Rogue needs a rework - The "kill or be killed" gameplay is shit for balance. They either get deleted or statstick enough to delete. No in between.

Bows need to be reworked because of how consistent and flexible their high-damage arrows are. Its so boring to play and play against. Not to mention ez as can be for any fps player. bink bink bink bink dead

Antiheal needs to be put on explosive bottle or SOME throwable. Seeing a warlock / healer and going "well we're screwed" since u dont have a heal or anti heal comp is just boring and poor balance.

330 MS makes the games balance non existent by default since classes designed to be slow, are now fast as the wind.

330 MS with weapon out should never be a thing when hit slow is already in the game. Having your hands out has ZERO purpose or advantage when everyone is 330 with weapons. Again, boring gameplay.

True damage dominates and thats just lazy. It's also a huge contributor to why range spam and BiS rogue is so oppressive.

Everything I've mentioned has the core theme of:

1.) removing skill and replacing it with stats
and
2.) Being so gosh dang boring to play.

Everything is just "oonga boonga w-key" or "haha range dmg spam." Then toss in a healer / TM warlock. The meta is so cut, dry, and BORING. FIx this

I agree with all of this, bows are stupid for how much dmg they do. Anti heal needs to be more accessible by other classes/utility. BEING FORCED TO BE 330 MS in this wipe is so horrible, you're at an extreme disadvantage no matter what class you play. The problem was ego honestly by the developers. Healing changes, (warlock bruh), old classes not getting love, rangers(fuck rangers fuck bows) pot changes, I heard druid is busted. Wizard couldn't find a middle ground constantly nerfed(unlike ranger) But it is mainly range combat that kills the game. Simply fighter cannot close distance in armor. But need armor and shield to stop arrow. However archer have many arrow. Kite kill easy. Sprint barely catches them. So how does a ranger die? By another ranger. As shown the one with the largest range has the most advantage. However they never made ways to punish rangers. As arrows slow on hit. You could do everything right as other classes and still lose to ranger.

The development has been so biased towards the rangers that you may suspect that sdf is a ranger main secretly when he gets bored by druid. Jokes aside what you said it's true, ranged damage is just too valuable in the game and they added too many escapes for rangers to get out of combat even if they missplay, plus the legendary shotgun so even if they lose all their escapes they kill you anyway. It's virtually impossible to die as ranger to melee unlike you are a timmy and can't read your skills.

This game ignores all balance guidelines for ranged damage. Let me give you some examples. It is generally agreed in game balance that:

1. The more damage you get the slower your missiles and your attacks should be, completely ignored by DaD and to make it even more extreme they gave the shotgun feature that not only one shots but is one of the fastest, if not the fastest attack in the game.
2. The range damage should not exceed melee damage. On average resistances the ranged hits on the best case scenario shouldn't exceed 20% of max hp as the classes to throw ranged projectiles with unlimited resources are considered often poke, not burst classes. What do we do in DaD? We made ranger a burst class with the resources of a poke class, the worst possible combination for balance. As it stands ranged damage is too valuable in DaD, being on the same page if not more than melee damage, with range advantage.
3. Ranged classes are supposed to have weaknesses, more specifically in melee - The only counter in DaD to a ranger is another ranger. Before anyone cries about barbarian, ranger has too many escapes and can one shot any melee class comfortably with the shotgun. If they can't one shot, they have multi shot knock back anyways. At this moment this class doesn't have any weakness but itself.

The game was meant to be an exciting loot and extract dungeon game with fun and interactive experiences with other players in the lobby. You'd team up with random players to survive the unforgiving dungeon and fight exhilarating boss battles to secure big bountys, perhaps do a little backstabbing afterwards.

It was meant to be more like WoW, not like Tarkov. You were supposed get excited by rare treasures and jewels not +movespeed on a pair of shoes.

You were never meant to contest players for their gear, but for the treasures they were after as well.

With the skill ceiling being so high there is no way for new players to enjoy the game, so many metas, skills and combat mechanics to learn and you can't avoid it either.

This is coming from a sweaty player myself, I like the difficult pvp aspect but it was never meant for the game. pvp was never meant to be more profitable than pve and that's what put the nail in the coffin.

They might prefer it over random trios, but you’re correlating the most preferred thing with the most played thing. We don’t know the most preferred thing but if I had to guess, it’s trios with friends or at least a team of people you can communicate with. Most games, and I mean 90% of multiplayer games thrive off team play, not solo play. Like in day R6 or over watch, more people solo que than team stack. That doesn’t mean people want to solo que, it’s just easier.

All that said, the answer definitely isn’t to remove trios or something. As mentioned, team play is important. So if they want to build the game off team play, then I’d rather that than building it off solo play. I don’t want them remove solos, but if it allows them to focus on trios only and make a better game over time, then I can wait. I don’t mind waiting for the game to be better

Those make a difference, loose trousers+lightfoot boots for movespeed
Then the whole where you swing practice comes into play. for longsworders you gotta use a side attack weapon like club/shield, their riposte always comes from the side so it takes practice to block them if you accidently do hit their sword and if you do still and they have the action speed perk its still a gg cause they hit faster than you can block in squire kits 😅 Main thing is to take side hits in your arm and not get 1-2 tapped from body/head
