The goal is to be there when you need it without interfering when you don't.

Built-in Knuckle Grips and a pretty even/balanced split... vs some only detach the front controller vs splitting the stock in two

take a look at one of the videos posted in the guide, its made for a magtube style stock but its less about a specific configuration and more about how and why you want to have a stock shaped the way you do

beyond that, you'll need to get a lot more specific with what you are asking and what you plan on trying to use

3D printed strength depends on the maker and material and orientation.. Wall strength and infill.

A Lot goes in to making something sturday and size isn't a clear indicator of strength.

All that being said the only one that has ever full busted to piece (that I am aware of) was being used as a sledge hammer in a game and met with a desk/shelf 5 times before it busted.

Is it indestructible... no, but will it be fine under normal wear and tear to an occasionally wall bump. Yep.

If there are ever any issues though, let me know and I will do what I can to help or address them.

Your physical stock's forward hand isn't canted correctly. Idk if cgrip has a rotation adjustment on the forward hand, but if it doesn't, you just have to deal with it or get a magtube

Yeah they do you have to take the safety strings out obviously but it’s smooth

The left controller has a magnetic adapter piece that just pops on an off as well so you don’t have to keep sliding the controller in an out everytime your not holding your weapon

I'm currently using the quest 3 and ideally want a gunstock that I can use to snipe and go prone with but is also allows for efficient reloading and weapon swapping. Any and all suggestions are insanely helpful, thanks! (sorry for the long msg but I'm desperate atp)

Okay so there is a cup-like thing your non-dominant controller goes in and the magnetic has magnets on it which you slide downwards to disconnect and the non-magnetic I'm assuming is just a slide on/off

again... a sling is only needed if you have to drop the main portion of the stock to free up your hands. There are design options where the stock never needs to leave your hands and they can still be free to loot and move. 😉

i do a gunstock calibration and then a game calibration to make it match my gunstock. its quite easy

you want to do both so that you get optimal ergonomics for your body, it makes a big difference in speed, accuracy and ease of use

anyone who says "my stock doesnt need gunstock calibration" probably just doesnt know what optimal ergonomics are

the default offsets in this game are not great, guns are pushed significantly forwards compared to where your controller is
