that is the best way to prompt, no matter how much the image models have advanced, I found that keywords to be much better working than huge prompts with overdescription. Chatgpt and Nano can really understand alot of it but it doesn't all get on imagery, they also have token limit on how much they understand in a prompt

Natural language is good only for short prompts that that to the point.

Sooo the background removal option for my generated image did a bad job- and it removed part of my character (working on a character).. What else can I do? Are there specific models that can do this for me in a better way? I asked nano banana and thought it did great but it turns out it replaced the background with the transparency grid rather than actually making it a transparent image without a background 😔

Hmm... can you then use the background removal on this new picture ? Since now there should now be a better contrast between back and front, it should remove it correctly

My character has a very obvious dark outline- so you'd expect it wouldn't have an issue figuring out the edges- but it seems the white around the outline is faded away in some places rather than just removed 🤔

Was hoping to get sharp edges but it seems unable to do that for me

Could it be because my image is 1024x1024 and not upscaled further?

yeah, this is why I need to look through the logs and check what caused it to trigger. my guess is that it didn't reset heat for you, from previous images posted. it's only supposed to go into this mode if a person is sending more than twice the normal amount of images. we've been having a lot of issues with image spammers, and there are a few new processes to keep things under control.

I just finished a project. I’ve been spending months building. It’s basically a framework, engineering prompt or whatever the hell the proper term is, for creating image generation prompts right now it’s set for creating Pikachu variations with literally any subject being layered on top of a Pikachu base, but I can easily modify it to generate any kind of picture not just Pikachu variations

I use that engineering prompt I created to generate the image prompt and then fed it to Gemini and this is the image I got.

it is only my recommendation. sometimes a bug only impacts a few people. if they think only some are impacted, they don't have as much data for debugging. and with fewer reports, it's often harder to replicate an issue. I say this as a developer, it is always helpful to have more reports. And I'm not sure anyone here has filled out a report yet using /report_issue

Hi Otokoda, that advanced setting was just a Model shortcut/override, (not two models at once),
the newer UI layout has most likely made it redundant.

Indeed, and this disappearance is all the more strange given that its function was mysterious. Mixing two models allows you to create completely different and more beautiful images than with just one of the two models. You first select the first model at the top of the image creation interface, then go to the advanced settings and choose a second model. But for the past few days, the option for the second model has disappeared. It still exists on the Leonardo app for smartphones. Look at the two screenshots: in the first one, you can see the line to choose the second model; in the second one, the line is gone.

Good question. I know there are a lot of reasons to want to download the entire collection, and I often get a lot of them in bulk myself.
At the moment, there is not a simple "Press here to download everything" button.

On the other hand, with a bit of technical know-how, using an API key, someone can script their own "download all" feature.
It can be a bit of a challenge, but then someone can choose exactly how they want to download their collection (ie: sorted by year and months, subfolder for similar prompts, etc...)

Yeah I've been "out of the loop" for a few months and it seems image and video creation has been improved a lot 🙂

When motion 1.0 was released I used it a lot, but the options were quite limited.

So it seems with newer models, we can use reference frames and prompts and even more options?

I tried to use video on a long winding, futuristic corridor imaged i created with leonardo.
I used the prompt "video showing a walk through the corridor".
But instead of just showing a "first person walk" through the corridor, it created a new character that walked through it. So maybe i need to word my prompts in a different way.

mmm interesting, maybe you need to use camera motion names, in this case perhaps a zoom in?

the prompting is important in video, but once you get it you can do whatever you want with videos

hey thanks, but i dont want different posture/ pose/ angles. What im looking for is a 2d character deconsutrction. so for example i want to deconstruct such that the top, bottom, shoe, weapon, hat, hair, eyes are all seperated from the avatar. so that i can use it as layers, like my character with a base body (naked) can equip these assets/ items/ features - so i want them to maintain/ retain the same angle

so ive been trying both in leonardo and via wavespeed apis, nano banana pro edit (dont need ultra for high res tbh) comes the closest. qwen-image-edit is not very good and keeps hallucinating items. i have paid membership but right now what i need is to refine my prompt so i can work on 'extracting' assets from all my creations regardless of what the character avatar is wearing

Hi, folks! How to refer to exact image when using omni reference models like banana pro? Seems like Leonardo doesn't support direct refer via @ sign like Freepik. So I have three uploaded image references. How to refer to third one in prompt?

I usually describe something about the image to differentiate it. I do sometimes say things like "the third reference image", and I think it's able to infer what I mean, but the key with nano pro is that it understands natural language, so I find I get the best results with things like "add the spoilers from the red car in the reference image to the image of the blue car"
