Ive played all classes and heavy and medium is much more upfront, like their kits allows them to take more fights just straight face to face which you cant do at all on light unless you try to dodge your enemies shots while you are shooting. Thats just to name one thing, but its just less extra stuff you need to do to to win your fights. But Im only talking about the bases, Im not talking about which class is hardest to get kills/damage with etc, just the fundamentals of how you play the classes

Let's not forget light dies to most weapons in the game in half a second or slightly more. In the most ideal situation, it would be getting eliminations without getting hit at all. With that, light does it the best by trading health for highest potential ttk. That being said, highest ceiling would be light.

I mean skill floor and skill ceiling are all part and parcel of the same thing.

Medium easiest to pick up with minimal ceiling, lights are a lil harder to pick up due to being low hp and die as fast as they can kill, heavies are the hardest to begin with due to low movement speed and limited range.

Heavy skill ceiling solely relies on how to utilise everything your team sets up around you and your own individual movement skill by utilising mesh and gadgets such as dome, goo, barricade etc etc.

Light has far more tech and shit to learn but nothing that most people couldn’t pick up with a bit of practise, lights being pure target acquisition, glitch nade timing and good TP positioning

Mediums biggest skill ceiling is learning demat placement and playing for goo stalls and fib timing.

You are talking about stuff beyond skill floor, if a new player would boot up the finals for the first time then the class they would be able to find most success with in the beginning is most likely heavy since you have a large health pool and lots of bullets in your mag for atleast the lmgs. No one is expecting new players to use their gadgets optiomally in the beginning, but like dome shield will probably give value even if you dropped it a little wrong.

Couple of issues.
wt and ranked are the primary areas where cl-40 is annoying.
You need to have APS in the reserve in wt to swap to it mid round, and ranked you can't even swap to it.
Granted this is more of a problem with ranked and the loadout system in general, but medium is really good at putting themself in situations where the cl-40 performs well. And the self damage doesn't matter that much with the current heal meta (which is a whole other can of worms).
It isn't fine, it needs some changes to make it less effective at spamming, and reward skilled usage more.

Look embark the effort necessary to counter cl40 is unpropotionally higher than how easy it is to get kills with it to the point where i bave to use all my limited mobility tools for one guy or have an aps on me at all times which completely limits my movement to its radius while his teammates can come and hunt me.
