Sadly dagger is the most effective melee weapon, and it's because of a networking complication. You can dash through somebody while doing a 180 and stabbing, and you will always have a ping dependent window where you get the backstab for free. Regardless if they tracked you perfectly or not, because you stab them before their turning is registered for you.

You can either grapple sniper/arn with thermal bore and heals to be overwatch for your team,

I played like 400 hours and admittedly I was really bad at fps games atp. But I didn't see smurfing nearly on the level I saw it playing OW2 again while s8 of The Finals was happening. I mean while I myself was smurfing (by nature of dropping the game at like bronze/silver skill across all fps, and then picking it back up at top 10k level across all fps), I still ended up fighting an actual smurf in like 15% of my games in that same silver - plat rank. Compared to like maybe 10 across 400 hours of OW1?

Yeah. And the shift of multiplayer games (in general) has created a 2 fold factor to this issue. The first, obvious thing, is the financial barrier to creating new accounts is gone. Therefore you can make a new account for completely free and thrash noobs. The second, non obvious thing, is that it also removes the decision point between buying a new shiny single player or buying a new shiny fps. Like back in the day, people were choosing between "Do I want to play OW or Dark Souls 3?" So everyone that was in the market of "beat stuff up, feel good" just played dark souls 3 (example). Now people just download fps cus it's free and then get caught in this cycle of jumping games trying to not feel like shit

Also you're doing all that work on the assumption that they are smurfing, and therefore have alternate accounts. There's no guarantee they actually do have alternate accounts and therefore your search could be fruitless. Meaning you just searched 10 million accounts worth of data in order to not find anything 💀

Like Embark when you run the game knows all the steam accounts run on that specific PC. Lot of information is retrieved by the anticheat. They don't even have to rely on IP. They already know which accounts belong to who. To make it tougher someone would have to use different hardware for each account, which why would people even go to that extent.

I think all the weapons are fine (besides riot shield) but the gadgets are incredibly unbalanced compared to each other. Gateway gives about 50 xp per teammate using it, whilst glitch mine gives 200 xp for each glitch.
