How do you get your guns in line like all guns I like to go naked some raids and I feel that is impossible with a gun stock due to me like only able to calibrate to one gun

So you go to setting down to gun stock calibration and you can select each class of gun and adjust them to your gunstock and save each one, with rifles all of them have similar grip areas the only issue is the sights but usually what I do is with the Ak I’ll hold my gun stock to my shoulder and line up with what feels comfortable and then adjust the gun to my gunstock and then aim with my gunstock and align the iron sights straight, after that I’ll adjust the gun tilt down alittle and move the gun down alittle so that I can still use sights if I add them cause I can always tilt my gun stock up or down. I probably explained that in the most confusing way possible but that’s my process.

You can’t calibrate for each single gun just the gun variety like rifles, shotguns, snipers, etc

Depending on the stock, I usually will shift it to have it up to my face when I need to tryhard recoil control. Other times, its a really good long range shot stabilizer. It takes some experimenting depending on your stock. Some stocks allow you to easily use your offhand downwards for recoil control, while others do not

With the tomahawk, I sometimes will shift it to pistol mode when I am close quarters for example. Sometimes I angle the stock upclose to my face when I had the cgrip. Experiment around with it in the market with certain guns

Nah, you have to adjust the cups to the left or right to align, and change the height on the but stock, As well as the front tube moved up and down moved up and down depending. If you're using the gunstock calibration on a gun without a grip on it, you're gonna have issues unless you grip the gun in same physical area every time. That's an issue with tabors gunstock calibration tool and guns that don't have grips. If it doesn't have a grip it will hardly ever line up in the same spot every time. It takes awhile to learn how to adjust the different parts of the mag tube, but once you get it, you can do it it easily. It took me a long time

I suggest finding a solid spot for your main trigger and that you can get to every time, keep it there and then adjust as needed: the off hand cup left to right to line up with reticle/irons, while changing the angle of the front tube up and down + height of butt stock to get it right for each weapon

It's why sometimes I really prefer my olenvr asset sbs. It's simple. It works with every gun, no calibration tool on, and I can change where I sit the back of the gunstock on my chest/shoulder and just line it up that way.

depending on budget the Tomahawk is the best of the best but it is pricy, the magnetic smart stock is cheaper but still a very good gunstock, I know a few streamers who prefer it over the tomahawk just for comfort 🙂

The budget can vary as I wouldn’t want to go too cheap and have a bunch of wonky 3D printed bits

okay so a bunch of them will be the PVC tube design that have the 3d printed holders just on the tubes, they are okay but they typical require calibration and spare parts are not something you can just buy if it breaks,

then you have the Magtubes by protube which are somewhat expensive they require calibration but I know a lot of big VR streamers use them

Then you have the SKol VR ranges, starting with the Smart stock, its the cheaper of the gunstocks he does, it works really well and is comfortable, best of all you don't need to calibrate it at all, then you have the Butcher it's technically a VR multi tool as you can get different attachments like sword, golf etc, that is the mid range and streamer like Striker use it, the tomahawk is the top end and is used by like Alpha bro, Meta sukiya and a few others of the official creators, and by a few of the VR esports teams, that is the one you go for if you are serious about VR

Personally I love the smart stock, I have not used the butcher but i know Striker VR does and he really likes that one and as it's technically a multi tool you can use other attachments with it do it could be good for games like blade and sorcery too

the smartstock yeah base version ( non magnetic no cheek rest extender ) is £31 ( 29.45 with 5% discount code) that works with all guns in tabor and you don't need to calibrate at all, I would say go for the magnetic version as it comes with the cheek rest extender and being magnetic you can move your front hand away from the gunstock much faster but that is £67 (63.65 if you use the 5% discount code)

doesn't come with one as you don't really want to be using one because if you are using a sling and go to open a box you might hurt your neck going to reach, its light so it wont really fatigue you using it

Some notes:
It's cumbersome and clunky at first but once you get used to it it ain't too bad.

I need to modify the front grip because it was fatiguing on my fingers to hold it.

Finally i need to install some sort of neck strap so I don't have to hold it constantly (or worse, drop it!).

could maybe get a couple magnets and tape a magnet to the bottom of the front controller and one in the bottom of the holder so it wont be your finger pressure holding it in, as for a neck strap, if you have an old backpack could use the shoulder straps from that

Are you looking for a tested design or general feel or what filament to use? I printed a few and the best one so far was a remix of "the best stock you can't buy". Unfortunately I didn't notice it used a modified magnet interface part so it wasn't great when joined together but I still use half of it. I'm going to start printing the original today or tomorrow, I should be able to let you know Friday / Saturday how it's working out. So far I see only 1 issue on the original that I will have to mod - the controller holders stand too tall so after an hour or so they start to slip when using one handed

I have it and to be honest the stock is pretty heavy that’s why I just bought a new stock. But one thing I will say is this stock is really hard to calibrate on tabor and I don’t know why. If money isnt an issue, id recommend 1 of 3 stocks. The butcher by SkolVR, the Tomahawk by SkolVR, or finally the onestock by wieldVR.

The skol stocks are so easy and intuitive to use, the magnetic split design makes it easily one of the fastest stocks ive ever used without compromising your ability to loot, throw grenades, etc.

However.... because of the sheer amount of looting you have to do, and the VERY fine bag packing mechanics you can find in this game, and crafting NRS for 30 minutes at a time, the onestock has been really nice for THIS game in particular.

I HATED the onrstock when it showed up. The thing just didnt keep the controllers in place, theres no method to secure it, they simply sit in the cups and you hold your hands against it.

But I recently bought the magnetic adapters for the onestock and it turned this stock into basically a pro-tube, without needing tools to adjust your stock. I've been loving being able to take my hands completely out of the stock and loot, craft, throw nades, etc. But if you buy the onestock... you really should by the magnetic adapters, so now its about a 200 dollar stock

@hollow aurora So, I tested it yesterday. It's much better than I expected. Easy to reconnect plus the connection is quite secure. It took 10-12 hours so if you have access to magnet/washer combo that it calls for the I'd recommend printing it. It's quite light. I printed most of it with pla+

When I calibrated (has manual adjusting also) gun aim is like exact. Just make sure to change settings for no virtual gunstock and enable manual gunstock b4 calibration

I used to be against self promo but it has been done here forever by everyone so now I just play the same game. In the end it's better than nothing, you get to choose what you want, imo I offer a really good solution to some people's request, if it helps them it's good

all in one is the default version where you get pretty much any type of gunstock in one, you can change the cups to suit your needs. It does what the other versions do + much more.
The speed stock has pre-defined cups in place, to make it cheaper, with the configuration that I use the most, it's like the gunstocks that stay attached to your dominant hand.
Then even cheaper without buttstock.

Tomahawk is not the best. the worst part is that its fixed, but thanks to this the issues of protube detaching in heated moments (or even at reloads randomly) is gone. adjustability wise, tomahawk can do some stuff protube cant. but pruteb has a butt done with more adjustability. the mk2 butt. SkolVR stocks are ssolid. Can never go wrong with those. The butcher is what I would recommend. The tomahawk is cool, but ive never found the folding stock to be useful.

Ive recently tried the modus 4 by 3Daptive, thats a pretty gnarly stock, not my favorite, but for 90 bucks its worth every penny.

The onestock is pretty sweet too, but ONLY with the magnet mounts. Without the magnet mounts I kind of hated that stock with a passion, but with the magnet mounts it almost turns it into a pro tube, except unlike the pro tube you dont need a freaking allennkey wrench in order to adjust it.

My onestock cracked and broke within less than 3 months of use glad I got the package I gotta send of for the new part

Ooof.... yea im sorry to hear that man. Ive been using the crap out of the onestock lately and luckily I havent had this issue.

I broke the magnet mount for my controller but thats my fault because I accidentally dropped it. Blunt force impact

So question for everyone.

Anyone else's sniper calibration broken??

My calibration for every other class of weapon works really nicely. However when I go to calibrate a sniper i can calibrate it to feel beautifully in the gunstock, but after I leave the calibration I grab a sniper and I kid you not, every single time my dominant hand is about 7 inches higher than where my controller is actually at.

This applies for all snipers. Tika, Mamba, AWM. Its insane man.

I literally have to hold my gunstock under my armpit to bring it down to a normal level

you know you can let go of the gun the calibration gives you and pick up the sniper you want to use right...
