But I noticed two issues while using it: the exported mod can't be previewed (even though it works fine), but if I recompress it with LZ4 using UABEA, it previews just fine; also, the exported mod doesn't seem to have physics effects.

And if you mean the previewer on NMM it's because how UnityPy compresses the bundles I think, I'm not sure
the physics are located in one single separated file from characters models so the physics fixer modifies that single file to work with NMM

the script 3 in my repacker does that.... you put the Unity bundle into "Modded Bundles" and run the scripts 2 and 3 to get exported textures in "Extracted Assets"

yep, just once. after deleting it, you enter the game so that the game download the latest files. don't delete that folder after that though.
just remember that, everytime you delete those folders, you have to get into the game without applying mods. after the game downloads the latest files, quit the game and then apply mods. so the next time you enter the game, the mods should show

after some tests Na0h found that you need to load compressed mods onto UABEA and to save them with it... that fixes the mods to be able to work with NMM viewer somehow

Bingle's UABEA works with NIKKE bundles so that is the best option I think, that UABEANext is good for BrownDust2 bundles btw

i downloaded the file
watch the embedded video from 0:00 to 0:58 to install required stuff and then jump to 1:59 for usage instructions
the amount of stuff you need to install from Build Tools window is around 12GB
I'll try to compile the repacker for 2.0 version so ppl can skin those 12GB of stuff only to use UnityPy

Looks like you didn't install pip while installing phyton, reinstall it and make sure you choose pip as well

there are mods inside that "Lobby Mods.rar", but that file itself is not a mod. you can just extract that with winrar to get the actual mods. but anyway, that's beside the point. just uncheck "Lobby Mods" and apply. see if the other mods work for you

I was busy finishing the lobby background swapper, now I need to upload to github and then I can see what to do with the portrait one

So it works? 
the background swaps? yeah but the process is kinda long because there are 324+ backgrounds the exe needs to extract every time you use the exe

This one will be the tool with the longest process to do lol
So you better to pick the background you want wisely

it's the same, but takes every single background file extracting the textures so the user can pick among them
For my old PC takes 10min (300+ bundles being processed)

yea for cleaner layout, I set it up so that you can place the icons and lobby/burst into separate folders. You just need to use the correct naming format.

now you just have to hook it up in your script. It would be better if you encapsulate the functions more cleanly in one script and donโt use 5+ Python files.
Yeah fair. @small yoke is the maker of this script and from what I know he uses ChatGPT to make those, so I assume he went step by step to create those and just run them with batch script instead of bundling them together.

I have the file on my folder but mods were working fine 
updating nmm server for latest nikke version now, users dont need to update anything manually but should remove unitcrashhandler64.exe (in the same folder nikke.exe is in) and/or reselect game path in nmm after the game updates in the launcher because the launcher restores that file and it makes it annoying to shut the game down if you have nmm.
I just wait for someone else to generate them and share them here

After the game update, I restored the mods using the following steps.
There might be a better way to do it.
- Deleted old files left in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\com_proximabeta\NIKKE\com.unity.addressables.
- Clicked [Apply Mods] in NMM.
- Deleted UnityCrashHandler64.exe from the game folder.

whenever I click apply it downloads config for like 5 secs then says "Finished applying mods! (you can now start the game)". I start the game and nothing changes, I've heard that the applying is not supposed to be that quick. Any fixes?

@odd cloud after to reinstall UnityPy I found that UnityPy version matters to use my scripts
the repacker works with UnityPy 1.20, the script stopped to work when I upgraded UnityPy to 1.22 so I uninstalled it and installed 1.20
pip uninstall UnityPy
pip install UnityPy==1.20
I'll clarify this on my github readme files as well

that is Python 1.13.3, UnityPy is another separated installation from Windows CMD

If you see 1.22.x you need to uninstall it and install 1.20 version
This probably installed latest version (1.22) so my scripts will not work
by default, it will install the latest version, so for a specific version, u always need to mention it in the command
your char swapper works with 1.22.2 for me
but portrait swapper or the repacker could fail with that version, same with my effects remover
i'll keep that in mind as i use them
Idk how some scripts are set to 1.20 version tbh.... but since that works I'll keep that in mind when I make future tools with 1.20 version to avoid version compatibility issues
