you didnt tackle any of the points i made, yes right now nobody can play in their region but once thats fixed say i que into a lobby and it generates a lobby for me and someone else joins a lobby 30 seconds after i do and it generates another lobby for them, since theres an infinite time frame theres nothing stopping people from not queing and sitting in trade or something and theres no urgency to play since its always going to be there this game doesnt have the player density to always fill lobbies right now, but with the previous map rotation it made it where you HAD NO CHOICE but to que into a lobby that everyone else is queing for. i think having no map rotation is great i dont like some of the maps but ultimately its going to make us see a decrease in lobby population

I will say I'm on team A in terms of having ping lock somehow bug you out of your own region is ridiculous, but also on Team B for not recognizing that bringing your best shit probably isn't the smartest move. People talking about a PvE focused leader board where the number one guy plays on some dead backwoods server like it has anything at all to do with the Fighter in PvP aren't worth going back and forth with. The easiest way to prove Fighter isn't a top class is to ask them why they aren't maining it? If it's so good why is everyone a Barbarian, Warlock, Rogue? Because, wait for it truthful hot take, the Fighter is the hardest class accel with in PvP with this movement speed and ranged spam meta. It has the worst skill amd perk synergy in the game and the ones that would be good and fun are limited or rebuff you for using them.

Ironmace fix for performace was to lower mob density in all maps, caves is so empty there's 2-4x more times chests per room than there are mobs, modules that used to have 13 mobs now have 3 goblins heavily spaced out.

Rooms are so empty it takes longer to open all the chests than to kill all the mobs, they are so empty you can b line anywhere on the map in under 3 minutes, rooms are so empty running through rooms without clearing isn't even a risk anymore, its literally just a looting simulator now with a few pvp fights.

Go in naked a few times and try rotating in both directions to see which moveset you personally find easier to trigger and avoid. Took me a legit full day or two to start locking it in.

Just a sword, no shield. Go for 1 hit at a time to start. There are 2 swings that come from the left with different heights and one is nigh impossible to crouch jump for us so learn the animation if you circle left.

Depending on your range the Troll will chain and trigger different attacks, the shout is scary but you can get right outside his club range and he'll do a swing and miss you most of the time once you sort it.

My advice as a Fighter trying to farm the troll. Don't. We aren't a strong class with high damage, healing, buffing like the others. No lingering poison. No range quick enough to survive with and strong enough to be feasible.

Find a Barb buddy and run Duos. Maybe try to camp someone out but im my experience they are either better, on a busted class, or get distracted and die so that's up to you idk and don't really like doing that myself unless it's a class I despise

Are you trying to reach a far region? Try East Asia (I know that sounds crazy) and see if that works.

Last night East Asia worked for 100% of the player base then eventually you'd get access back to your US region.

Here's the move I think: make max amount of characters and rank them all to at least wanderer, and one to demigod or as close as you can get. On fresh wipe trade all coin bags/rewards to the character you plan to main and you'll have a lot more space for gold not cluttering up your inventory and have a small head start

Armor provides negative speed, you need pieces with move speed and agility to counter act that. Also weapons give lots of minus move speed as well

certain items do give move speed but certain items also cost more move speed. Heavy leather leggings cost -12 move speed while loose trousers only cost -3 while at the same time come with an agility stat which can make your base move speed positive after equipping them instead of costing - move speed. They can also have +5 move speed, or +1% move speed bonus as extra roles for example on top of that which makes you even faster

Trade channel is for streaming items people are actively selling and adding the ability to haggle with them on it

Marketplace is a "post it and forget it" tool, where you post up to 10 items you want to sell and anyone can search for those and choose to buy it for the price you requested, no haggling.

Marketplace makes it far simpler to find exactly the gear you want and buy it without having to wait to trade or haggle with the seller.

EDIT: When Marketplace was intermittently working it was GREAT. Will be a huge boon to the game when its issues are sorted out

I'm perfectly fine with waiting longer on Qs or having them not fill up all the way occasionally if that means I can play any map anytime I want. It's of course going to be a little worse if you're playing the less popular maps during off peak hours like mid day on a weekday. Static? no, theres no turncap in this game, people can manipulate their swings to their hearts content

the issue is still the fact that doing 50% of your damage due to a hand hit is way too damn much

the next closet thing is 60% for legs, which is balanced since you are typically hitting them for a reason

Hands being 70% would make more sense than 50%

I don't want to be that peep that calls everything skill issue, but if you can avoid the longsword blade then you can avoid hand slapping, if you can block pvp you can avoid handslapping, if you can dodge pvp you can avoid handslapping. You already know where the weapon is coming from and the angle, the first falchion swing always comes from the attacker right and covers the head during the collision box, then the same on the second swing but is open from right swingingweapons, the felling axe always comes from above and has a huge recovery time, so you hit after you dodge or back, same for the mace and so on

The only weapons that don't cover the head at some point are daggers, rapier(still does in overhead), crystal sword, maul and zwei, all otehr weapons have significant recovery times between hits, zwei and maul are huge swinging weapons that zone you out and should be exposed, weapons with a long recovery all get head covering hits here and there.

its not the worst thing in the world, but you need time, and the early stages are difficult due to people being geared and doing reruns because its the end of the wipe, recommendation, go for blue+ loot, with the exception of 1 by 1s, take as many of those as possible as they have the most potential, mainly full your inventory with looted items (the item will either say looted or handled when looking at them, items from the dungeon will always be looted, but players can bring in items themselves, also ore gives nothing)

1k-1500 from treasure, 700-1k from props interactions, another 500-1k from the other categories combined. Funneling treasure is how we first got to 1500. Portal farming got us the first 2k run. The final strat is hidden in the props category but that can push you to 3k+.

Go in naked or in greys, use your body as a extra carry space for anything you find, that will add another 144 ap from armor if you leave with every slot of blue looted, up to 120ap from both weapon slots with bardiches, or, more usually, 108 from weapon+shield, if you somehow manage to be lucky and leave in all purples thats 240ap from armor, 60 for a purple cape, 180 from weapon+shield.

By swapping the gear you go in, then cycling it the enxt run, or just going in greys and always selling everything you'll make MUCH more ap than going kited out. I got my fighter from wanderer to excellent farming like that one afternoon.
