Specs are way harder, they have a major influence on how you approach fights and so their impact on all weapons needs to be considered, and there are a lot more weapons than there are specs.

Weapons are also generally more comparable to one another, so many of them can compete together just with a nice stats balance. The most unique ones such as MGL kinda get kicked to the side as a result

Strength of the shak is it kills everything instantly in 10m and closer. It's close range duelist gun not a sustain gun like the m60.

I can cook on the MGL like crazy it's biggest issue is it's terrible at dueling other heavies.

It's actually not bad at dueling mediums and lights

Cause heavies have a shit ton of health so they have a lot of time to just beam your head and you get no access to any sort of damage multiplier.

Heavy can duel medium and light with it because they can't just sit there and hit trade and the MGL can zone them out. Heavy can just walk through MGL grenades and force me to retreat.
