Ok have you played grapple or played grapple. I have like 4-5 hundred hours on the spec. I'm telling you that the distance/speed/general utility of grapple is independent of whatever factor of length or duration you want to come up with. Having the cool down duration tied to that would lead to a complete inability to have any muscle memory for when the spec is ready to go. You'd effectively be guess and checking with a 1 charge ability which is gonna feel jank

Played 200h in the first 1-2 months and dropped it cause I found the reset boring as shit and the gun balance terrible.

Venator completely shreds, everyone abusing kettle and sticher and everyone running free laadouts and having gear fear if you do try to play with equipment you get ratted and it feels miserable I did a lot of fun shit but I find it extremely infuriating to die and getting backstabbed socially by people I trusted (having trust issues irl) and high level gear isn’t rewarding and the skilltree is too weak and the departure was too weak aswell there should be a notable difference in skilltree maxed out Versus zero and the raider tool aka pickaxe does too little damage I have many nitpicking’s and major complaints about the game

I quit the game after I hit 9 out of my 10 shots with rattler straight in the head cause I was on a free loadout for a venator to 4 shot me

For spec, dash would be okay to match up movement with enemy, but also if you use grapple then they are just no danger for you at all. So if you want to use grapple then use it with long range weapon like arn, xp, lh1, 93r to get away and shoot

I do think that they've actually done more balancing this season though, at least compared to S8 and S7.

Yeah I think this game felt great when you overcome your builds difficulties, not just casually swapping. Committing should be normalized and I think we have too much swap and reserves are just sitting there only for counterplay. One of thing I love to do in ranked is, I don't main one single gun and I can use model or akm too, so making top score 2 round by CL-40 and change into these at final round and looking them bringing aps that does nothing but filling their gadget slot. I love this, and this is what reserves should do as mind game, not casually swapping any gadget you want all the time. This sucks.
