Honestly I don't think anyone actually playing the game wants 1v3 situations, but SDF is so laser-focused on making 1v3 possible. I personally don't believe 1v3 is possible unless the TTK is incredibly low like Tarkov. But in this game it just doesn't work, it takes too long to kill someone for a 1v3 to be realistically viable as a design strategy. Even if they made the TTK low like that, it would suck the fun out of the game and turn it into ranger/fighter/bard meta, which we're already dangerously close to.

The pvp was finally feeling balanced with gear still giving advantage, but not so much so it gauranteed the win.

Only needed to nerf Ranger slightly and it wouldve been perfect.
Add a bit more content gear wise to allow more various stat expression, add more crafted gear and make that gear better than Legendary's in ways but less than Uniques

Heres some tips to help. . .
If you are looting, go in and loot. Dont waste the first 7 minutes of the match to loot then run off to go pvp and die with it.
once you get your loot out. Go to the lolmarket and buy a decent set cause a full blue set costs you like 800 coins
rinse repeat.
once you get 5k now you can go in there feeling like a pro to die anyway. But you wont be as mad about it cause you learned that 1 match can make you 1 good gear set.

sorc's spells are much slower than arrow you can just move any direction to dodge and spell is cleary visible because spells are colorful when Arrow is hidden in dark and onetaps you with much more speed

Honestly dude I've put weeks of game time with buddies in previous wipes when loot was just the same building out multiple characters. It's cool if you don't enjoy it.

SSF arena gives purpose to vendor quests in a fresh wipe. Bossing to unlock grimsmiles, questing to unlock bravehunters, frostlight etc. It provides an added layer of something to do in the loop of just rushing to hit demigod in the dungeons.

Arena should not be made marketplace only because "there isn't enough players for it" they just need to fix the damn game and add back the queues people want so people will actually play.

They removed solos and duos because there was "too many queues to make active lobbies" and dropped their playerbase by 80% over a week. Problem solved I guess.

I played for 5 hours, first time playing more than two raids in over a month, with a friend that hasn’t played at all in months, and we had an absolute blast. I killed a full legendaries bonk wizard in squire wizard gear. Why? Because of an outplay. His gear did not save him from being outplayed, but it absolutely gave him an advantage that he shouldn’t squander. This is the balance.

We walked away from that session saying “even when we lost, this shit was so damn fun”
There is an actual PvP to looting balance and it makes the game so fun

Now the hard reality… we would not have had that fun without the ability to have a random third teammate every game. When our teammate died or left, we would instantly reset because we knew fighting three man teams as a duo is mostly a death sentence

Aye don’t get me wrong I was one of those people, but I don’t get pleasure in killing lowtier gear players. They are kind of just mobs to me lol. The real fights that I love are the ones where teams out gear or match me. Usually the fight lasts quite some time and super tactical, those are the fights I play this game for. And if everyone can experience what I did then that’s better not worse. U will see more creativity, skill and competitiveness from it imo.

I think in concept you’re 100% right I’m just not fully sure how to execute that idea. Because in the past, I feel as though those types of gear sets, and the fights that came with them were really only accessible to a very small group of players. And trust me I agree with you last season I was artifact farming and putting together crazy kits. For me, what I like about this update, isn’t really tied to the time to kill as much as it is tied to the idea that every class feels like it is actually functioning in its own lane and in the lane it’s supposed to be in. Speed cap with MorningStar out cleric just should not be in the game Imo

Bro I have been playing hide/ambush rogue with a short sword half the time since the gear squish, don’t even have commons unlocked in my squire so I’m running around in poors. So many kills. If you want to play like a mosquito you sure can, but I rarely use crossbow or throwing knives unless it’s to finish a kill that I’ve just ambushed. If they don’t have their weapon away, don’t attack

last time i played, 3-4 months ago, my avg 2 SK geared rogue, was < then any barb in purples.
so i just started playing barb. After that - there was no way to take Ghost King from me. Rogues prefered to stay away from 300hp gigachad

will always be stronger, then classes with one option
that's how all games works.
You can win solo dota on Invoker, but not on Centaur
you can skill-check people on mage with 20 skills
