I am SO at the end of last nerve with Leonardo AI. Over the time of being a subscriber, I've seen more and more models being added, and yet despite its apparent progress, it has become more restrictive than Kier Starmer's Liberal/Socialist no-free-speech Britain!!! 🤬 🤬

I have just tried to create an image for my next book and NOW it's picking up on two words that it considers 'BAD WORDS' - 'dead' and 'bare'. Here is part of the prompt I used (and I asked Grok for help with this prompt by the way, and it told me to use this):

"...Dirt paths wind between the structures, with sugarcane fields, pine trees, moss-draped oaks, and subtle bayou/wetland edges in the background. On the far periphery of the hamlet stands a large ancient dead tree with twisted bare branches and gnarled roots..."

Why in the hell is this platform becoming more and more restrictive on the most simplest of commands? It's insane. I'm paying good money for this service, I don't expect to be slapped down like a child with one hand whilst your other hand is in my wallet!!!!! 🤬

but we arent told about what Leo plans to do next.. wish we were.. 😅

its not about subjectively better images, you'll get some from time to time. However the model is way too limited to be compared to Nano pro for a reason, functionality is way behind.

it is limited to a certain level of imagery, it cannot cross that barrier

nano and gpt1.5 crosses ahead a bit, but they are better mostly because of multimodal capability

its frankly amazing how far AI image generation has come in just a few years

honestly a few years back we were being happy about dreamshaper being able to do random stuff...

now we suddenly can do alot of exactly what we want these days

multimodal stuff removes the need for learning prompting altogether.

i've run into it trying to refuse named characters before, but always managed to get the result in teh end anyways.

in my experience, if you generate with 🍌 , this style is achieved by prompting for a "cartoon anime chibi style"

but it tries to carry over the same model and settings you used that time

Right well the issue then is that the reference images loaded still show up under the prompt, say I add some ref images, write a prompt and hit generate, i look at my generations and click remix on the one i want to use, I still see the prompt but also the reference images are there too so I guess it's just a semantic issue on my part because I feel like the word 'remix' is not accurate. 'Reuse Prompt' would describe it better. anyway, just my 2 cents now that I know how to use it.

Hey will you guys be adding 3d Modeling anytime soon? I was trying to use Trellis 2 just now over on HF and it must take a decent chunk of compute because you cant even get one model out of it before I need to pay and since Im already paying for Leonardo I thought I'd ask here. 🙂

There is immense demand in Indie gaming, but the models have wireframe issues

the models end up being unoptimized for gaming, which is a huge pain for utillization

once they cross that problem, they'll become really popular

Gaming in the past was focused around AAA titles, now its reverted to Indie games ruling the charts. Big Money is exiting gaming, Indie game devs are slowly able to create better and faster

i think, the best idea would be an agent that is able to use blender directly. Sort of like what they are making with Unity AI Gateway. It's like an interface for Claude and Codex agents to actually use the editor and have in editor context. Also meshy.ai is pretty good. Part of the hype is experiential. If you actually use AI, it feels immediately powerful in a way most tech hasn’t. I think that makes it different than .com bubble. That creates a split where frontline users get excited and outsiders stay skeptical. GPUs and data centers are real assets. Even if hype cools, they still run games, rendering, scientific sims, video, cloud services, and future models, etc. So i don't think it will completely go away, but who really knows I guess we will see eventually where it goes.

If you can generate initial logo and final look you can still use even previous kling models to create some animation worth your time

I haven't tested kling that well, but lets see what it can do

Im using the logo for my company so it's a specific look. but even saying stuff in the prompt like: Use the exact logo from the provided reference image.
The logo must be photographically identical to the reference.
No alterations to letter shapes, spacing, proportions, colours, edges, kerning, or orientation. /end and that still doesnt get the logo correct. I think it's prioritising movement and other metrics over accurate logo reproduction so probably just a matter of time until a new model with the right weights can do it.

perhaps you are over explaining it, keep the prompt generally simple of what you want the motion to be rest is mostly diceroll, it messes up sometimes and it hits the spot sometimes

I mostly used motion most of the time in my videos

only stupid thing I did that ruined alot of my work was not actually checking resolution

didn't realize Nano banana which was not Pro, had terrible low resolution and details. Once the video zooms into that it was such a mess
