druid doesn't need SSM... I know everyone has been running it, gotten used to it, loves it.... believe me, you can outplay more without it. Druid without SSM can cancel shifts. Let that marinate for a little bit and you can probably come up with a few ways to really trip an opponent up. You can even do all of the movement tech without SSM and you keep your spirit magic.

Druid chicken damage actually needs a buff.

You’re vulnerable, loud, and locked into an animation just to peck for single-digit damage. There’s real risk with zero payoff. If chicken is meant to be a utility form, fine — but then it shouldn’t feel actively useless in combat.

The real answer to this is actually paying attention; he is barely engaged with their answers, he asks questions nobody wants to know the answer to. "Is there going to be an artifact on the new boss" is not something you ask in a game developer interview. "Are there any other changes to warlock than what you've already made a point to mention" is not a question people want asked in the limited timeframe IM has to answer questions.

They need to continue to learn these lessons and apply them -- ARC Raiders was extremely successful for an extraction game with less depth and most people I know say that ARC is ten times more fun than DaD, and they need to find out why. They need to KEEP finding out how to improve their game and get past this mindset that they can't deviate from their "original vision". They need to let the game thrive by implementing better ideas that other games have done before.

If they continue to go in this direction, I see Dark and Darker coming back stronger than ever.
