Is there a way to uninstall the game after you were refunded? The launcher won't let me uninstall the game . It just says 'Purchase' and the gear icon is disabled. Uninstalling the launcher does not remove the game itself.

Warlock isn't that viable imo, I believe it's possible but w/ no shield or double jump it's very challenging.

I don't have warlock unlocked but you can very likely do the fighter strat of standing close enough to immediately bait an attack, then as soon as they close their mouth you put your wep away, turn around and run.

The only problem is the 2nd swing after that, sometimes he does another low swing which for me has a 50/50 of jumping over w/ how big it is... I believe if you get on his right / your left side then it's easier but still the hardest part to dodge.

There's a sound that is made when you go stealth, and a silloute is made. Also if you crouch/walk at all it makes noise in stealth. If experienced people hear it they'll start swinging everywhere/where they last saw you.

If you mean jus hiding somewhere, there's common hiding spots people check. Esp if it's on YT, if not then people will turn up their Nvidea contract settings & burn their eyes to see better.

Depends how you like to play, I suggest giving Rouge Ranger a try. safe farming, good interaction speed and can lean on range+ burst to kill people if they try to take 3v2 fights at you. Hit and run strategy

Either move the folder with the long name off the desktop to another location, or shorten the folder name.

Right-click on the desktop and make sure the Nvidia Control Panel launches.
If the Nvidia Control Panel doesn't start properly, open Task Manager and close all his Nvidia container. (The Nvidia container will restart immediately after being killed, but this is a normal reaction and nothing to worry about. He only needs to kill the Nvidia container once anyway.)
After doing all these things I was able to successfully launch the game.
I'm not sure what caused it, but it worked for me, so I suggest you try it all.

They buff how much your rest heals for. Before Rest was a thing, you'd interact with the fire and sit, but now with Rest you just use that near the fire and it will heal like before. So yes, campfires are Rest buffs while they're burning.

Are there any thoughts on perhaps expanding the gathering and crafting system? I thoroughly love being a gatherer in rpg games and the like and believe that certain gathering and crafting skills would be great to have access to. OKAY Fellas. IF anyone else has my issue, what fixed it for me was... annoying but simple.

1. Go to Regedit in the windows search bar (Registry Editor)
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > IRONMACE and within the Ironmace subfolder, delete Blacksmith.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Download Blacksmith again from the website or reinstall it. either should work but I just redownloaded.
5. Worked for me.

Okay maybe some of you are way smarter and can figure this out... Very first day of early access launch the game ran perfect for me. No stutters or anything. Yes, only certain weapons can break barrels and boxes. Daggers, rapiers, and shortswords cannot break them, which means if you're on rogue your only option is to bring a pickaxe, which can break them. I have never tested if the hand crossbow can break them but that seems needlessly tedious

looking at gpuz, I found that when launching the game, the character select screen instantly starts to overwork the gpu to 100% which can cause the game to be force closed by the system within minutes.
I have also noticed that specifically the perks and skills, stash customize and shop menus also over work the gpu excessively while the other tabs are fine.

Hello please try the following for the EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION crash
This is a fix for NVIDIA users:
1.Open the nvidia control panel.
2.Head to "Configure Surround, PhysX"
3.Change your Processor to your Graphics Card. It is set to "Automatic" at the beginning.

Disclaimer: The game may not start at the beginning and you could end up in the same error again. Simply restart your computer again!

Also, if you have 'Citrix workspace' running on your device, you will need to uninstall it in order to run the game.

That's not that weird. Baldurs Gate 3 has that problem as well. You can usually fix it by deleting some folders which will force the launcher to create them again when it's launched again. I just don't know which ones you would need to delete.

You might say this is quite similar to Hunt: Showdown but this feels NOTHING like that game. So what the hell is going on with this game design? If you're having issues with the Launcher still stuck in maintenance or not loading.... here's the fix:

1. Open Blacksmith. Select the gear icon and click "Show in Explorer."
2. Go back one (click on IronMace option) to where the Blacksmith launcher folder is. Click on it and run the uninstaller. HAVE TO RUN THE UNINSTALLER FROM THE FILE FOLDER.
3. Redownload the Blacksmith Launcher off the DarkandDarker.com webpage.
4. Fixed.

Would you consider going for a less monetization route on characters (i believe grinding for cosmetics or spending money on them is perfectly fine) and more of a monthly subscription for those who are more loyal to the game and want to help hold the line? For example every month for $15 you could become a “line holder” and you could get some cosmetic ingame benefits like a golden name or access to the test servers on that month temporary emotes or skins for that month. I feel like the methods of making people grind for characters is unnecessary and more of meant for games that are cashgrabby, which might be due to ur guy’s past job, aka nexon. Hope this helps someone who can't connect to the server. I had to download the cogeco wifi app and disable security settings, it was turned on without me knowing because I don't use it, it comes with the internet service I guess. It was showing up in the logs that darkanddarker.com was being blocked by it. If you're not with Cogeco, there's probably an equivalent app for your internet service with security settings to disable.

Guys, how do you kill battle axe skeleton? I tried to bait him to hit me, turn around and run away, however his animation is stupid, he just raises an ax over his head and lunges far forward with attack, can`t run away. I tried blocking with the largest shield - no use, no matter where you put your block, he just goes through you.
