They use to have video links, tho other than that. They have changed the layout, IDK. I just typically make sure that pieces are in frame and use the same prompt or change it slightly to make images I want. Can take more credits when gens get bad, tho. Look at #inpaint-outpaint for some examples. Also there are some great SD outpainters too

It might block certain types of connections, or if you are running through a proxy you might need to install the ssl certificate for your proxy server. It can also be that you are trying to access it using incognito that could limit the website from accessing pre-requisite information. But it seems like it can not verify your connection. Oh my, so many things.

• its slow: it tries to simulate a "chat" way too hard, printing chars as they come in as if it were typing. This slows down the browser window and looks bad. If the model is streaming chars the presentation layer should collect them and present in chunks. If the model returns chunks already why is it deciding to print them like a typewriter? Overall super distracting and entrypoint for at least one but probably a legion of presentation bugs.

• its buggy: just ask for a response formatted in markdown, see how multiple blinking cursors show up and the thread slows to a crawl. Just ask the model to try to escape something presented in markdown, or to stop applying formatting.

Overall, there's two layers of logic being done and the model thinks it has control but doesnt. The interactions that result are problematic.

Additionally, there's no way to halt a request mid-way through, even after the model has made a mistake (ie the user needs to clarify). Couple that with the stupid presentation that types slower than my grandma and you can easily be sitting there for minutes on end, or more likely just closing the chat and opening a new one. This is bad for efficiency and bad for user experience.

Hello! I've been getting GPT-3 to write code, and it works well, but it goes over the text limit. When i tell it to continue or to continue and not restart, it restarts. If I can get it to continue, it seems like it skips parts of the code. (It will start a comment like its starting a new section then it just won't) Is there any way I can see the full message or get it to be over the character limit or at least have it know when to stop a message? thanks.

The only thing you can do about that is divide you questions into smaller parts. Once it exceeds the limit it stops, and then if you ask it to continue, it should continue from where it left of, or at least from the last function. but if it starts from the beginning then there's nothing to do other than making your questions smaller and then asking them separately

HELLO, i am having trouble installing openai gym on my mac. I have followed the steps of installing python, pip, and even pip install gym (which verifies it on the system) but when I run a code to import gym i get ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'gym'. Can someone assist with this?

That's what I thought, but one of the first things I taught it was the list of player characters, and it seems to have forgotten who they are now. How long does ChatGPT keep the conversation, or is there a size limitation of the facts it can remember? If there's a time limit, is there a way to do a data dump of the facts so that next time I come back, I can just re-upload the facts into it so I don't have to keep typing and retyping the same things into it?

I'm not sure. Generally its memory is short, it shines in generating 1 off scripts, scenarios, characters, etc. To make the most use of it I would give it little pieces. E.g. tell a story of heroes that went on an adventure, then do each character separately, then individual enemies, and piece them all together as a DM

note that the token limit is fairly slim though so you won't be able to summarise huge pieces of text at once.
