There were def people who liked the PvP aspects of Ruins & loved farming free AP for Demi, esp when there was map rotation. Or playing Ranger/Rogue and sitting in cheese parkour spots for free loot.

Yeah, they stripped goblin maze + goblin town modules sadly. There still might be some in Ant's nest but I never farm there. It's pretty much only Goblin Mine then 3-4 ores in the middle.

They gain Armor & HP but do low damage and takes 1% of their HP every second. If you can stall the fight they will keep getting chipped, if you can deal more DPS & heal, you'll win.

If you're faster and can make it to doors/trap them/invis mobs onto them you win. Their only power play is an ability that lets them heal w/ each hit for 4s & bolts of darkness. They slow on hit so if you get caught by one hit you cannot escape and getting hit back to back is what kills you. Keep moving and hit them as they transform, dps check or block and stall

That does not sound intentional, not only does it basically allow a 5th perk to be equipped, but it also removes the 10% spellcasting speed penalty since you don't actually have the perk anymore. I would need to verify it for myself before I report it but if you have gotten it to function as you describe it, I would seriously consider submitting a bug report

the elite Wendy only has 150 more health and a good gear set more than makes up for that
biggest concern is going to be other players and I find HR lobbies to be more aggressive
if you're not worried about having to kill a few parties while you farm, just go for HR
either way, drop rates are the same so it really comes down to your PvP skill and how much high value gear you use

There is curerntly no crafts for either, only quest rewards.

Golden powder is the most liquid for low-end storage. People will almost never accept it in that form, but it is used often to craft golden gear. If Ruins is added or gold ore is added to new maps, the price will fall. It can stack up to 5 per slot though, so great low-end storage per powder.

Golden Key is the low-end tradeable. It is hardly used for 1 quest that most people will not do and is given as a quest reward. If they make coin bags/chests harder to get this will rise, otherwise it will stay stable/fall.

~750-1250g

Gold Coin Bag will hold gold for you, and be used for mid-level+ trades easily. It's price is most stable as everyone wants it all of the time. It's typically better to trade this for GKeys and liquidate the Gkeys as needed if you really need the gold. Always a solid investment.

~4,500-6,000g

Skull Key is the ultimate high-end tradeable. If you want to buy BiS/Chests then this is what you need. Hardest to liquidate, deep gold storage.

~16,000-20,000g

Gold Coin Chest is the ultimate gold storage. It holds 10,000g and will be worth more than your entire stash until you're really rich. Nothing smaller than this can buy Named items unless you're they're the worst named of the bunch. Will have to manually sell for Skull Keys + Coin Bags if you're unfortunate enough to liquidate.

Golden Ingot is largely useless and not worth investing in.

Potion of Luck is liquid gold, not too efficient but you can sell it back for what you bought if for near instantly (+like 5-15g most times).

Lockpick can give you a tiny bit of storage if you're really desperate for a small amount of room. It's ~50g and stacks to 3 so 3x as efficient as purses.

Troll's Blood is the highest-end consumable that gets bought quite often. Will fluctuate a bit, but decent storage: 300+ per slot. ~600-750g

Troll Pelt can be considered for a budget ~3,000g that's pretty quick to sell. But spend the little extra on a bag and it'll hold gold too. Could be useful to store 3k for a day tho then flip it or farm wolf pelts.

If it's >-9 MS, that is 3%+ MS. Each 3 MS is 1%.
You can def get away but it's a last resort as if you mistime it, you are getting hit for more as you dequip. If they haven't used Sprint / Rage / Archiles yet they'll also catch you anyways.

If you don't have an escape plan (way to quickly open doors/already laid traps/allies) it's quite risky. If you're calm it can save you tho. Watch out for proj/spells as you run tho, don't turn your back on them.

the multiclass works so that a character with lvl 35 gets a learning token and another after each 10 levels (until lvl 100 or 150 when it becomes i think every 20 lvls). A learning token can be used to learn a perk, ability or spell from another class that is atleast lvl 30. When using a learning token, u get a choise of 3 random perks, abilities or spells from that class and you get to choose one

Gear score in HR is 0-299 & 300+ it does not care about your rank at all. If you go in with a party, the total score is added up and divided among party members (so if 1 person brings 500 and another brings 50, you will be put in the lower bracket).

All items that can be equipped have a gear score value. Items that say "Gear Slot: Invalid" do not count towards gear score (arrows, coin purse, treasure).

Wizard's melt/fire mastery works on all fire spells that leave a burning debuff.

Wizard: Ignite, Zap, Explosion Fireball
Warlock: Flamewalker, Hellfire, Demon Form fire.

When you multiclass, spells get slotted into your "spell library". You can use these spells on any character's "Spell Memory" or learn spell memory for any caster.

You are free to make a wheel of all 3 different caster's spells. But it is expensive shardwise, you need to get the exact spells you want while filtering through the class's perks + skills too.

Damage is complicated to get the exact number but for an oversimplified version:

1. Hold the weapon in your hand and open your inventory, at the bottom left, click "view stats" and scroll down. At the bottom it will tell you how much damage that weapon is doing across the whole combo.

2. Depending on where you hit the player, it will do varying damage.

Head = 150% damage - Headshot Deduction | Chest = 100% damage | Limb = 50% damage

3. You will then subtract the players "Physical Damage Reduction" (PDR) from that damage. You can view that towards the middle of the stats sheet. The damage will be reduced by that %.

4. Where you the weapon hits the player matters, bigger weapons have "sour spots" that so less damage. Daggers are nearly the only exception.

5. If the server declares you dead, even if you hit the player on your screen, the hit will not register.

The training dummy takes ~13% more damage than someone with 0% PDR and if you're hitting head, that's an additional 50% compared to chest hits against real players.

Unless you're hitting head everytime w/ buffs, you are dealing about half the damage you deal to the dummy's head to real players.

Skull Key can give you a named item, so it is used as bartering when buying BIS. Gkey can be used to loot a pile 10 times on 1/6 Crypts maps and given out for free as a quest reward. With the addition of Ice Caverns, you can loot that same pile w/o a key w/o killing any mobs.

Gkey simply isn't useful anymore. Mystical Gem is more consistent and that pile can drop named items too.

Seoul is notorious for having some of the best players in the world & few cheaters, med-high pop, really competitive.
I don't know anything about Tokyo, I assume it's low-med pop.
Singapore is filled with cheaters & teamers to an absurd degree.
Sydney is very dead servers, free farming if you're into PvE.

In my limited opinion (only have ~30 hrs on Brazil servers), it's probably the best severs to learn the game on. There doesn't appear to be nearly as many try-hards and a lot of casuals in the US take the ping disadvantage just to play there.

Where can I change graphics settings, without starting the game? A config file is what I'm looking for, but I can't seem to find it. I crashed mid-game, and am now crashing on startup every time. Can't get to the main menu. Already verified game files. Tried -dx11 launcher option.

In case people have similar problems:

Fixed the issue without a full reinstall. In the extreme off case someone else has an issue like this, here's what I did:

Backed up the file: DungeonCrawler\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings.ini, as I didn't want to have to redo all my keybinds and such.
Deleted the entire DungeonCrawler\Saved\Config\Windows\ folder, so the game would generate a fresh one.
Went to the game's install path (Mine is customized. C:\Games\Dark and Darker, deleted DungeonCrawler.exe and the Engine folder.
Opened Blacksmith, ran a "Scan and repair"
It replaced the DungeonCrawler.exe with a fresh one, as well as the Engine folder. Launching the game, it replaced the GameUserSettings.ini I deleted before, and went through a fresh install experience (Telling me to set my keybind for voip and such, as if it was the first time playing.)

Then I opened the backup of GameUserSettings.ini that I made, and used it as a reference point to get my original keybinds, volume, and a few other settings just right again.

Please try to scan the files for any corruption.

You can do this easily using our launcher by clicking on the options wheel next to the play button.

• The game should be closed during this time
• You shouldn't use your internet too much during this time either.
  It's best not to do it at all, otherwise files may become corrupted again and the scan may incorrectly scan other files due to network fluctuations.

Dark and Darker minimum requirements state you'll need a GPU on par with the Nvidia RTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580 to enter the dungeon, and any old 3GHz “quad-core CPU” will seemingly do.
