So I just must have had a different position on my last stock

ive only played 5 actual raids with the thing so far, spent more time in my bunker fine tuning
need to just go out and use it, figure out what I like, and what needs changing

though I think what I have now will cover most bases, should be a nice starting ground

Now you need to practice technique

Get your Low rifle ready in perfect position

im awfully terrible at finding the magnets 💀

So you can go straight to ads without thinking

And some muscle memory on the position

The trick there is to get the sling in a 1pt config and lower it so that the rear magnet is near your pants pocket

That way you just lower your hand to snap it in

main issue i found myself having is the little strap on the controller gets inside the cup when trying to snap the magnets

Anyway, major thanks for all the help getting set up! Gonna go and just have some fun using the stock

I like the lightweight design of the stock, but i didn't like the mounts, i know it supposed to be universal for multiples controlers, but for my liking was a bit two loose. My brother design a simple bracket with some cups that are already on the internet. Is more stable and more rigid. Overall the stock compared to the tomahawk ill give it a 6.5/10

Thanks for honest review. Still pretty good approach for the Mamut after those tbh clunky stocks before. And of course those all cons of RAIDR was seen for me by the first sight long ago. And what is the most ironic, is that even I having my experience, have absolutely no idea how to make it better in terms of still using those tubes.

Looks like the 'quality' materials are ruining the very idea.

But somehow for somebody it's good. Like using protube attachments with it. But still without buttstock.

So I am truly confused what to advice.

If you will ask me if Meta or Valve ever will make their own guns attachments with tubes? I will answer to you, never. 1000%. I will answer to you, it will be 100% original gunstock design. Never it will be from the fittings or tubes.

That's just what I did when made my cup for my gunstock. 30 minutes. Grips 3 months. 170 gramms of plastic plus tube. Just explaining. If there were warranty it was more expensive most probably. Never tried to insult or smtn.

Gunstocks absolutely make VR shooters more fun, it's not worth it for this game. There's no forehand calibration implemented so unless you have a highly adjustable gunstock, you're just going to get frustrated. The best gunstocks for this game you basically ignore calibrating in-game and just adjust your stock for whatever gun you're using.

TLDR: If you only play Ghosts of Tabor you might as well just buy a MagTube. I however, refuse to purchase a new gunstock because one game can't fix their system.

Cgrip is very good for its money. Really hard to find something better for 2 hands with buttstock for that price. Not sure about the print quality, but warranty should help with that. Plus it's approved by lots of everyday Tabor players. Definitely worth considering, to my opinion.

I used to play Tabor around 3 months ago and used my gun stock which worked perfectly fine, but now when I load on it’s reset all of my adjustments and so I go to change them, I line it up perfectly and then as soon as I press the two triggers it doesn’t save it and resets it to the default setting

Depends on the gunstock, mine is a split stock so you just have to "break" it in two and your hands are free. Most common is detaching the controllers from the stock which stays hanging on you like a real gun thanks to a sling

I can actually relate to this heavy, when I got my ultistock I also kind of hated it and wanted to return it. But I kept messing with it and ended up talking to ceps and helped me out a bunch. It now feels much more comfortable, and fits much better. I am now pretty used to it and I’ve been playing with it only. I will say though, that other than a little bit of stability, I don’t think it really provides much advantage at all. Like it feels good to be actually shouldering something and getting a cheek weld, but like I don’t think it really makes me “better” at all.

Yeah, if I’m being honest I was a little disappointed, but I was also being a little naive I think, like I thought it would help me get on target much faster, but you really do gotta get it fit just right so it’s comfortable first, then build that muscle memory. I did make some@minor tweaks in the gunstock calibration that helped a lot too

I’m just saying I set my motion to head controlled so when I push forward on the controller, I go the way I’m looking. When it’s on controller or oriented, forward on the stick goes the way the controller is pointing

I’d double check to to make sure the setting is set the way you like it. I’m pretty sure everyone’s settings got reset last week after an update

I believe the setting is called “hand movement” or something like that in the gameplay tab, you’ll have a head option and a controller option.

Try both and see if one of them makes it feel like you’re used to

Ever try dropping the ghost gun and picking yours up?

I always felt like there is occasionally a disconnect between the ghost gun and the one I use. Occasionally I pick up my gun, calibrate it good, then double check after applying and the ghost gun is rotated 180 degrees, which is way too much deviation, even taking account the geometry, which is just odd.

Picking up the main gun its correct. Reseting sAnd then when i adjust the ghost gun back to its place (relatively well placed), and then fix the main gun, its fine.

Then mid battle in a raid, it might adjust 0.5 degrees on rotation if not rotate fully. This offset feels like it happens most often when the weapon collides with something while fireing (feels like it replicates while strafing to walls in Matka Underground when using a rifle) after which calibration feels off or just resets... even after following the pinned suggestion of quitting after calibrating. Will need to play more to get it absolutely right with my gun stock and the movements I have with it.
