gearsets are generally just :crafted gear day 1 if you're lazy but have money, or a mix of that and the normal raid gear for pre bis bis (normally listed on the balance for each class)

for consumables for actual savage, its just food and pots for your class, what food is gonna vary on the bis set/class itself

you should look at it less like "every mistake is a death" and more like "how many mistakes can we make before the clear is unobtainable"

when you die, you can just get raised and continue on

most of the time, one or even four deaths across the raid doesn't prevent your clear in savage

of course if you die during a major mechanic, that can easily snowball and lead to a raid wipe

but deaths are expected especially if you are new to savage

I recall having literally 18 raidwide deaths for e9s and still clearing on week 1

healer lb3 also exists for a reason

all i can say is it will definitely be harder to find open dps spots than it will be to find tank/healer spots. however that shouldn't discourage you from playing the class you want to play! If your schedule is wonky and you can't commit to raiding certain times, you can check PF, which will have a lot of parties for savage/ex trial when they're out

if you can commit to set weekly raid times just look for a static to do the content with~ i think you should think of it less as a struggle and more as "finding a group that i feel good working with and fits my schedule" for statics

Third trial, it's really a matter of getting past the the visual overstimulation and looking for the right cues

So I just hit 80 last night on Summoner and while I like it, I don't exactly love it. If I remember correctly they don't get any more new keybinds to add by 90 .. so if I am not loving it at 80 should I probably consider swapping to something else now before pushing to 90?

The last major change to how it feels is at 86, with Astral Flow for Ifrit/Titan/Garuda. It unlocks an extra ability for each and makes the whole rotation fit together a bit better, but I wouldn't say it majorly changes how the job feels. If you don't love it at 80, I don't think you'd love it at 90.

there’s truth to that assessment of drk, imo, … but many drk cleared the “current” endgame i.e. the 2 recent extreme trials blind so play drk if you want

game is .. ultimately balanced to the point where even the not as good jobs within a role can clear content just fine

Our preliminary testing for Determination appears to have solved the new formula.

thanks dude. I found your first guide really helpful -- although there is a small mistake in it on the light crystals during infractel arc: dps need to position themselves on LOS between their crystal and the back crystal. your guide says look at the boss this wont always work

based off consensus from people ive talked to /things ive seen people say, sage dps is comparable to whms (again may not be totally accurate, act is updated but fllogs isnt), scholar is actualyl a lot better with the fairy improvements and whm feels.....not quite right since theres not enough ogds for the short cast time / lilies now suck cause you have a short cast time (were prior used for optimizing movement + healing at the same time)

quick tips are the only thing moving are animals (snakes birds behemoths) and fire trench
