Yeah the quests are a little too hard to complete for them to give XP; we should have not just main questlines but sidequests for them to allow for minor quests to exist that don't reward as much but are reasonable to complete before 20. Repeatable quests are also a must (Not all of them, just special specific repeatable quests).

does the litch king quest only count for the person that gets last hit? if so theres no way im ganna get that done lol. means you gatta kill him 45x times for the team, with a 1/3 chance to spawn assuming you never wipe its ganna take forever....
implement a way to turn in quest items so it doesnt take so much inventory space to save 15 2x2 items
Probably nothing new, but a place where we can test our gear/build against a training dummy without queuing for a match. It would be very beneficial for beginners testing their sweet new weapon they have never used before or for advanced player theorycrafting/finetuning their builds.
Strip club dungeon
Add differents ways to complete a quest. for exemple the 75 skeleton kills become 75 skeleton kills OR 75 goblin kills, 15 lich kills become 15 lich kills OR 40 troll, etc. It's not funny to have to play in 3v3 mode as a solo player (especially if it's needed to go in inferno and kill a boss)
I'm pretty sure its the person who gets the last hit since all of the other quests are like that.
I'll be real, the quests should not be as demanding as they are in their current state. Those numbers need to be lowered and anything with a boss in it should only ever require them to be defeated one time.
Also got to remember a wipe is supposed to last three months. Naturally the harder ones like the Lich quest should be lowered dramatically

Unnerf Harmonic Shield, it doesn't need to go as high as before but right now it's so bad no one runs it. It's spell cost 5 when no one would think of running it at 1. If Ironmace wants it to be where it's add the song needs to be MUCH shorter; it has far too many notes for giving you less than a helmet's worth of Armor Rating. Armor Rating across the board has increased and the Shield has only decreased. Realistically it should have less notes, go down to Spell Cost 3 and go up to +30 instead of it's stupid +15 right now. Spell Cost 3 makes sense as it'd be par with Ballad of Courage which is Spell Cost 3.
Barb should gain 15 str and 15 vigor from Rage rn unless stat changes were supposed to be hard nerf for this spell

Remove the long ass duration of light orb and nerf the amount of counters to rogue, it makes no sense why every single class has a different counter to rogue.

Due to changes to core stats Races have now changes to:

This means there is never a reason to pick Elf.
Elf was harmed by the changes (Agility splitting into Agility and Dexterity) to the extent that +1 Agility -1 Strength is no longer equal and the stats should be changed on Elf to reflect that.
An easy way to fix this is to make them functionally the same as before by making Elf +1 Agility, +1 Dexterity, -1 Strength, -1 Vigor and make Orc +1 Strength, +1 Vigor, -1 Agility, -1 Dexterity.
This WOULD cause Orc to be SLIGHTLY stronger than before however as Vigor applies a buff to healing when sitting where Strength didn't before.
Otherwise it would be the same though.

Gain +5 Physical Weapon Damage when using weapons in both hands. However, you cannot equip plate armor and projectile weapons. This effect trumps Weapon Mastery.
Y'know, I think they should do to Hunting Traps what they did to Potions of Clarity. Hunting Traps are an extremely unhealthy utility item at the moment so removing them would be really great.
And now I've thought of a good idea on how to change Rogues so they don't become a nuisance to other players:

Rogue can no longer equip the Rapier due to it mitigating many of the Rogue's weaknesses and allowing for a hit-and-run strategy that is currently unhealthy for the game.
Rogue Strength is reduced to 6.
Rogue Agility is reduced to 20.[Perks]
Ambush no longer works on non-dagger weapons and no longer works with Potions of Invisibility.
Back Attack no longer works on non-dagger weapons.
Lockpick Expert now grants a +20% interaction speed toward chests.
Poison Weapon no longer works on non-dagger weapons and is changed to Poison Dagger.[Skills]
Cut Throat, Rupture and Weakpoint Attack all have buff durations of 8 seconds.
Cut Throat cooldown is increased to 24 seconds.
Weakpoint Attack now deals 20% bonus damage to the head.[New Perk - Ambidextrous]
Reduces the movement speed penalty when wielding daggers in both hands by -20%. Using both daggers in a combo grants a +10% action speed between hits.[New Perk - Elegant Hands]
Grants Rogue the ability to use Rapiers, but reduces the Dexterity rating by 5.

Been playing since PT2. I know all of the times when Rogue was highest and lowest. This is one of their higher points. The fact they have a fast recovery on Rapier hit 1 with high enough agility to make hit-and-run viable, it makes them much more dangerous than you think.
Rogue is currently not about using daggers, it's about throwing knives, short swords and rapiers alongside the Hide ability and Cut Throat. Truly not a fun class to go against at the moment.
Rogue = poke and run. Literally uncatchable as pretty much any other class, the tankier they are they easier you can kite. Nothing is worse as a barb than a naked rogue with a blue rapier and throwing knives with rupture
I know another game that had a hit-and-run playstyle for one of its characters. Everyone hated it.
Nobody likes hit-and-run because of its lack of engagement and its ability to trivialize combat.
Then play a dif class, doesnt make sense for rogues to be fast and a nuke in combat because then Barb would be outclassed by literally everyone else

Anyway, I think I got something that can solve the hit-and-run playstyle: Constitution. Adds natural physical damage reduction to characters to make fights significantly slower, and gives certain classes (let's say Barbarian and Cleric especially) the ability to approach and corner opponents.

Wiz counter barb and fighter a little bit, because of the slow and the poke with ice bolt
They also have great heal reduction with the fire mastery so they defo counters them in certain ways
after the stat change i honestly feel barbs are in the worst spot they have been in, in a long time. Cuz now we have to choose between attack speed and move speed, or health and damage, and none of the stats help near as much as they used to. Literally we are in limbo, we cant buy fran axes, cant retrieve them from people/AI we hit. fighters out damage us with falchions while being able to have crazy PDR , a 40% heal and a crossbow. Literally we are slower than ever before, have the lowest amount of defense than ever before and dont have a good stat to stack

- I'm sure many people said it, please let us turn in items before the quest is complete, to save stashspace.
- Also I think the quests could use a bit of finetuning. Farming 15 leathercaps+20 ingots and so on just seems a bit too tedious. A bit more creativity would be nice. Decrease it to 5 leathercaps and add in another quest instead for example. Also maybe quests like in Tarkov where you have to find a quest-only item at a certain spawn in a dungeon maybe?
- Why are the quests characterbound? They are already pretty tedious, and then having to do them on each character I play? That is a massive turnoff. It would be nice to able to do them with multiple characters at once.
Stashspace - With quests introduced, I think we should get easier access to stashspace. 3000gold seems easy for a skilled player, but for a casual that will take multiple days of playing to get. And just not having enough space to save quest items/extra items can turn the game in to a inventory management simulator, which is again a massive turnoff. Make it 500gold, or something in that area.
Misc - It would be nice to be able to reset a character to the starting gear again, instead of having to join a new game and leave the lobby to "reset" your starting gear. It will take pressure of your servers and make our life easier. Because when you loot green+ items in the white-only dungeons you will have to go in with missing pieces on a new run.
- Please keep the white dungeons, it really adds a nice alternative to the highroller dungeons. It could also be green-max dungeons. It would create a bit of a middleground between non-geared and geared.

Change: Felling Axe now has a new unique set of animations upon successfully hitting the attack the first time.
-The first hit will always be a downward slash, which will have a 75% reduced cooldown on hit.
-The second hit will be a horizontal leftward slash, which will have a 30% reduced cooldown on hit.
-The second hit will not trigger if the first hit misses.
Buff: Felling Axe movement speed reduction lowered to -30
Buff: Felling Axe range on the first swing is increased to better connect its hits.

Doing quests in games often helps players level up and receive support rewards, but in this game Devs seem to be used to putting their brains in when giving quests that haven't even been completed to max level 20 yet, like killing 15 mimics costs 70 open games. Chests often have a low output rate, killing goblin archers or skeleton archers takes nearly 40 games because the number of 1 map is usually very small, going to mission number 2 to kill 5 wild chickens with extremely high health and 1 map ruin is only 1. -2 chickens, not including the circle and the dogs and bows

I think fighters need a perk that allows them to convert something like 20%-30% of strength into will, or 20%-30% of PDR or AR into magic resistance. There could be a caveat on this perk (like slayer not allowing you to wear plate) that requires only plate armor and no cloth or leather to help balance perhaps.
I do feel that fighters are a well rounded, versatile class to play, but even in full purple gear coming across a grey level 1 wizard can be intimidating and I don't see how that is fair. I understand that it makes sense for fighters to be countered by a wizard/warlock, but it's too one sided, and I don't like that the counter for casters is to use a crossbow as a plate armored melee hero. I feel like ranged fighting actually takes away from the game experience too much.

Actually one of the more reasonable requests I've seen. At least he's asking for a conversion of pdr to mr and not just free mr because he's getting bullied by wizards.
The game in its current state is ass and extremely, wildly even, imbalanced. There are so many classes that outshine others. This patch is arguably one of the worst ones for Rogue. Especially after the recent buff to Wizard. We literally get two tapped by a grey kit wizard with magic missile. Not even close to being fair lmao.
Trying to get a perk for high magic resist on the class with the highest physical resist just to facetank other classes with no change to playstyle is pretty nonsense

My man , fighter is probably the best class in the game , it can beat most classes in 1v1 setting , however , it’s weakness is magic resist, and that’s fine , not every class should be good at the same things, this is what makes game original.

Like imagine if they reworked the dark swarm into an entity-like enemy that can not only multiply itself, but will chase players around either in the "storm" or once time is up. You can try to defeat it, you can defeat it, but it will get back up shortly after.
Dark swarm is what makes this game dark and darker... you want to play a farming PvE simulator, i know , cause u have written it before. If there was an offline PvE mode, thats what u would play ALL day, we are not the same DaD customer

Imagine if they reworked Dark Swarm to be akin to the Nemesis T-Type, Regeneradors or Specimen 8. Hunts you down, can go through walls, is very hard to defeat. Can't technically be killed.
I sort of doubt a removal of the Dark Swarm would change things that drastically. It's a mechanic to limit session times and push people into fights like any other BR. With the spawn distribution, most mobs are probably dead by the end of a session anyways.
You'd be buying yourself about a good minute before it comes back even stronger, faster and more vicious. Each minute you stay in the game in overtime makes it stronger, too, until it becomes overwhelming.

I personally thnk its a huge mistake to have 4 maps, each with high roller, making it a total of 8 maps.
The community is small, its like 10-15k player base, they have announced that u will be able to queue solo and duos and trios for ALL the maps.
That is effectively 15 maps, the game has 5 regions, 15 maps, but only 10-15k player base pool.
I have already gone into multiple crypts HC with only half the lobby filled, and as much as ppl hate imbalance and etc, they will hate LONG queues, and EMPTY lobbies, more then anything
I would support all the maps, and all the game mods, if the player base could sustain it, but ive played games before that died due to the number of players dropping, and them adding more game modes thinking it will help, i like DaD , would not like to see that mistake agai
They could always have a random/rotating map pool instead of having a separate queue for each map.
You do the math, 10-15k player pool, 5 world regions, 15 different game modes, that doesnt seem sustainable to me
All DaD could easily do is just interconnect every map with a huge hubworld and outdoors that is about as big as Hyrule Field...from Ocarina of Time.

If by game modes you mean player counts, they could distribute it to 6 queues and randomize the map. Maps are already randomized to an extent, so I don't think it'd be a huge change of pace.

I think one of the biggest premises of this game, is you have to play to learn the game. I think having an offline mode would be lame and hurt the game in the long run.
I think its super cool that if i wanna go for a boss, i have to learn the boss moves, and also learn to deal with players coming for the boss.
If there was offline mode, ppl could just EASILY learn the boss, because getting to the boss, and out AFTER you killed the boss would be much easier, and i think that goes against the "pain" that this game has to put u through in order to learn
Would it actually change the game, though? There's less "skill issue" to throw around since you can learn it. You can already learn it by looking up a guide on Youtube like I'm sure thousands of people have done for this game. I'd rather they get that experience through experiencing it than being given a formula.

{Normal Maps}
Normal maps now allow players from those maps to queue with players who decided to enter those maps as well.
{High Roller}
High Roller now begins whenever a player gains access to those maps. When this occurs, they will then be put into a new matchmaking pool with other players who have also entered those maps.
These maps can still be accessed through the menu, as well, but will often relegate players into the same queue as those who have already been in the dungeons to allow for interconnectivity between players and smoother matchmaking.
Im not great at the game, ive tried to kill 2 of the hell bosses perhaps 15 times, and ive never killed the boss, sometimes i cant make it to red, sometimes i get ganked mid boss fight. If there was an offline mode, i would have learned it all and i personally think it would take away from the game, but this is my opinion of fun, and fun is subjective so , i guess what im trying to say is, having a complete seperate PvE offline mode, prob would be fine for most ppl
That's how I'd improve the multiple map problem. All maps are basically the same queue. You can meet different people in each and every map as you fight to survive through the dungeons in the long run for progressively greater treasure and adventure, or you can escape with your life earlier on and keep what you've plundered.
Vulgun, they tried something like this in the last playtest, in order to get to crypts , you have to go through ruins first.
I personally loved it, but the community didnt, they didnt enjoy that the games were much longer.
And this suggestion, i personally like it, but it dont seem they trying it again, after it failed horribly ( they reversed it after less then 1 day )

My idea gives the option to players of going into the maps per level or through an overarching adventure, though. And still keeps some maps separate just so there's no...y'know...confusion.
why lol. this is just extremely stupid. especially with no way of storing extra loot, you cant even store the loot from one layer, and you want like 5.
especially splitting up gob caves for no reason. the 2 layers have a pretty crucial role on the maps. without them its extremely bad to play. for example the hr one doesnt rlly have 2 playable layers and it feels really bad due to that.
I think the developers should 100% try out this method. I think this one will actually stick with the playerbase.
Also, @graceful frost I'm going to be real with you, that's the whole point. You're not going to be able to store all the loot, but you can either leave to keep what you earned or go further and replace all your bad loot with potentially AMAZING loot.
And splitting up Goblin Caves into an Upper and Lower layer gives new players the ability to play on the simplest form of the map (the original version, which now the upper layer) without having to learn the confusion of the new ones introduced two major patches ago. And it makes the caves seem a whole lot bigger.
I think you're under-estimating how hostile and resistant to change the vocal playerbase is.

The moment they released the first alpha, people had their expectations set. They'd probably need to release a separate game under an alias to make those sort of sweeping changes without mass hysteria at this point.
Well they'd have to deal with it. I've had my share of complaints about the game but I've accepted many of its changes, good or bad. If people can't accept a change that would probably make the game a lot better of an experience, then that's on them, not the game itself.
what is the point of going multiple layers if you cant loot anything? I dont see the reasoning to have to suffer through 3 floors and a 30-40 minute game while your inventory is full the entire time.
Also the "simplest" form of goblin caves does not make it the best. It will have the exact same issue as inferno where whoever spawns in zone wins, cause they just hold everyone out of zone. And it would be scaled up a ton cause of all the most players

~Make each grade gear have limit rolls Example: Greens +1-4 Blue +2-6 Purple +4-8 Legendary +6-10 (for skill rolls as example such as weapon damage or armor rating)
~Create a highroller for duos if they are going to keep duos
~Make fighters unable to get 2nd wind back from campfire
~Make Barbarians Rage increase damage and health instead of move speed
~Make rogues invisiblity flat 30 seconds no matter what
~Give rangers a buyable quiver at the cost of movement speed
~Give different tiers of backpacks that account for retrievable loot, the bigger the pack the more movement speed reduction
~Make a battle royal map/mode that you cannot bring loot into your stash for those players that specifically expect a loot and extraction game to be a battle royal so they stop bitching
~Make it so you need gear of green or higher to enter highroller to give incentive to players to progress before entering the highroller dungeons or just raise cost as previously suggested

@dawn grotto @keen onyx In my opinion, the balance of classes its good now too. Now they should develop a better trade system or a faster way to get items to gear up. Now the main discouraging issue its to re-gear after death, at least for HR. Maybe the way is to buff base gear to be competitive, like u dont need to get gear to make some builds viable (magical healing build for warlock), and nerf the gear u obtain to only get slight benefits from it. This way people dont rely too much on gear or spending hours in trade chat.

Anyone else think GC HR has a bit to many enemies in some spots of the map? Like as a solo map and greens being lowest gear there, its quite a struggle to get through some of just the spawns.
We for sure need side quests, not just mainline quests and repeatable simple quests (Side quests and repeatable quests shouldn't give Affinity).
Leather Cap quest "Lost Daughter" needs to be revised to allow you to turn in 1x Leather Cap at a time. Tried to turn in one since they are so damn hard to find and the quest giver wants me to turn in 15x all at the same time which is absolutely insane.

As a fighter player, been thinking about how to make the crossbow meta less frustrating, curious what people think about this
Option 1: Increase the strength of swift BUT: the perk makes you unable to use projectile weapons, even if taking weapon master you are locked out of all bows and crossbows
Option 2: This is the same idea, just applied differnetly, and im unsure if the current system has the capability of this, but make it to where taking sprint locks you out of crossbows.
Fighters should still have the option for ranged, but this allows people to opt in to a playstel t hey prefer, either use range but have lower rushdown potential, or improve your rushdown while giving up neutral pressure. I think its an interesting decision that isnt just removing the crossbow from the class.
I get the Devs want the game to be slow paced but the zone closing makes that impossible, especially in high roller. So here's my suggestion and I would love to know what everyone thinks. @dawn grotto & @keen onyx , eliminate zone closing and get rid of most portals only leaving like 1 -3 that can spawn anywhere on the map to try and stray off campers. Leave the game timer it can be anywhere from 15-30mins. Leave staircases on the map but don't allow them to be seen on minimap and get rid of the feature that they disappear if someone takes them. Have them completly randomize on where they can be on the map so people can't just check normal spots. Players are now allowed to play at a slower pace and strategize on fights or room clears without worrying about zone. Players still need to be cautious about time though and make sure they can naigate the dungeon and find the staircase down or even up. I know y'all like to see people in hell so you can even increase down stairs and minimize up stairs. Once the timer is up all stair cases are sealed and players can be given a very fast moving zone and attempt to find a portal if there are any left, or you can just fill the rooms with the swarm and kill them instantaneously it is up to you. Please read this and I hope you give this a thought.

@lament marlin i think a big issue with allowing uncommons is that the enchantment system as is right now, one good enchantment makes a weapon vastly better than any other weapon.

Removing trade along with the requirement to go into "high rollers" with gear above common will make it so gold sellers will need to go into a HR dungeon to conduct business, giving us a chance to kill them.
Removing trade will have the side effect of making good gear you find useless if you and none of your friends use that class. So there should be a "salvage" option for gear that will give crafting materials depending on item properties, item rarity, item type, item name, etc.
Also you wont be able to safely send gear to your friends. So we should get a lot more storage so we can hold onto good gear for our friends without taking up all the storage room.```

80% of these suggestions have been talked about by SDF and Terry in the last couple Q&A's and Podcasts, you guys need to do some research and watch OnePeg and Somo's podcasts.
Defeats the purpose of the game being a loot and extract and turns it into a battle royal, it's supposed to be like tarkov, i will say the trading system sucks and but changing the gear in that way would make it meaningless to get better gear in a game all about getting better gear and filling your stash with it. If they removed trading all together and made the items worth more to merchants that would help the hours of trading and get rid of the kids getting the best set by waiting 10 hours in a trader slowly plucking everything therefore forcing youu to physically find it.
Must be looking in the wrong places in HR if you're making less than 200g, I walk out with at least 100g-200g only taking colored loot and sell the gear I find for a total of 300g-700g easy

We have to be allowed to hand in quest items one at a time. 15 campfire kits and leather hats is already just weird (not hard to do just weird so many required) but they also are items that take up 4 slots. my inventory is full of em and im at 2292 gold grinding for that extra tab. Please let us have quest hand in's one at a time

Change arrows to a internally tracked value like spell slots instead of an object in the inventory, it feels so unfun to go into a dungeon and have to compromise your looting just because you don't want to leave on a shortage of arrows.
Warlock killing 1 person with 1 hit is not enough, Devs also add 2 effects that reduce damage by 15% and healing speed by 70%. In normal lobby, Warlock still kills 1 player with 1 hit, but if he encounters a Bar or fighter, his damage will be reduced by 15%. Damage and lose 70% health with 1 hit
The people who make this game don't use intelligence, Quests give away Exp before completing 20 levels, rewards are meager, the quest to find 5 legendary gems to win a money box is almost a waste of time. , the task of killing 15 Wisp in a map with only 2-3 Wisp takes nearly 50 games, the task of finding materials or items is almost a self-finding mode, not for buying because the items are divided into 2 types: handle and Looted turns the trader into a place that exists like air

I would really like the option for a Ruins and Crypts game mode for solos, no teams. Right now the quests force you into these two maps and for someone that is newer to the game and plays solo 95% of the time, it is not very fun.

The amount of kills for the Lich quest is absolutely ridiculous. Like, why not make the quests a little bit less tedious and just have more of them?
It's not like they're technically hard to make, since they are either Slay or gather quests.
But having to stockpile 15 hats, and 15 campfires in your stash when you dont have any room usually is an odd choice.
Just make it 5 campfires, give smaller rewards, and make more quests.
Especially with the Lich. Killing him once for some people is difficult, especially in my group where we suck ass, and now that normals dont allow gear means we cant really try on Normals without getting lucky drops in gear during our run.

And it would FEEL better to have a quest to slay the "Lich 0/1", actually getting that kill the first time with a quest would feel better than a 1/15 lmfao.

I dont know if its in the works but it would be awesome to have different splash art for the new rings. IIRC strengh, dex, vigor, and knowledge rings all share the original strength ring splash and it can get confusing when quick looting.
Require more XP to level up so that questing and leveling are on the same pace.. i’ve already hit level 20 and not even completed one quest on less than 20 games. Did it in two days. In my opinion it should take around one to two weeks to hit level 15 if you’re going to have season be 90 days.

Done with this game until they nerf high roller minions or at least lower their movement speed. They need to be toned down; it's bad enough I have to deal with kitted players everywhere but then I have to deal with minions that can run at nearly twice the speed of me even when i have sprint. I cant go into normals with gear so im stuck having to do high roller. The damage increase from normal minions to high roller minions is WAAAAAY too drastic. I understand high roller needs to be difficult, but around half the time it just feels straight up unfair and poorly designed. I went into high roller with an all green vigor kit with some of the rolls being even more max health and some strength. I had a purple longsword with double damage rolls and +5 max health and I was STILL having trouble getting through minions whether it was because they were tanking and sprinting away from me at twice my speed, running me down at insane speeds while I'm dealing with players. or hitting me for nearly a third of my health(poison not included). Keep in mind I had 131 HP. PvE is just too powerful right now

with the reload speed of windlass I agree that it should be increased, it literally holds you still while reloading too so if u miss a single shot its extremely damaging. The biggest issue is that when people do use windlass they just havel ike 4 and swap between them to shoot 4 times in rapid succession

Can Fighter receive perks supporting longsword/spear/halberd similar to how slayer promotes dual wielding style? these weapons are all incredibly punishing on your base speed while swinging and its silly that Fighter is only viable with realistically only one-two weapons in their roster.
Add class passives and enable more build diversity:
Rogue - Lockpicking (or hidden pockets)
Barbarian - Can break chests and doors
Fighter - Can equip all weapons (-% power for non-fighter specific)
Wizard - Rest is Meditation (we're almost there already...)
Ranger - Detect recent footsteps / Enhanced hearing?
Warlock - Small % Life steal vs. cursed targets
Cleric - Requiem (rez with higher hp & 0 cost), or Holy Aura (armor/magic res talent)
Bard - 50% faster swapping between weapons and utility items
also tweak longswords slowdown on swing. currently you parry and most people can easily backpedal out of the riposte before the animation even begins. whats the point of the gimmick if its very difficult to land after parrying.

That’s just one big problem of this game right now. I haven’t even mentioned how they completely fumbled the quest system. You need 15 camp fires for one quest and 15 leather caps for another. Those aren’t even the worst ones, they get more and more rediculous. So basically, fuck your stash, you have to fill it with stuff you cant use. Trade chat use is at an all time low because people are tired of sitting in there for hours and hours. If you put this on steam in its current state right now then it would be forgotten within a week.

Teaming in goblin caves should be entirely banned, I don't care for mutual "I don't cares" and walking away from each other, but when I'm playing the game in a SOLO environment I want to deal with players in the same way. It's complete and utter bullshit when I'm playing the ranked equivilant of a game and I run into a three man cleric, fighter and rogue combo. They can't communicate but even so it's far stronger then me a solo who decided to actually play the SOLO goblin caves as a SOLO.

You can say it’s a skill issue to validate your ego, but that doesn’t mean you’re right. Many people I’ve played with complain about the movement speed of HR minions. If you choose to attack them with a longsword or war maul you’ll be slowed down enough to where they can catch and hit you since they’re quick in not only movement but attack speed as well. You want to hit them with a decent arming sword or viking sword? You have to hit them 3-5 times in the head. But be quick about it because they will sprint away at nearly twice the speed of you when they’re weak. Sometimes in a direction of another goblin or a group of them. Basically you need all blues or all purples with good rolls to even properly deal with this shit. If you don’t then you wont be able to properly progress through or have barely any time to loot anything. This type of difficulty should be used for high roller hell not normal high roller. Especially if they want to keep it free.
Big facts. Trying to run it with anything less than blue is terrible. But thats not even including the other players you have to worry about too. This testing phase for something no one seemed to ask for is just an awkward moment as who at iron mace thinks you can run hr with just green gear?
The fact I have to waste my time mining for 15 cobalt and 15 ruby ingots just to turn them for shit rewards is Obsurd, I could’ve used the ingots to craft way better gear than the shit stuff they give you
That’s the other thing, the fucking players. After you’re done dealing with a whole group of minions. You’ll have a someone in the next room(typically a rouge) ready to come in and 3rd party you when you’re weak. Just lower movement and health of HR minions.
They should make it be way better gear or lower the amount you need to mine. Some classes are objectively bad at mining so making it cost so much to do it for a random chance is a pretty awful design choice.
Even if you do manage to fight back theyll just run away throwing their 100 knives at you.

They are just showing how bad they are at designing ranged things. Bolas are meant to be thrown at your legs yet the goblins throw them head to chest height. If they were leg level atleast that would add a way to deal with them by jumping over their shots. Then with how theyve been handling rangers. Now its just the throwing meta where barbarians and rogues bring 100 throwables.

Solo PvE is way harder than trio or duo PvE. Of course you feel like it’s easy you don’t have to deal with as much poison, or looking out for yourself as much since you have teammates who can watch your back. Goblins have more health than skeletons, deal as much or nearly the same damage, and they have poison. This is why the group players think the game is fine and why solos think it’s become a broken mess. It’s not even the classes it’s the pve that makes it near impossible unless you have a camp fire, surgical kit, explosive bottles, 3 health potions, and 3 bandages. not having one of these things is a detriment to playing solo.

nothing call skill issue here , There is no first quest that requires players to spend 40-50 matches, sometimes 70-100 matches if the first quest is unlucky, cco1 when the first quest is not completed, the level is maxed, the reward quests gives 100-200 gold like giving alms to beggars, Exp is 75-100 which is almost useless because of max level, the following mission 65 takes more than a hundred battles, there are some missions that can take more than 1 thousand battles or even impossible do

So let's try to answer how long the quest to kill 15 times a lich or ghost king takes based on the situation that the whole lobby hunts together, the monsters under the red gate are not weak, and the quest to find 4 gems of different types must all be legendary types and You have to find it yourself and don't trade it because the item has 2 modes: looted and handled, so you probably won't be able to do it after 90 days. Playing games for fun or to torture yourself
It's true that the mission can still be done, but it's not like a mission, it's more like a type of fighting and killing each other to complete, like the mission to kill 15 wisp, the map only has 2-3 wisp in the ruin, the whole lobby is aiming. come, the spawn angle is always bad. I keep dying and going into battle continuously just to have a good angle to run out and kill 15 monsters, which takes 50 matches, and tasks like farming 30 blue ingots and red ingots, or 15 gold bars , are you sure you always bring it's back

I'm color blind and have issues differentiating lich's purple and blue circle. Can a color blind mode be added or change animation effect with the circle pulsing outwards to spread away from the player or circle pulsating inwards to indicate moving closer together
idk you gain abou 200 per run spend about 30 on weapons you like so its like 17 normal goblin runs or about 10-15 hr ones.

they should add an "aim" mechanic so arrows are not 100% accurate 100% of the time. moving should make accuracy worse and weapons like the longbow you shouldn't be able to move at all while drawing
why though. there is litterally no reason for this, especially with hitscan spells already existing and just being stronger than arrows.
Bows really arent that strong especially compared to things like wizard, and when they get hard countered by any sort of pdr.

because range overall is a problem in this game. it's to easy to just sit back and have little to no consequence lobbing any sort of range item. i'd even say add some level of inaccuracy to spell casting while moving. moving and aiming shots should be discouraged instead of making it the single strongest playstyle in the game.
tbh explosion does headshot fireball dmg but with much less skill, i think it needs the chain lightning treatment with the tier 6 spell thing + 3 charges bc double explo is a insta kill, sorta like a double fireball headshot is or say a double chain

Removing more skill and adding more rng is not what the game needs, it already has so little skill
I'm not saying they need to remove 100% accurate shots entirely. Only when moving or just adding some level of crosshair stabilization to space out shots and reward those who plan their range game vs. those who just run around and spam shots all the time. I know CS:GO is a completely different game but would you consider the fact that you need to stand still to shoot accurately as something that removes skill from the game? If anything it raises the skill ceiling but still enables those panic shots with less consistent reward.

Don't know what gave you that implication. When I'm not messing around with pickpocket rogue im usually playing fighter longsword because parry is fun. I have played every class and I will say that adding range to any class makes it the easiest and most boring experience for me personally. I don't think range needs to be removed because people like you need a crutch to play the game. I just think the skill ceiling should be raised so people don't have to deal with retreat rangers or corner blasting fighters all the time.

I don't think it's even very good at the high end tbh - Rogue outperforms it as a speed-DPS and the buffs don't really mean anything against competent teams.

The melee pvp has no depth or skill involved. At least ranged takes more skill and has more counterplay compared to hold click
When the shield and high level parries are involved it starts becoming less of a stat check - you can win without taking a hit
Usually the spacing and swing timing can give you an edge, but only 1-2 hits of advantage in the typical face to face skirmish
Ok I see where I went wrong. I'm trying to debate someone who has no experience playing games like this. Melee takes way more planning and skill expression than you realize so I recommend spending some time getting good at the main focus of the game before you spout a worthless opinion and waste everyone's time.

A sweetspot mechanic would be a good idea tbh. Inaccurate near the beginning with a sweetspot in the middle that gradually degrades the longer you hold.
They should really go back to the beginning of last wipes format. There were issues, but most of these new design choices have been far worse. Then you could get gear without much of a grind, and actually use it freely atleast. Now it's a grind to be forced into loosing it to HR mobs and rogues.
Why did they think that making the game grind heavier and so limiting would be better for more people like casual players? I can see instantly that there have been less people on by the que times before and after the mmr system, and the number of people trading.

Shields are used more for pve and dr than actually in pvp. And longsword is not used at higher level.

Knowing what weapon you are up against and how it swings is crucial to be able to win against it

These suggestions are made to make Fighter a significantly more balanced class in the whole of the game and makes it so that they have to create newer and more experimental builds with their kit rather than defaulting to 2 builds and a crossbow.

Magic Resistance really needs to start being brought back. No way should a naked Wizard kill a geared class in 2 spells.
A full plate Fighter should die to magic damage... because said Fighter has omega high PDR from wearing plate armor. Same with Clerics if they choose to wear full plate for the PDR. What shouldn't be possible is someone stacking 75% of both PDR and MDR, leaving them with no weaknesses. A naked Wizard killing a full PDR Fighter is fine, and is part of the natural balance trinity.

Same reason a fully geared Wizard can still get 2-shot by a Rogue with little-to-no gear as well - just because someone is geared doesn't mean they should be invincible, especially not to their natural counter.

rangers have been nerfed so many times, they aren't even remotely close to as busted as they were a year ago on the steam play tests.
lower the dmg of magic staffs and keep the crystal sword more focused for melee combat then the staff the staffs at the moment hit way to hard expecially by a warlock most green staffs out dmg most blue and some purple weapons for comparison a white crystal sword hits for 12 weapon 10 magical for a total of 22 but a white staff (swings nearly twice as fast) hits for 29 weapon 7 magical and has a lower movement speed negative

PUBG has a cool 3rd party website called PUBGReport which automatically generates clips when someone who is streaming either gets a kill, or is killed. It can be funny just for viewing reactions if you notice you killed a streamer, it can also be fun for content creation in making reaction compilations and that sort of thing. It would be super cool if some sort of feature like this was available for DaD. I would also love to see some sort of replay system. i always love being able to watch replays of my good (or bad) games in PUBG. Especially being able to watch from enemy perspectives.

GOLD ORE should be added to HR INFERNO: This is the highest risk zone in the game with the hardest mobs. Having gold here would encourage more people to enter hell and result in increased PVP and hotspots other than just the boss, causing more chaos.
Pretty silly that the best way to earn money in the game other than getting lucky on an artifact is inside a white gear only lobby, with a single gold ore outweighing your entire gear+med+campfire cost even if you’re decked out with merchant purchases.
When I read that gold was added to the game in patch notes I thought it was a no brainer it would be found in HR Hell. It doesn’t even need to be a HR crypts exclusive, but it should definitely be added: especially with the extreme cost of the gold craftables and 20 ingot quest.

id say not a big deal for clerics as, well since they only use maces and shields and almost nothing else, cause the only other two weapons are no where near good enough for a slow moving cleric. (( for real, give cleric more weapons to use, Mace's are too slow and everyone and their rogue mother knows how to dodge it now ))
But fighter, able to use all weapons and most armor, kinda hard to kill even in normal since they can be kinda stacked right from the start.

This is more of a visual thing than gameplay wise but I quite like how every class has it's own human model, it feels a bit weird that we can buy a race and then be locked to just that one single model. I think it would be nice if other races would also change their looks slightly depending on the class (please tell me if I'm wrong, I've only bought the Orc so far)

Is there a vote for cross progress in a mean of quests? I think we need cross progress to the quest system through all the characters (I know there is a exp like a reward but the rewards have to be rebalanced anyways) so this might be a good improvement to allow players who enjoy doing quests and in the same time wants to play different team comps and roles with friends
The idea sounds good but I think there are a few issues with the concept.
without a circle that closes in on a location, it would be harder for players to find each other the circle becoming smaller and smaller forces players to already make a risk-taking decision, extract as soon as you find a portal even if the circle is still big or risk finding other strong players when the circle is small and everyone is fighting over the last portal.
I think it might work as a game mode / separate map but not as the default for the game
I suggest putting time into new content, stop holding streamers in such high regard. Stop the merch until you get an actual game together.
Please set the quests to be completed by the team, for example if I as a cleric are in a team of 3 people and the quests like killing litch or killing class players specifies to be completed by team partners, since I'm usually huffing the team and not fighting.

Make the Pathfinder skin guaranteed once your highest rank in the season is Pathfinder. Why? I have no reason to ever touch my character again in fear of having a stroke of bad luck and losing all my Adventure Points.

Find a way to make quests global to your account and not to a single character. The game is discouraging you to play other classes because the quest grind is very time consuming.

What i hate is that they also nerfed barbs health build up. Previously up between 10-50 str we were getting 2 health. Now the sum of Str+Vigor is represented by Str in the chart, meaning we have a sum base of 55 Attributes which means for each 1 str + 1 vigor we get 1 hp instead of 2. This means other classes can build up Max HP easier than barbs as well since barbs already are in the soft cap area. Please adjust this.

I just died with the best set ive ever had and i've been playing since Steam. Please fix mobs glitching through doors. I just had 2 black spiders glitch through stone door in hell and I died because of it, I didnt only lose a set with a neck that had +6 magical +6 physical dmg. I also lost a rapier with +6 physical +5 magical dmg with 31 base. I lost a set I was hitting for 98dmg a swing. I lost 100hours of gameplay, not to a misplay, not to strategically losing a fight or dying to mobss, I died to a faulty glitch. Glitches are bad for the community for many reasons, one of those is morale, if players lose morale due to bugs and glitches they need fixed. I'd suggest just making doors in general blockable by mobs so mobs cant hit through them, Axeman and Guardsman hit thru doors all the time, Wraith can still glitch through doors and that's not been fixed. No mob should be able to glitch through stone doors, I'm not a streamer my voice will probably never be heard, I don't record my gameplay, but I'm pathfinder rank 2. I really love competitive games, I want this to be a esport ready, but they need to fix the most important game ending glitches first, ones that negate player creativity, stratedgy and just make the game overall unenjoyable for those that are effected by them. Please fix this glitch Ironmace.

It would be nice to have this "dark souls like" lore in DaD where you can read item descriptions about the lore, stories, clues etc. That way it would enrich the world a lot more. Have certain areas where there are stories behind it that is maybe related to the quest chain or in particular lore in DaD universe. Food for thought.

Honestly, Hunt seems to be the shining beacon of extraction-based games. But for some reason, so many extraction devs refuse to follow the good ideas established by hunt. Teammates helping with quests, damage feedback on death, etc.

I think a neat suggestion would be a "most wanted" or "Bounty" System to where the more times you escape in the row the higher your "bounty: will be. The higher your bounty the higher AP you get for escaping. If you get the bounty kill you get bonus AP. JUst a suggestion.

start running a clipping software that will clip the previous 5 mins so that if you get teamed on again you can do something abt it, 5 mins should be small enough to not take up a ton of space and still get the jist of what your trying to clip and report
does any wizard really use the crystal sword to cast magic i never see anyone using it for that the main reason everyone grabs it so they can take out enemies without using spells so why don't they remove the ability to cast on it cuz i feel a staff and book and crystal ball is good enough and perhaps instead they could make you able to block with the sword or if you want to take it a step further you could allow crystal sword to parry but not as strong as a longsword very much less damage when pulled off or just create a new secondary action you can do that's new and not in the game make something up i just don't see the point in ever using the sword to cast when i got a book or staff id rather have a different function for the sword

We should consider making copper ore a 1x1 inventory space. That helps incentivize mining it, otherwise it isn't necessarily worth the hastle - 50g for 4 slots w/ a serious time commitment isn't likely to draw miners. If green becomes more relevant, it might help some, but not enough

Second time I've made it to final circle in HR GC and opened a portal to extract and I die instantly when extracting. I've sent two emails, messaged admins, tech support, and apprentices with multiple bugs and issues like this one. No response... Guess there's no reason to help QA.

Please change "Never Give Up" Quest from the leathersmith. Make it 4 Wolf Pelts. 15 is beyond difficult and requires on average 500 wolf kills.
If you get the best wolf spawn and kill 6 wolves a game, that's nearly 83 ruins runs. Realistically, this would be around 200+ runs

All the races with genders should be collapsed into 1 gender each and follow the gender of your character (What I mean by collapsed into 1 as in you buy the Elf Race not Female Elf Race) OR allow you to change your characters gender after character creation (I noticed that you can be a female elf and have male voice lines if you picked male for yor character).

What is it going to take to make a steam realease? I have multiple friends that all would buy in a heartbeat if it was on steam, but they are just uninterested before that... I cant rly see why we are not pushing for steam release. Looking at statistics the player base was three time as big, during the steam playtest

An example of this, allow us to turn in 1 campfire at a time so we can turn them in as we find them rather than having to make stash room for 15 2-2 campfires. This makes it nearly impossible to do the quest until I have grinded 3k gold to buy a second stash. Love ya Iron Mace, Cheers.

Surely 2 seconds wouldn't make it overpowered if it was considered a perk. Still, I'd say Ironmace should test it out and see how it works out. Better yet, Life after Death could be something you get from Training.
2 seconds is incredibly overpowered because the effect is literally to deny death.
We already saw how overpowered it was when barbs got the blood exchange + achilles combo, becoming literally unkillable and rushing down opponents.

Yes, in a straight fight it's just a walking nuclear power. Yet, I would thing that it's not that powerful if in trios people know what they're doing. I'd say let other players know with a sound cue that Barbarian has activated Life after Death so they know how to respond to that.
It isn't just about the 2 seconds. It's every second prior to those 2 seconds. If a barb knows they literally WILL not die the first time their hp reaches 0 they can rush in with absolute reckless abandon even moreso than the class normally would. When you mix that with buffs from bard/cleric/wizard or hell at this point even power of sacrifice and bloodstained blade from warlock given they literally CANNOT die. This change would ABSOLUTELY bolster the existing buffball meta to a maximum it has never seen before.
I think it's healthier for the gamestate if there are no solo-only maps, and it would force the devs to actually balance things in a more symmetrical way that takes all players into account. Currently goblin caves players are mostly ignored when it comes to balance changes.
Sure, right now it could be devasting advantage over others. On the other hand, there's the upcoming Class Training option that could potentially give classes advantages over others that may or may not be game breaking. In my opinion, Life after Death should be an option for Barbarians to use once per match. We're still at EA and there are a lot of things that are coming to DaD. Why not test these insane theories and see if they can be altered/changed or removed completely? I'd say let Ironmace test EVERYTHING!
The game being in a testing phase is not an excuse to do absolutely insane and unhinged things.
What they did with norms becoming timmy queue and HR becoming norms is an example of a drastic change they could test... what you are suggesting is a complete disregard for balance in the name of testing.
If training makes every character stronger there is a possibility to consider it, but even with class training your change is on the absolute extreme end of changes given that it is literally a unique weapon effect that currently exists in the game. My expectation though is that they may end up taking away base class features and locking them behind 'class training' as they have done in the past when they've made expansions. (Quest affinities just take existing merchant items and lock them behind quests, the new 'big luck potion' was just the old small luck potion which got nerfed)

True but at the same time there is alot of players who only play solo since they dont want to deal with buff ball. I do think right now 1vs1 fights are the most fun personally.
As I've said in the past, I think this is a 'pandora's box' situation. They opened the floodgates by allowing solo and duo only maps, I think it will be rather hard for them to eliminate this as a concept overall without losing a ton of players, but guess we'll just have to see what they do.
My son you are not understanding, with the new training system you will start out as a torso with no limbs and only a head. You must train to be able to gain access to those limbs, if you are happy as a snake then you may slither to your heart's content.
Like I know alot of people who do garbage in trios and great in solos, my friend only plays goblin caves for that reason and doesnt want to do duos or trios at all.

Can we please merge some rogue perks? Theres too many doing nothing or being overshadowed by essential perks like stealth+hide. Here some examples:
Creeper/stealth/hidden pockets = [Stealth Mastery] - You make less noise when crouch walking and can move 10 steps while under Hiding. Also, Item worn in utility slots do not appear on the waist. (Also, Creeper could also reduce sounds when opening a door/chest)
Ambush/Thrust/shadow runner = [Deadly Ambush] - After leave invisibility you gain +15% move speed, 20% Armor Pen. for the next 3 seconds. And +50% Physical damage on your next attack.

Ambush is powerful on its own as is shadow runner (and thrust just got buffed so might be good on its own)
These are just examples, too far to be balanced/good.

With the new trap disarming kits and with training speculated to allow either new perks or doing cross perks IE. Ranger with poisoned weapon for poison arrows. I wonder if eventually we can boobytrap chests by putting an item into the inventory and closing it again, giving it a maybe similar install speed of a hunting trap or a couple seconds longer. like if you take 2-4 explosives bottles you can craft into a boobytrap that could only be placed in chests. would give more purpose to reclosing the chests
I really enjoy this idea of merging every trading post together but maybe adding another filter where you can choose items that only work for a desired class would be very useful now

Can we please have the prerequisite of most vendors' first quests removed please (the one where you have to complete Mimics and Money)? That quest has been bugged for some people (not fixed) and cannot be completed due to its progress randomly getting reset after runs.

ngl the quest system feels pretty unengaging. e.x. a quest to find 15 leathers caps feels more like busy work than anything and its not something you can really focus on, you just hope you find a ton of storage filler. hope they get adjusted to something a bit more targetable in the future

i'd love to see some type of practice mode for newer players or a story mode the game is fair and unforgiving cause anything can kill you if you're not aware. It reminds me of the souls games. a singleplayer/co-op storymode would be awesome

i think not more forgiving unless they just took away loot, but maybe a pve only mode with slightly worse loot? i honestly like the pve (except goblins, screw goblins), but am just not good at PVP in this game
well i think it really depends cause if it's a straight path storymode then i'm unsure if you should be able to take loot out into the lobby at all and just have it separate to the storymode and maybe make unlockables when you complete it such as skins or an emote or something like that. It'd be cool to see a couple different game modes though like some type of story mode and a straight up pve mode where you can learn the map, not lose loot, but you can't bring the loot found in the map besides like a daily gold or potion that you could get from playing it
