I haven't touched Tabor yet, I just configured it to be comfortable for me in contractors, and it happened to work in breachers too

Not that long, before playing anything I made some guesses at the adjustments I'd want, then I played for a bit and if it didn't work, I just moved stuff to where I guessed it would work better and fit what I want, without reversing previous progression

yeah its definitely legit, i like how adjustable it is

and its very solid, i can only make it flex when i apply unreasonable amounts of pressure, and that is with the stock extended, so there is more of a lever there

no definitely not, I have the stock like extended as far as it can go, you may not need the same, and all you feel is it just pushing into your shoulder a bit more really, i could probably use less force than i do

Ive seen the tt acc but he is only using the Quest 3 controllers so u cant use Quest 2?

it works the exact same way on quest 2

just the velcro strap if you choose to use it goes around the ring, and not the custom made controller attachment the quest 3 needs

on the ultistock, your controller stays in the stock and you hold the stock at all times. if you use the front end grips, then i would guess its pretty easy to find

its mainly just muscle memory

for the first few hours itll probably be a bit tough, then youll get a hang of it and bring it up and having everything in the right spot is second nature

Also it’s a fixed stock. No adjustments, but it doesn’t need any extra adjustment and calibration for ghost of tabor and breachers from my experience

There are version 1 and version 2 grips. You have to remove them on version one because it’s a tighter fit. On version 2 this is not needed

Get the full kit from @hollow zinc . The arm brace is perfect for GoT because you can slide your forearm up and down the arm brace to level your gun so you can see down your sights. It also includes a straight attachment for other VR shooters

It does. It offers lots of stability. It also gives you an anchor point. When you adjust your stock properly, everytime you bring it up to your cheek, you'll be able to aim quicker due to not having to align your two hands independently

When you start your calibration, there'll be a gun that pops up. Drop that and use the gun you prefer as a calibration model.
Preffered Assault Rifle, Sniper, SMG, Pistol, etc.

When I first started, yeah. I wasn't sure what I was doing because when I started the calibration, the calibration gun pops up and I've never liked the AK.
I figured out starting off with your own kitted gun. One hand on the grip and one hand on the grip. Make sure to switch the safety on so you don't mag dump.

Also, before you calibrate your weapon, fix your hand rotation because once you do it, you can never change it again or you gonna mess up the whole hand rotation thing if you do it after you calibrated your gun.

I'm not sure what you mean, but I have 2 physical stocks and it's not possible to calibrate them for every gun. In fact it's impossible to calibrate my Sanlaki stock to work with any rifle grip style weapon like SKS, BAR, Hunter etc

I've read all the pinned posts, watched all the videos, and the fact remains there is no way to calibrate both hands to make ANY physical stock work in this game. You can only adjust the rear hand which means only a small portion of stocks can be made to work.

So all I'm asking is when is it anticipated this feature will be finished. Just looking for a ballpark figure.

Are you referring to the gun you see when entering the calibration menu? yes of course, that's the only way to use it. Then I see what impact that had on using the actual gun in game. I'll make a ton of back and forth adjustments like this and am able to make a few guns work with my physical stock, but any other gun will now be way off.

I've watched the video and read his pin a few times. Just watched it again and what I described I'm doing is literally exactly what he does in the video. And just like his pin states, you cannot adjust your front hand. This (I feel like a broken record here)... this makes it impossible to calibrate most stocks with many gun configurations in this game. And even if you do get a specific stock adjusted to work with a specific gun I the game, it will now not work for any other gun config of that same category. It's just because the front hand cannot be adjusted because the calibration system isn't finished. This isn't new information. I was simply curious if there is any timeline for when it will get finished.

It's not possible to make the SKS work with your gunstock at the same time as a SCAR with an angled grip. Not without making physical adjustments to your IRL stock on the fly, or recalibrating in the game. That is part #2 of how the system is unfinished. #1 was just being able to adjust your front hand.

#1 is the bigger issue IMO because it renders some physical stocks basically useless in this game.

I have the cgripVR and it's pretty good. If you adjust it for a specific gun configuration, it will work well enough. It's good for looting as well. But I had to stop using it because early in wipe, I was changing guns mid raid too often, which would get me killed because I would be calibrated for something like an iron sights AKM then pick up a players m4 with a foregrip and optic, and now I can't aim at anything because my rear hand in game is too high and misaligned. Late game when I know I'll run the same gun all raid, I might start using it again.

I personally use it as a 2 point and you want it tight enough that it you can easily ready and maneuver your gun. Everybody is different but for reference mine now sits at about halfway up my torso now instead of at my hip

Only thing I did have to do was use a hobby knife to cut a sharp bit off the stock that was scratching up my shoulder a little.

It's not sandpapery, idk if you've ever felt 3D printing before but the length of the little C shaped thing at the end is the length of the filament. Sliding your forearm up and down it is like sliding it on rails, super smooth because you aren't going against the "grain"

The main hand cup hasn't done anything to my right controller yet, and I don't imagine repeated use of the front end grips would mess up the controllers, as long as you aren't like extremely ridiculously crazy with how hard you slam it. I don't imagine if you just grip it like bringing your hand up at a normal speed would do anything

With your dominant hand you will have to get used to picking things up usually with the back of your hand down if you do that as the controller isnt detachable. But thats it, for the lack of weight it really isn't much of a strain to forget it. And the fact its so much easier to fight. Calibration might be a bit annoying but it will work, just have to get all the adjustments right.

Really just how high it is relative to you. Like if you normally get close to hitting the ceiling, or can touch it by just standing and holding your arm up, you probably already have the same troubles I have. If you have to jump to touch the ceiling you're fine

You're holding your offhand further out so generally it'll get tired quicker, and you fight gravity more, so it's also the less stable hand.

Any gunstock will help with that. Magtube or ultistock are good choice. Than you have 7th VR gunstock and many others like sanlaky. Depends on what do you want. There are few common types of gunstock. Depends on your headset and what budget you have/want to spend.

Would recommend a printer that can also use laser for engraving. It's really useful and sooner or later you will use it for something.

Size wize go as big as your space allow. Even if you print small things at the beginning it's nice to have bigger work space if you ever will need it. Last thing you want is to be forced to slice your project in half to glue it later.

its a great mount system, snaps on and slides into place so its connection point is very close to the base of your hand, very natural and repeatable

You could wait till raidr is back in stock and buy cups for the index, or you could get other gunstocks. I use a magtube, heard its good for index but i use it with my quest 3 controllers, so i'm not sure how it would perform with index knuckles.

Taran tactical wanted to make a tactical 1911 that they could also easily use the platform for a race gun (pit viper) and so they took a 1911 and made it faster and possibly if handled correctly even more reliable, ontop of that they modified the grip/magwell to be larger to fit a double stack mag and flared it for faster reloads

For the second one though, that's just entirely impractical

And for both designs, I don't imagine then working well, that's a lot blocking the tracking

Yeah split gunstocks was an obscure concept but I tried to make it more popular with GunFace. comes with shoulder stock but the name stuck xD

Depending on what stock you have you may also need to physically loosen and rotate the front or back grip around the stock and then tighten again. If you rotate the front grip to the right, the gun will naturally aim a bit more left.

After resetting settings get that correct first. I don't think there is a rotate left or right in calibration.. just up and down and in and out.
