I have tried three styles of stocks. The protube is far superior. If you select a cheap stock with magnetics on the top of controllers it will affect your tracking in game. Go ProTube.

Hey bros this is not really a gunstock question but maybe someone can help, my irons are not lining up to my hands in game they’re slightly to the right and I can’t adjust that, also when I adjust the pitch the left hand resets after a loading screen and points up while the right hand keeps the adjustment. Seems to only happen when you quickly grab the end of the gun with your offhand instead of waiting for your offhand to slowly come back to its resting position after initially letting go of the gun. This is on the index, 4 base stations, 0 reflections, no back-facing hits. The reason the left hand is moving backwards after I let go is because its physically further back than the grab point on the gun.

I wouldn’t see that as a tracking issue. Your physical stock could be adjusted for this game alone I suppose. I don’t plan to make physical adjustment to mine, as it’s set for multiple VR games (where calibration settings work). Tabor just doesn’t appear to have come up with a suitable calibration setting feature yet.

I can not say it looks like convenient. Or even safe to operate with those sharp sticks on both hands. Don't see convenient point of buttstock contact. But if you like istock you will like it. Anyway two-handed stuff instead of protube design is a great progress. If compare with other mamuts or magtubes.

Donzilla has very old Tomahawk. Tabor has changed a lot, Tomahawk changed a ton. He is the only man on my memory who chooses protube over Tomahawk from 800+ my clients so far. And satisfied with the sling on his neck saying he don't feel that. That is nonsense of course. He feels a lot. Everyone I asked wear hoodie at least to not hurt their neck with protube sling. Find one single streamer on the whole internet in tshirt playing long time with it.

I am personally know at least 3 content creators who love choose Tomahawk over the magtube and just wait till I make index version for them. And I will. And I know content creators who refused to play with free protubes, choosing Tomahawk after their review. What I read here is only people's opinion about the things they do not use. To you I will fully refund with pleasure all you money if you won't get your parcel and leave it at the post office to be returned. And you within a week then will be able to play with all you want out there.

help lmao I just bought the magni stock because it was on the cheaper side and I can't figure out what the hell is up with either ghosts of tabors calibration or user error. When I go to calibrate, the gun is pointing waaaaaaaay to the right and I cant move the offset left and right to fix it and its forcing me to use my left eye when I'm right eye dominant. The calibration won't stay as well, because I grabbed the AKM (the gun used in calibration) and it's pointing to the floor.

After all that, got one set of guns semi usable and then everything else is unusable, pointing in odd directions and into the floor again.

First turn off physical gunstock and try to make the actual stock work by adjusting to a rifle

pointing side to side is a horizontal calibration issue with your physical stock. gunstock calibration doesnt change anything there

it just means you need to make some adjustments to your stock to get it lined up right

Haha. I found gunface. Gunstock that braces on your VR headset. If you add small slots to front of your headset then there wouldn't be any need even learn anything as it the gunstock would always be in the same position.

omg no!! Never go with HEAVY mats.. Always look for the toughest and lightest mats. I went with PVC and it was still way to heavy and after a couple weeks of using it to get use to it, it started hurting in the wrist..

My opinion is people who are wanting what will likely be the best VR gun stock should buy the Raidr. If you're USA based probably want the UltiStock that @steep orbit posts about it looks pretty damn cool and if you're in the UK you probably want something like the 7thVR or something similar.

If you cannot afford then you should use a coat hanger, PVC pipes or 3D Print your own using someone on facebook marketplace. I'm not one sided for any stock except Raidr. I will however tell people what I know based on the mistakes I've made in the past. I'm not saying the product you sell is shit. I've never used it.

Once again, it's my opinion, you don't need to listen to that opinion, what you could have said is:

Hey man that's a cool thought, I do personally think that the SkolVR stock is better than XYZ for this reason.

Tube isnt the issue, issue is finding 2 opposite polarized magnets without ordering them from somewhere like china and wait ages. The one make on that stock also says he used 60lbs magnets and they were too weak, the 30x4 magnets on the part list generally seem to be only 16lbs. That is quite a big difference. Maybe the other person is insanely strong 😄

I find editing STLs annoying, when you create a mesh it creates it with like 10000 polygons and you cant use simple tools like push and pull

In regards to the long list, the price of 129 euros is mainly just directly from us. Knoxlabs for example charges more. Also, you only have proper customization options directly from us. With the resellers you're much more limited in options (tube material, controller holder material/color, sling, shoulder stock type, etc.)

It is inside out tracking and behaves in a way consistent with other inside out tracking systems. If you completely occlude a controller's tracking sensors they will lose tracking. There is no way around this.

In fact, you still need to have the gunstock adjusted in such a way that the headset can still see the sensors it needs to track the controllers properly. For this reason our Quest 3 controller holders have an opening for the bottom sensor on the controllers.

That being said, the Quest Pro controllers do work with Quest 3 headset, for the user who wants no compromises when it comes to tracking. These limitations don't apply as much to those controllers. Both Quest Pro and Quest 3 controllers use the same controller holders because both controllers have the same basic shape and grip angle.

Another important thing to consider, is that for whatever reason Quest 3 hand tracking doesn't play nice with controller accessories. So people will want to disable handtracking when using a gunstock or some other forms of accessory with their Quest 3 headset.

I don't understand the question. It is inside out tracking. If the headset can't see the controller you lose tracking. It is as simple as that. Plenty of people can use this fine, and just not occlude the controllers during gameplay.

So for the majority of people, Quest 3 controllers are fine. If you are highly competitive and want no compromises, then yes, you would invest the money in Quest Pro controllers. This is like, 90th percentile level of serious play and even then I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of competitive (aka esports) players on Quest 3 use Quest 3 controllers fine.
