back in the day when there was no gearscore/limitations, people would go into dungeons naked/basic and fight anyone from green-purple. It was a lot harder then, but still doable. Now that gear has been adjusted (less stats overall) it's much more likely for basic kit users to dominate people in rare/epic just with skill alone.

I have 250h+ of gameplay just learned how to deal with demon berserker last week. I dont know on High Roller with infinite stats, but on normals some times takes 3-5mins to get into the boss room and up to 3min to kill the boss. Almost impossible to loot the whole treasure hoard before leaving, now the dungeons are fucking random, i'm a mage dude, I need to rest to recover skills to deal with mobs, or they aim for pvp, or they aim for dungeon exploration, not both. i'm just giving up

Make good gear harder to get. the problem with what this patch adds is that people wanting to play high roller are gonna get run over by better geared players that were normally playing 225+. The fix is to make normal 0-124 and make it so only gear up to blue rarity drops. then re instate 125-224, but make it so only up to purples can be worn in. while having golds and uniques still be possible drops/upgrades in the dungeon. What this will do is allow newer players to walk into highroller after a norm more confident that min maxers won't steam roll them. My personal experience was that going into high roller early in my playtime made me a much better player much quicker. having good gear this easy to get is awful. I can die in a good kit but guess what it'll take me one raid to get it back and that's not how it should be. MAKE THE GAME HAVE RISK AGAIN. what do yall think ab it tho.

To reply to those saying that now my solution is to throw those 224 min maxers versus legendary +all min maxers. YES. Actually. There are far less Legendary/unique min maxxers and this just eliminated some dead lobbies. If you want to roll HR either budget and rat until you can afford high tier kits or roll your high tier kit versus others and risk something. 224 hr was so cheap it was no risk. Play arena if you only want PVP

Mid-GS lobbies is where the game was most balanced. Removing that is just opening up the impossible to balance high-GS bracket onto everyone. Literally just going to be mechanic abuse in every game now. Game is being catered to the highest level of play again.

224 hr was just minmaxing and abusing the gem socket system into cobalt gear with 3 rolls, purple chest, with +all rings and necks. It was a noobstomp simulator versus those that didn’t have that gear. Now people are mad they can’t gear check people because in 500+ gearscore you’ll lose your bankroll too fast trying to run +all grim smiles and legendaries. All you noobs know it. Change my mind.

For those complaining I did this on warlock with blue crystal ball for magic heal with only -5 ms dif from book with less GS req. and ruby silver/shoes of darkness bissed out and it was easy AF. It was unhealthy for the game and I’m glad it’s gone. It’s the same for blood exchange abuse. It needed to go even if you benefitted.

but that wont happen. a timmy in a squire kit w a purple wep vs a minmaxed 124 kit will not win 99.9% of the time. i enjoyed minmaxing for high roller. I'm not going to start doing it for normals, but the players who get their rocks off PVPing noobs sure will. that WILL affect the new players negatively. step back and look at it objectively. they have fun rolling noobs. i dont understand the sentiment, but this WILL make that worse.
