Without a gunstock I'll always have to correct my aim, to move my hands accordingly so that they align properly with the sight on the ennely. With a gunstock it's always alined, and it's 100% consistent, so at some point when you pull it up it's always aiming where you want it to aim

I got the raidr too...sadly the only good parts are the locking mechanic of the controller mount and the tubes...
Luckily my brother has a 3d printer and we are working on optimisation.
We will print cups that hold and fix the controllers perfectly that can be screwed onto the mechanism making this thick metal part and the unpleasant rubber strap obsolete and we will print a "diamond" formed cup and notch for the magnet connection, they make the snapping way smoother and lock in perfect no matter how you snap them together.

The shoulder stock from the raidr is a joke, it's full metal and way to heavy, makes the back part of the stock extremely wobbly with those rubber strap mounts, it's better to just poke the tube end against your shoulder.

All in all I sadly realy can't recommend to buy the raidr, especially for the price.

When we finished optimisations, we may publish the data's as open source for anybody to who likes to optimise their stock to.

So my review of the GOT Mammut I have never used a gun stock and I don’t like virtual stock so my aim is easier not better but easier to aim. I would say you have more reliable mid range and more chances to make better shots at long distances. It’s easier to aim through sniper scopes and other sights. I would give it a 8/10 once I get the better grips 9/10

It is small so if you are a bigger person it might not be the best choice

You’re on a Quest? Have you already enabled the “fix janky aim” option?
That option already offsets the offhand controller position to avoid occlusion. It mostly did the trick for me with guns I was having a problem with like the SKS and others with low iron sights.

The guns do it without a stock as the hand holding is “more realistic”

Yeah the janky aim fix helps with or without a stock. Again that offset front controller position helps it from being blocked by the rear controller from the view/tracking of the headset.

Still I hope GoT implements a gunstock calibration system more like Contractors or Onward making it easier to switch between any gun, grip or optic while not having to make adjustments to a physical stock in-game.

Although if they had a very robust calibration system with separate calibrations for each gun perhaps you could setup a boltie to be held more similarly to irl?

I know yours is quite adjustable too, but as far as I've seen, it doesn't have the same vertical adjustment, especially if you want to use the grip for the second hand instead of the brace. What I'm getting at is I have not seen any 2 gunstocks have similar pros and cons and have a fairly substantial price difference.

it's the magtube, looks like they sell the controller and mounts without the stock so you can just buy those. They slip onto the RAIDR's stock as they're the same diameter. Worked pretty good though I'd probably recommend buying the fixed mounts over the magnetic ones

The best gunstock by far for playing tabor is The TOMAHAWK I’ve been through a number of different styles and types of gunstocks and I got a Tomahawk at the beginning of December and was able to use it straight away I don’t in game virtual/physical gunstock because it’s not needed. Before I bought my Tomahawk I had a different gunstock that I used when I had a Quest 2 which was Kobra vr’s SIDEWINDER which was a great bit of kit the only reason I got the TOMAHAWK was because I got the Quest 3. Other than that and knowing what I know I wouldn’t waste my money you’ll find you can play better free hand and you’ll die less because your quicker with a virtual gunstock rather than these cheap pvc ones that people push on here, what do you expect for $40/50 ?? You get what you pay for I’m afraid a piece of plastic and plenty of buyers remorse. If the usual same group of people start crying 😢 because of my opinion then fuck off you big girls blouse, you’re only mad because you’re pushing tat targeting young uns. Folk before you buy a gunstock just do a bit of research on what ever you’re thinking about buying just check all the different ones out there. With how the current calibration system is. There is no "best" gunstock for tabor. It's just what works in tabor. Personal experience. Ultistock and 7thvr are solid choices for the 50 to 80 doller range. I personaly prefer mag tube. It's around 130 metal and little more for carbon. I choose ergonomics and ability to adjust to my specifications s over anything else

when he says "how the current calibration system is" what he means is it's not finished, you can't make ANY adjustments to your forehand. So this means if your stock requires anything more than a teeny tiny adjustment to the rear hand, you can't ever get it aligned correctly. Magtube only "works" because you can change the shape of the physical stock to match the goofy ass hand alignments in the game. But thats not how this should go. We'll need to wait for devs to complete the gunstock calibration system.

yep I just mentioned it because nobody ever tells new people about that. I only ever see people telling them they didn't do it right, didn't watch the video etc and just gloss over the fact the calibration system isn't finished, magtube works fine etc so people start to think they're just idiots and can't figure it out. That's exactly what happened to me at first I spent hours fuckin with the unfinished calibration thinking I was just doing it wrong.

Hard to let you individually calibrate each gun manually instead of just the ak for assault rifles and to set your arm a bit left when using a grip? i don't buy it really there a talented bunch they could make it work if they wanted to and probably are but it should have been done before i spent £100 on there stock i only got there one to support the game am a bit annoyed it don't work in game.

different games have different shapes for guns, as such your gunstock will probably need some slight tuning to get it to work the way you need

if your gun is tilted horizontally you will need to have your controllers go slightly outwards to compensate

I use a unique setup lol. Back hand mounts on the bottom, an the front hand mounts to the top.

With the magnet at the top on the front hand I find it’s easier to get down to mags and such for reloads.
