1. Delete all files except .egstore from EPIC games DarkandDarker folder

2. Copy all files from BLACKSMITH darkanddarker folder EXCEPT tvk.sys to EPIC folder

3. Exit and Relaunch Epic. Launch your game. it should work now.

4. Get your code.

5. Launch blacksmith WITH A FRESH ACCOUNT.

You took the Blacksmith route right? I suggest you to reinstall the game in Epic Games (its delisted but you can still donwload bc its in your library), after that install the steam version and swap the files, keeping the .egstore. try this and see if you manage to get the code

I did this way because I already had Steam version installed, so I got the files from Steam, updated the Epic Version, launched the game, got the code, then proceeded to the Blacksmith version

I've already transferred all the files from my Dark and Darker Steam account to my Dark and Darker Premium account on Epic Games, but when I try to enter the game, it stays on the loading bar and the game suddenly closes.
Sorry if this problem has already been discussed. I'm new to the Dark and Darker Discord.

All Tutorials.

1. HOW to solve crashing on launch:
   I did uninstall with Revo Uninstaller and selected to delete ALL files and info from windows registry. After that I clean installed again from Steam and that worked.

After that you can copy Steam to Epic Games, but not delete .egstore from Epic Games Darker folder, and launch to Transfer / Migrate from Epic to Blacksmith

2. HOW to transfer:
   I started my Epic Games game and wait on Transfer screen

I did install Blacksmith launcher, pressed button "Activate" and after few seconds button Install appeared. I installed blacksmith game, but before launching I switched to opened Epic Games game and pressed button to Get key/password to migrate. After that I launched blacksmith game and AFTER loading pop-up message appeared "If you are Epic Games user" and two buttons "Transfer" and "Skip", I pressed Transfer and paste copied key/password and my account successfully migrated.

i disagree, i think map knowledge and high traffic areas made more strategic plays possible and rewarded knowledge in a more meaningful way. random maps dont help with 3rd parties, dont lessen the frequency of pvp or boss invades, just makes it random chance, punishing new players by hiding rez shrines and extracts, and old players by making their objective in the dungeon an rng grind.

Warlock mainly uses perks that allow him to heal from spell mostly curse of pain
And yes u need to cast some spells when fighting or u can just turn him into an armored warlock with a perk to equip plate armor
He can also use long range melee weapons like bardiche , other heavy long weapon and long sword
Or use fighter , barb , bard for that playstyle

I still run into 3rd and 4th parties almost every match. since it spawns people close to or in spots where other people were and cleared, they can just follow your trail straight across the map to you. bossing in crypts is a nightmare, but inferno its less common to be invaded since the 5x5 and random change, but its also less frequent that you even get to attempt the boss.

You're probably not easily killing min-maxed players only, also just high gear score players. People assume 224 means everyone is equal and comes down to only skill, which isn't the case 100%. Skill gets you far, but I wouldn't let it get to your head unless you have worse gear than others and still win.

Fog of war and random map is a good change because it makes every match feel unique and prevents massive third party, which was a huge problem before these changes. However, the circle mechanic in hr and the change in extraction sucks. HR should have fog of war and fixed extraction points per module just like normals but with increased difficulty in the PvE. Also, for goblin caves to be worth playing with these changes, we need a way to discover the map. For example, if you kill a boss, you discover the Door and the other boss location in the map. @glad thunder

I think it'd be a fine addition. Let's people play and learn without getting sniped from a player that's been around since the dawn of the game. Tarkov understood that PvE was wanted, and the PvP is still around.

Have gear be better on average in pvp. Keep the gear score systems. It would work out fine. Arena already is in the works for the reason of people wanting only pvp. Why not also only PvE? Or make it majority PvE. Make HR or something similar for the PvEvP for people who want both. 3 game modes.

PvEvP, rotating map each week/day/hour
Gear doesn't need to be exclusive. It will be impossible to balance each class for every mode, as we've already seen. But if you focus only on one mode for the entirety of the game, the rest suffers.
