I have been going back and forth between bard, bing and chat GTP 3.5. I upgraded to plus , so I have limited access to GTP 4 but no APIs and after so many prompts I cannot make requests.

If you're developing an app, while the promps are down you can use that time to work out the UI mock-ups, write down new ideas and try to understand your code better by studying it and doing some web research, maybe ask for some opinions on things here and there. If all you're doing is spending 100% of your time in the chat window, you're probably doing something wrong.

Yes but what I'm saying is while the prompts are down, you could work on the other parts you already can handle yourself, unless you already made them, if that's the case then I guess you just need to find something to do in that time until you get access to the API. I find myself waiting for it too, most of the time since sometimes you have to ask smaller prompts and therefore consuming them faster but I've sort of learned to cope with it by focusing on other parts of the project while it's recharging its "batteries".

But lately I've actually had issues consuming the prompts since well, my project is in a more advanced stage so there's alot to do. If you're just starting out with the code then yes, you'll probably use the prompts pretty quickly, then find yourself waiting, but later down the road you'll probably see that 25 prompts is not that bad and sometimes you don't even consume them all (in 3 hours) because you're focused on other parts of the project, researching, analysing your code, etc. But other times it can indeed be a bit frustrating. Hopefully the prompts limit will be either improved either removed in the near future but at the moment we have to sort of work with what we have, unless you're ready to pay for using the API (if/when you get access).
