Just calibrated my protube PERFECTLY! Saved adn everything.

Went into raid worked for like 10 seconds then went back to default

There's a little thing it's supposed to tuck into and it stays, and it doesn't slide off because there's not the slack to do so.

Because of gunstock calibration being broken, I just keep it off. Works fairly well for the most part.

I has the slightest groove to keep it in place and it works sort of how a belt works. You put the nipple in the hole, then put the excess strip in the little slip. Keeps it on well enough.

After you calibrate. Save, exit the game and load it back up. Should work fine

Im actually really happy with mine aside from the dumb screws that hold in the mount. Needs plumber tape or washer added to it in order to keep from wobbling.

Protube breaks a lot sadly. Half my customers come from protube and tell me they like how my product somehow breaks less.

Buy once continue to cry. It's the Ferrari of gunstocks. Ferrari makes more than half their revenue on parts and maintenance.

Can't knock the product overall, but the idea it's somehow a bulletproof final solution is a big misnomer.

Exactly my thoughts. Great for contractors, Pavlov, legit any game where the gun is your only in hand item. Unlike tabor, where you are constantly moving. Just feels smoother when transitioning imo. Never used a big gunstock like magtube/protube but speaking on personal beliefs.

Not a fan of the raidr. Its not amazing in Pavlov so Im scared to try it in tabor.
The controller mounts actually hurt the hands. Butt stock is not balanced and you will feel it in your wrist when apart. Straps I wont see lasting more then 6 months as it uses self friction to stay in. The knob that tears off shouldve been a permanent part

im boutta get on so final statement on the raidr its not worth the price (it is if you dont use the buttstock), its worth copping, and you get used to its flaws and is one of, if not the most adjustable stocks out there

Honestly it’s a pretty solid stock imo. Just the weird manufacturing decisions is what I’m bitching about. For example, the little rubber hat on the peg that locks in the rubber strap for the grips; in their tutorial video they show it in use and don’t say to rip it off or it will fall off. But on their page it says it will. Tinfoil hat in me says it’s a manufacturing defect caught too late and that’s how they’re spinning it. Also my other gripe is perfectly fine. The hat feels snug and won’t rip off

I figured out a possible bug that actually makes it easier to calibrate.

Go to the market and be next to gun type you want to calibrate then put that gun on your chest.

Open up the calibration menu and grip the gun on your chest. It should drop the fake gun and you can now calibrate while holding a real gun.

Then go back and forth from griping with off hand to check alignment

getting the most out of your gunstock is a 3 step process
1: setup main back half of the gunstock for your body for maximum ergonomics
2: setup the front half of the gunstock to have the best compatibility for the games grip points
3: use gunstock calibration to optimize and fine tune distance/elevation for your gunstock

Yes just select Fastened instead of Magnetic on the cups.

Based on what I've seen I doubt it matters if the cups are magnetic or fixed for RAIDR. The way they detach you'd likely be detaching the center tube magnet instead so the cups would always stay on

The way our magnetic system works the magnetic strength is very strong until you do a specific movement to detach which is the only way they 'easily' detach

They can easily hold 1.4kg+

yea before buying the Raidr I was using a KobraVR ultralite, with the rear sawed off to make it lighter and smalled

I had to use straps, especially for the fore hand or else your controller will end up flying 👅

I have a Quest 2, planning on moving to Quest 3 later this year or next year, KobraVR stuffs are great but if you change your headset your gunstock is good for trash

Yes, lots of people use it in Tabor and have no issue. There is a specific motion you go through to easily detach the controllers, and otherwise they stay in and don't easily come out (can hold a lot of weight actually)

In use 2 main differences are you can adjust height of MK2, and its shape is different which may feel more comfortable for cheek weld or against shoulder

I think the raidr is 100% worth it. I have not had any issues and it's not too heavy. Folks are just being picky. The but stock is a heck of a lot lighter than 95% of the stocks out there. 10/10 recomend. My only complaint is the controllers will after a super long play session sometimes slide up. Holes getting filled completely, not a single flat service to set down, thus relying entirely on support

The feel of weight of the butt will actually be better negotiated when the strap is firmer.
If you have a sloppy sleeve, it will feel very bouncy and uncontrollable.

I would hold off on raidr if you use index controllers..people with quest don't seem to have as many problems.
Unless your into doing 3d printing, there is stl's for new mounts on index.

Yeah both are good choices, I don't think you'll have issues with raidr with quest controllers.
It's just the way it mounts for index knuckles it makes it unstable and wobbly
It's all on your price point and preference for which stock

Question re: calibration. I can calibrate for my protube just fine. I’m having an issue though where when I put the gun away my hands are staying with the gunstock offsets so I can’t use pistols and makes looting tricky. I can temporarily fix it by adjusting hand rotation offset or going to shop and coming back. But when I grab rifle they get stuck that way again. Is this a known issue or any better workaround?

Tabor Raidr quick assemble and initial impressions.....There aint no way im climbing ladders in Tabor using the Tabor raidr with that unbalanced buttstock and unsecured wobbly mounts. Ill have to see what solutions i can find later.

absolute fire IF you change the controller cups

it takes a bit but the screws do end up setting in if you keep tightening them a little between raids

the weight of the buttstock is irrelevant as long as you change the universal cups for a solid one

i 3d modeled a quest 2 cup that has an adapter to go on the raidr and if you turn off virtual gunstock its cracked (in a good way)

im uploading the model tommorow so anyone can print it (it takes a bit of work after the print for it to fit properly)

long story short... the radr STOCK is one of the best stocks on the market. But the UNIVERSAL CUP is skilled at all trades but a master of none (fits every controller but has way too much wiggle)
