Damage tweak makes sense to get rid of winch + BFR one shot imo, however I wouldn't want to change any other break points. This is mainly just because with a hipfire nerf you'd also make that interaction very inconsistent and therefore frustrating. Not so much that I think it's completely broken. This change would also just encourage people using winch to aim for body shot instead of headshots, because it wouldn't be able to consistently hit head shots and it would give roughly the same result. So a 2 damage nerf would suffice.

Yeah, you cant exactly make a blanket statement and then be straight up wrong and then say, "in a vacuum" doesnt make any sense, especially considering that the sa12 is probably one of the easiest weapons to get into it's effective range with, with dome and winch claw. Also, if you actually look at damage vs's hp, youd quickly realise that there isn't a "DPS class" and any damage differences are accounted for by hp values, medium and heavy both have weapons that can kill as fast as lights.

This is cus of desync, there's like 5-10 frames where the hitbox just doesn't move and then basically teleports to the end position.

I think particle wise, other than being more clear, it'd also be nice for it to show the end position in some way. Maybe like pacman dots or something that appear, making it easier to predict where a player dashing is going to be. Maybe not the biggest deal for experienced people but would be big for newer/console players that struggle

It's a team game. Light is hard to master (bc you have low health). Start as a medium and play support, or a heavy and play close-range weapons. Then once you get the main game loop down, branch out to other playstyles that seem fun.

What would everyone think if they made it so MGL’s detonations would give the user (and only the user) a brief, single prox sensor pulse say, 5-6m around the explosion, to aid in using corners, banking off walls, and weeding out hiders.

I think MGL works really well when a light is spamming sonars, but heavy has no real way to get that intel themselves so its usually blind shooting 3 mags and doing zero damage, or getting rushed and dying bc it sucks at close range.

it's kinda hated for having a bad art style and being a "soulless cashgrab", but the game is completely free, and most of the cosmetics aren't even too cool to make you buy them, just basic clothing, even for free you can open boxes (only available for free, no paid lootboxes) to get some basic everyday chill clothing and board parts

but the minute to minute gameplay is so fun, first you might be jamming at a skatepark, then you are actually rolling down a hill (as a human ball) at mach five to find a hidden spot for more jamming, and the skateboarding feels FUN, although off-board gameplay is a bit buggy (early access)

Actually cl will still be better because if you're going for manual detonations you have to greatly slow down your firing rate to compensate for timing the detonations. CL just allows you to unconditionally blast people grouped together as long as you have high ground.

If a melee is approaching you can try and place right in front of them so they bounce off and you shoot or escape or you take jump pad and shoot while escaping lol. I use it alot mid fight for bursts of movement tbh

I just assume most of my teamates in any team based game are part of the 60ish percent of humans with no internal dialouge because I cannot fathom having an active train of thought where you run in alone every fight and die but dont see an issue with yourself.
