people will disagree but I think its straight up wizard, with bard songs. Then you get jokester and the +3 knw/will bard perk or frost armor, and the move speed passive and +2 all song of the bard + ideally the armor/mr buff and spell recovery. Dreamwalk if you want to be unethical, but you dont need it since you counter dreamwalkers with fireball and get mending grove or sanc for reset. And yes ive rolled 50-100 times for this

That "distorted vision" thing is actually what makes DaD great. You can see it with Dungeonborne they dont have a vision they just want "success", they dont know what to do when the playerbase gives them shit about the balance, they dont have a direction. And as they will go down in player numbers, at somepoint they will just give up. IM could have given up, but they followed their vision and adjusted here and there to community feedback. Seeing this with many games, not just DB, makes be appreciate the fact that IM does this out of passion and if the game goes in a direction i dont like, ill take a break and come back later. 2days until wipe btw...

-start selling the golden tokens to recover the liquid gold as you need it

you dont need to do it with tokens, you can use golden keys for example, but price oin that is a little volatile and not much people are buying those rnow

I read this and it clearly states it's not for publication to the public and shouldn't be read by anyone except the court. It's also for an issue involving publication on valve and not the game. Some misrepresented precedent made in another case is allowing them to try and sue for releasing the game on a competitors platform. Yes, cosmetics and previously earned rewards like class training tokens and bluestone will stay as well. Inventory and progress with merchants will go back to zero. Shortly after wipe season ranked rewards will be claimable, last time there was about a week wait time.

There will be a "new map" and likely more quests to go along with it so it should feel somewhat fresh. But you will be able to progress faster this time and collect the items you need in advance, the wipe is a way to get everyone back on level with each other so without it the game would feel stale for a lot of people

i mean ranger has not been changed for like 7 patches now and its cause none of the devs actually play the class to see that in high end gameplay ranger just falls off completely. i wore full bis and i couldn't get a wiz after pumping 10 arrows in him just cause he had a cleric (they were mostly body shots not all head or limb) and i think ranger is supposed to be similar dps to a wiz in terms of damage cause wiz = mag dps and ranger = physical dps, but ranger can only shoot and not have utility as wizard and the fact that wizard does more damage when it is all that ranger has just makes no sense

1. Ranger is literally a counter to wizard arrows are way easier to land than long range wizard spells and you have higher dps the only thing he has on you is zap DPS but that requires being decently close
2. Cleric's heals are limited and you should have either a cleric or bard in a trio comp anyway if you dont you are just trolling/handicapping yourself anyway a ranger can exhaust a cleric's spells a turn him into a worse fighter with one skill

Wizard isnt better against 'every comp' just better against most because building MDR is really hard since there are virtually no MDR focused armor pieces and some classes dont get good anti MD perks also wizards have higher burst dmg
However ranger can be potent because of traps and in certain comps can be really strong (for example if you have a warlock or caster cleric in your team)
You can win with ranger in your comp tho but you need to make sure your team also has a tank and support if you dont have a tank, support and ranged dmg then it doesnt matter if you are a wizard or ranger or whatever you will lose 9/10 times

(Also we should get some kind of support subclass on something because its ridiculous that we have ONE class with healing and only 2 supports

It would be helpful if you played as a cleric for resurrection and healing, as they will be tanking many mobs for a while. For new players, it's best not to choose rogue, ranger, or wizard since I think they might be too hard for new players to fully understand (although I may be biased).

Insane PDR higher than any class in the game even warlock cant beat you because you have dedicated skills to raise your pdr and can use shields
Barb literally has no magic dmg sources achill does literal 5 dmg so it is the 2nd most phys dmg reliant class in the game right along fighter, which fighter counters
You have a mobility skill (sprint) which directly counters barbs because they almost cannot deal damage to you unless they can reach you since fran axes suck
You have on demand healing which lets you match a barb's sustain because of it comboing with PDR
You have fran axes, throwing knives AND bows/crossbows which are all ranged weapons something barbs are famously bad against because their only response is fran axes which are nowhere near as good as bows

I have about 2k hours on melee classes. If I walk up to a longsword fighter holding parry they'll never parry me. Try to weave it it right before an attack comes like their downward swing or second rapier hit. Otherwise your intentions are telegraphed and your just going to die while being laughed at.

The Shields when blocking should have the same buff for the next attack as LONG SWORD. Depending on the shield the % bonus damage should change.
Aka Buckler high % bonus dmg while the bigger shields give less.
This way, If you take a defensive stance and block, you are rewarded for your ability to block and can riposte.

Weapon mastery should not exist on Fighter, just allow fighters to use all weapons and remove the ability to use daggers from fighter.
