It would be nice to add new channels dedicated to the discussion of builds and team comps, gears and endgame stuff.
Edit to say thank you to who pointed it out, when I joined this server probably they wasn't available and so they were not in my selected channels 😅
new elastic good just dropped
here's the updated image for the .elasticpeak command
No VC ? literally unplayable
@grizzled pawn
<@&956086618924650536> mr beast is out again.

When can #endfield get a rework like #help
The amount of Topics unrelated to Endfield is genuinely getting bad. It’s very frequent and are just large amounts of drama like Gacha wars. Hard to chat in and generally disruptive constantly…
#endfield is very active where it’s also hard to have a conversation with someone. Would like a second on topic gen channel. I’m always afraid to get a warning in #off-topic and I did once.
Would definitely help avoid the drama or too active can free up the traffic
its probably due to those pepole being accustomed that the first channel on the general chats in other games' discord servers is usually just a normal hub without image perms at least in hoyo servers that i was active in (first image genshin, second image hsr)
so its like
#general, used for general chats
#maingame, used for discussions about maingame
#off-topic , for offtopic shit
and since theres probably a diaspora of people that were active in those communities, theyre chatting as if its a general chat, when its supposedly just for #endfield stuff
there needs to be a very big overhaul of the channels or increased moderation if this gets implemented, in which i would probably doubt for at least 3 months from the skeleton workforce of the moderation team
Still, no one talked about #bot-feedback being used for bot usage instead of #bot-spam where it should’ve been
A channel and a special role for content creators, so they can share their videos and the community can discover their work
yahooo thanks
#discord-feedback message bump
thanks Tevi
Can we have a feedback section for things that are not related to the game, discord or bot? We seriously need one after the weird timing we got for the global video
#event-guides now completed with 7th dish squeezed in
can we have Priority Splitter?
edit: also for transport belt as well.
so i can redirect item overflow to depot or for make other item
better for #1494621026821079233
While I was searching couple stuff, everytime in some big server, they had this bot they were using to moderate each of the channels (it may need dedicated vc channels to do so, unsure for created channels)
Maybe this could be a pretty nice stuff to be playtested & maybe.. reconsidered?
hi, I want to suggest for "Known Issues" board/channel in Discord for in-game bug and issues that the devs know, and will (or not) fix in the upcoming (or later) patch(es)
Feedback regarding the Staff Team / the server as a whole. Keep all feedback/comments substantial and constructive.
Apparently the server needs to change notification settings
that's on your side. you are in control of those
It can be changed on their side lol
Server settings -> Overview Default Notification Settings.
ah, you mean that
The settings is already fixed on our side, we recommend to check the setting on your end.
Yea it's now fixed
nice ig
we having vc channels or no?
Please stay tuned for updates, we will eventually open the voice channels.
thanks
it'd be nice if we had some cosmetic roles
You guys should really set the default notifications to @mentions only, forgot to change it earlier and the ping spam is real
Also, in a few other servers we have pronoun roles, which saves a lot of trouble
read above
Considering that Perlica is the first Admin of the server, shouldn't they have the "Head Admin" or "Head Staff" role instead of just "Staff" ?
relatively trivial point but i think staff might imply a formal employment relationship, rather than a volunteering role
emote
Custom Roles when?
make a thread for emotes suggestion or else this chat is gonna get spammed by it
^
Emote channel with monthly emote additions/removals
Also add a "bot-channel" with a pinned list of commands available
We will implement emote-suggestions thread at a later date, for now we will take emote recommendations through this chat alone.
monthly simp roles for characters and color roles
ok then, do we have bots yet tho?
Emote
Yes, we already have bots for the purpose of moderation and such.
thank you for that
Sticker/emote suggestions
The game isn't even out yet. Hell we don't even know what the combat looks like. I don't think there should be a true-hard enforcement of topic because at some point, at this stage of development, we will run out of things to talk about. There's only so much, excluding speculation, to the game currently. At the very least let regular Arknights be allowed in #endfield until we get more content.

Once the game is released you should add these channels :
"#game-help" : A channel where peoples can help one another with the game progression
(If it is open world) "#world-secrets" where peoples can share their findings (such as special zones and alternative paths)
"#faq" : A channel where frequently asked questions are answered
"#game-support" : Help related to the game (bugs and such, maybe along a channel "#bug-report" ?)
"#customer-support" : A channel where peoples can ask staff support for help related to anything outside gameplay
Emote Suggestion Thread
1 voice channel please

Will we get a music bot
Make a bot that tells fun facts about Endfield characters, lore, developers, and more.
Hemlo, Are we gonna get a discord event because it's april fools in 2 days?...
We had it early when the server opened without moderation
VC perhaps
Please don't do #server-guidelines as threads... The threads will get archived which will make them more difficult to look at, and it's already an extra step to actually view everything. It will also show up in a side panel at first which means more scrolling too
And then you have a links thread but then you also have links outside of the thread too?
It would be better to just do one channel for each, especially since you only have one channel in the important category anyway, it's not like you're hurting for channel list real estate
Your concern has been noted, however, we do not have any plan to change the structure of the channels and category any time soon, as we are aiming for a sleek look for the server until the game's eventual release. Thank you.
It doesn't look sleek though, it's just difficult to navigate, that's my point.
are you going to open mod applications any time soon? it does seem there's going to be a lot of work for the small current team
Being difficult to navigate does not justify not reading the content of the threads nor does it justifies ignoring them completely.
If anything, navigating the server will be harder with more unnecessary channels cluttering the top of the channel structure.
Discord has implemented the Thread system for this exact purpose, to reduce unnecessary channels and collapse them into one channel where you can access the information.
We will have more channels in the Important category in the future, but for now, it will stay the way it is now.
We currently do not have any plans to open a mod application any time soon, but it does not limit us from that possibility. Please keep an eye out for the #server-news channel in the case that we open an application. Thank you.
if you make it harder to find these, then less people will read them, which would make everything harder. And discord implemented the thread system for the people to have temporary channels, while the rules are permanent
Discord implemented the thread system as a way to spin-off sub conversations into, well, threads. They are not intended to be used as permanent channels for information, that is why threads archive themselves after a certain amount of time. It's certainly a creative use of the functionality to do what you are doing but it creates unnecessary barriers to actually reading and being aware of the information presented.
If these channels are truly "unnecessary" then there is no point making them threads either, although personally I think it's fine to make channels for these, the information is useful, having it in a thread like this though makes it more difficult for people to access that important information. Not that it can't be done, I just don't see the reason for doing so. Of course, it's your server in the end, but I can see I'm not alone in this opinion here.
It doesn't seem like most users are listening or have yet to read the rules. I suggest making this a bit more strict:
-
Disable all view channel and send message permission for all users without role (@.everyone).
-
Add Verified Role that enables them to access the channels.
-
They have to go to the Role channel to click on the reaction to get the Verified role.
Or make it more complex that annoys most users by putting answers and hints that can be found in the rule channel, while the unverified users must answer all 5 questions in the verification channel. :troll:
My thoughts about your suggestion. We dont have to do that much for a community server. Like Navi said above just write out everything in #server-guidelines don’t use thread so people will and can easily look at it.
What would actually be a cool use of the "threaded info channel" idea is an faq channel: an faq channel contains useful but not vital information. Faq channels can also be quite long depending on how comprehensive they are. You could have the questions be regular messages and then thread the responses. It would make it easier for people to browse the FAQ and only look at answers to questions they actually want to know.
I suppose one downside to this is that if someone wants to read all the faq that they have to keep clicking/tapping things but it's at least a better use than putting vital information inside of threads
from my pov, it makes it easier to spot people who haven't read #server-guidelines carefully since they can go to the rules channel through there
thread expiration is a real concern, but otherwise i don't mind the system
I don't think there's any point in making it difficult for the sake of difficulty. Like, it's to everyone's disadvantage if people don't read the rules lol. They should be as easy to access as possible.
from my past experience, despite having a different channel explicitly made for important rules of the server, it still hasn't stopped people who haven't read them
with the current setup it's about the same as the classic one
i've also tested the archiving of threads problem and they should still be accessible past that so visibility won't be an issue
We understand your concern regarding this community and have noted your feedback regarding the channel structure.
However, we have already previously discussed this matter thoroughly and ended up with this decision.
Therefore, we will keep the current structure until we see an urgent need to change it.
Having said that, as we have previously stated. Being difficult to navigate does not justify not reading the content of the threads nor does it justifies ignoring them completely.
As it will make no difference for those who want to read the rules carefully to not break any rules of this server.
Nonetheless, we will keep a close eye on how the current structure performs. Thank you.
please allow me to post my copypastas
uhm i dont have a twitter or pix iv portfolio i only do art for the memes
suggestion for an artist community channel(for communication)?
am pretty sure locally produced fanart and artists will start popping out here when the game goes live.
then again the game isn't close to release yet so this is a suggestion for the future.
We have prepared a channel for fellow Artists to gather and hold art-related discussions, however, it will only be opened shortly after we have enough artists applying for the Artist role.
If you're an artist, then you can send your art portfolio to @wintry mantle to apply for the Artist role. Thank you.
You should hoist the modmail role above all the other roles so that it's easier to see and access. Or at least get it as close to the top of the list as you can
We will do so after the initial wave of people who visit the server subside.
As we do not want our Mod Mail system to be spammed on the first day due to the re-opening.
Thank you for your concern.
Maybe some kind of voice chat would be good? it was enjoyable to speak with other people on the discord (and you know bring back "the endministrators got talent" or "endfield radio")
The bot doesn't seem to work, won't let me dm?
We have prepared a voice channel for the Endministrators to gather and speak with other Endministrators, however, we have decided we will only open the channel in the future once the initial wave of people that visit this server subside, as we are afraid currently people will only use the voice channel to spread malice. Thank you.
Please make sure that you have enabled the setting that allows direct messages from server members.
Need roles thx
Need roles & vc
at least some cosmetic roles probably come in a bit later when more trailer material is revealed like factions
stuff on the vc returning was literally 3 messages above lol
copium content creator role?
Just out of curiosity, are current moderators and administrators part of an official community team or volunteers?
Hi Taz, we appreciate the inquiry but unfortunately, we cannot disclose any information regarding the moderation staff. Thank you for your understanding.
oh welp
things that i realise is does alpha already comes out?
Considering none of you have any shared servers, two have server-related statuses, and one is a new account, it's a pretty safe assumption though. ;p
In terms of cosmetic roles, the staff team will release them as we deem necessary. However at the moment we have no plans of releasing aforementioned roles, although this does not prevent us from disregarding their application and/or implementation altogether.
Please keep an eye on #server-news as we will keep you updated regarding changes, in relation to server roles.
As for the VC, please refer to - #discord-feedback message
looking from the first time the server open
yeah that's good
Move emote suggestions to the thread in #958720995353575464 please.
I'm looking adding other game?
I wonder when member gonna get a role
Pls no more crying emoji
complain on #958720995353575464
crying emoji is basic emoji so eh....
Where meme channel......but it's probably a bad idea for now
basically off-topioc
Well for both off and endfirld
Meme channel is bad idea for official server. Who know how many member saved their questionable meme or something then posted it there
Ikr that's why i said it's a bad idea
Chess bot pls
on #endfield-media which one is it?
Thank you for pointing that out.
We have removed the older pin. Thank you.
Can we a characters channel on here?
what is a character channel?
I'm talking about discussions about the characters in the game.
so #endfield or #lore-room ?
What are you trying to ask me?
Make a vc music channel that shuffles Arknights and in the future Endfield ost's
I'm saying there is channels already for that stuff.
We won't add any mini-game bots to this server.
Same with an off-topic channel.
The game is not out yet, nor do we see a reason to warrant a complete channel for one. We can add a thread for it in the future if requested again.
Server picture for today
Yes
there is a bot that can rename everyone to Perlica, that would be funny too
there's an option in the library that does that, just need to add it into the bot
can we have a channel exclusively for memes
please
call it memefield
Oh just realized that Server booster doesn't have display seperately from another members, but isokay if just like this.
should name the administrator role Endministrator
it's already been said that a meme channel isn't going to be made like six messages from yours lmao
also apparently we're all the endministrators which is why that name hasn't been used for them
i just realized that
my bad
post system requirements for the devices on #announcement while mentioning everyone(plus pin)? Or have the official site give email news or smh
There is currently no further official news regarding the system requirements needed to play the game. Please keep an eye out for any news from our official Twitter account as they would also be posted on the #announcement channel. You can enable e-mail notification about the latest news and updates for Arknights: Endfield from our official site by clicking the "More" button on the top right side of the website. Thank you.
Thank you for the info! ^_^
add vc
Please refer to the message I have replied to @ionic lagoon
oh sorry I didn't see it
Make an art discussion channel instead of a thread? And rename #endfield-media to #art-gallery #endfield-art #endfield-gallery or something
We are already establishing a channel for Artists to gather and have art-related conversations, albeit it won't be live until we have enough artists applying for the Artist role. Please keep an eye on #server-news for updates regarding this channel.
As for renaming the channels, we'll take it into consideration. Thank you.
A channel dedicated for content creator soon when the game released?
We will consider the possibilities for this channel in the future upon the eventual release of the game.
Just my opinion but, I think the admin or moderators should rethink about who to put the artist role to. It looks as though it’s put on anyone who draws and I feel like it’s unfair. It’s put on people who drew the piece for more than 10 hours but also on those who drew a piece for 5 minutes looking unfinished like a doodle.
Not to mention, tracing
We thank you for your concern regarding the system on how our Artist roles are given and we will strive to do better in this regard. We will discuss the aforementioned concern that has surfaced with our staff. Thank you.
Since so few people seem to read the pinned messages in #endfield-media, maybe making it so only trusted members and artists are able to post messages in there would be good? I don’t know about everyone else, but I get tired of seeing random conversations in there all the time.
If you don’t have a good way to differentiate between normal and more trusted members, maybe a level bot system based on how often you talk would be useful?
i'm strongly against bots to manage trust, because people could "farm" trust and make it kinda useless
a bot measuring "quality" of the messages is harder to implement than it sounds and i doubt mods wanna check user by user.
i think a warning/channel silence approach would be better (it also requires work but i personally find it less fail prone)
The way I see it, leaving the channel open to everyone allows anybody who wants to randomly check the discord once in a blue moon to talk in there, and any folks who come by or join and just don't bother checking the pins as well (which is a majority of discord users). A small level requirement usually means only the people who talk a very minimal amount will be able to access certain places, and in my experience as a mod most people who talk somewhere a decent bit don't generally want to disrupt the place, and tend to follow the rules.
Of course there's a few bad eggs here and there who would still be able to farm and get to a high enough level, but that's what your warning/channel silence or a mute is good for. And obviously being level 5-10 in a server doesn't really indicate high amounts of trust, it's just a good way to filter out really inactive or new joiners until they've been around enough to know the rules. You can still get punished for not following the rules no matter your level.
The other option I can think of is to simply only let people with the artist role speak in there, and remove the role if they misuse it. If you're not an artist you don't necessarily need access anyways, and if you have an image to post you can always try to DM one of them to convince them to post it for you.
I personally thing the warning method is enough, i can't understand the good side of implementing a level system (even tho I've already coded some in my bots just to know how they work and how to make them properly)
It directly adds another database with a quite significant amount of data, some processing, and at least several hours of work (nothing they can't do) to make something which isn't more than a open door.
I'm unrelated to the admin team of this this discord but i'm open to suggestions that may change my personal point of view as well, as i find it an interesting topic.
I'd really like to know what are the pros of such system (cons i can name a few, and I already fear that the server builds up a hierarchy based on level which come from a message counter with cool-downs(this is a must to prevent level-up by flooding))
We won't have a leveling system for this server.
Database and processing power is a non-issue for us, but we do not want any leveling system for this server at this time. Instead if people are going off-topic it is encouraged to inform a staff member so that action can be taken. You can also inform the moderation team in @wintry mantle.
I think we need an FAQ for people asking things like 'When is the game gonna release' or other
For #endfield-media problem where people talk too much in channel instead of thread.
how about reverse it? people post image in thread, then having conversation in the channel.
pros : When you check the thread... full image, no random message. You can make section like video media, image, bgm,
cons : people will ask "where is the image" . Sometimes thread archived.
Also idk how hard to moderate image in thread and sorry if this idea isn't feasible.
Threads can only have 1000 members at a time in a thread. Of course, eventually, we would have to prune the thread every few months to allow new members to join.
https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/4403205878423-Threads-FAQ#:~:text=These roles must have less,to be added to them.
Moderating images is a non-issue for us, even in threads.
Thank you for the recommendation. However, at the moment, the staff team does not deem it as necessary. Otherwise, updates regarding these matters will be announced in #server-news
Although this is something that we will eventually create, without a tentative date whatsoever.
Ah ok, I see
I'm thinking that maybe there could be a media related discussion channel on which the bot is listening for images (and or other kind of media ) and automatically resend them (with credits to the user) into another channel where only the bot can talk
You can moderate the bot only channel easily +- while letting people still talk and discuss about media and such, and people could actually find all the media together easily
yo! I think bringing back a vc is worth strongly considering now when there's regularly been quiet periods of time when there's an average of <20 total messages sent per hour
like it was when I was asleep for the past seven of them
This is also supported by the sizeable drop in total daily messages recently so it's likely objectively certain that server activity has significantly calmed since reopening to create the appropriate conditions to warrant a return
As we have previously stated, we already have plans to open it in the future. Please keep an eye out for a further announcement regarding the opening of the VC channels on our #server-news channel.
Since this server already have more than 14 boosts, how about making vanity url?
We already have that in case you didn't notice.
#server-guidelines message
Ah, okay. Thanks.
Hello Modmins, Can I ask, Does warns reset when ya guys took over?
I got two warns before from endfield bot when the server was a mess.
It was for sending a gif
And a YouTube link
Such channel will be open for everyone when the game is released.
Your questions has been answered through the mod mail in case you missed it.
I've seen it, Thanks, but not really satisfied with the response
The emotes will be added when it's ready.
Good server, 10/10
Needs more Japanese goblin memes
cope
More emoji and mod log
Voice chat when
cope
when we get game news
2025 huh 😔
2025 when?
in 2025
in 2025 ||million years||
what!? I was married at that time
ok time traveler
There is no estimated time until release. The game isn't on that stage to have any kind of countdowns either.
This is one of the discord servers of all time.
i agree, it's really the most discord server of all time
Discord srever?! 🙀
i am Morbius
WTF
please unless you are actually giving feedback keep it to another channel
Merge #endfield-cosplay with #endfield-media seeing as the former is dead and doesn't serve any purpose
They have fundamentally different purposes
so even if one of them is currently obsolete, merging them doesn't really make much sense in that regard
archiving it would be more logical in that case. Probably some time after the game comes out that channel will finally start picking up traction
unban tenor gifs?
go to japan
goblin?
Japanese Gobulin?
👍
What nice discord feedback
For real, when?
in 2.
in about 12 years
lmfao
i dont know why they removed the vc channels it would make this server less of a ghost town which i assume theyd want
voice chat when
the absolute chaos
Bullshit
Needs manual moderation, extra work tbf.
Sry if ping, accident.
re establish vc but have it limited to ppl????? (like only to active people; sent about ~500 messages or something, would be cool to have it back
yes pls
please !!!!! i can mow your lawn for you @moderators if you add vc
Artemis be providing free labor
XD
this 👆
mods dont appreciate my free labor 😕
are the mods irl hypergryph staff?
Currently still speculatory but it's possible they are to a significant extent, because I saw they were looking for similar moderation roles for Traditional Chinese and Japanese languages too
Granted I'd be a tad concerned if their standard of performance is reminiscent to here
The links for the official website etc. should be a part of the top level message for links rather than at the end of the channel after roles
make it so i cant ping mods and whatnot????? (for some reason i can do that by roles
((just thought it would be troublesome if some goofy ahh dumbo spammed those 3 role mentions
