In games. I’ve just started playing ranked recently and I’ve only gotten to like the middle of silver (I had a terrible qualifier run but I’ve been winning every game for like the past 5 games). In like my 10-12 ranked matches so far I’ve literally only seen like 2 BFRs and they were so easy to counter. I see the BFR a little bit more in WT, but it’s still really uncommon.

Thoughts on devs not just using previous patch for esports so that they can easily keep updating the game for the 99.99% of normal players?
Kinda how a lot of other games run their esports situation...Apex constantly runs tournaments on previous patches so it doesn't ruin the experience for esports or casuals so they still get updates. Not sure why this game doesn't. You'd think they'd want to do that MORE here since numbers are much lower compared to other fps's on the market that are older on top of that.
Isolating casuals by having long breaks between balance/big updates just seems like a terrible idea. But I don't work in this field so maybe I'm missing a crucial data point here.

I love the game, but having lower count than OW2 a game renown for the amount of trash talked on it, makes it hard to defend the current circumstances around balance and the whole esports thing lol. Granted they've always been lower than them (besides at launch).
I just want the best for this game, but devs are making some weird choices and this is without getting into general bugs/server stability etc. And with Arc raiders I'm just afraid this will fall to the way side completely and be forgotten sooner than later.

I play riot shield decently often, and the whole walking-with-left-side cover is tricky for some folks, and in general I find that people just don't utilize movements like sliding to effectively get away/around people, like I get the four swipes off on a heavy more often than not.
