As a player with over 800 hours invested in Ghosts of Tabor, I am writing this from a place of experience and disappointment. There is a glaring issue with the PvE mode that a large part of the community is aware of, but few dare to point out clearly: the developers' total lack of interest in the players of this mode.
The Contrast with the Competition
Pointing out what other games are doing isn't "advertising"; it's exposing a reality based on facts. If we look at Contractors Exfil Zone VR, we see a team that is genuinely listening to those looking for a solid PvE experience. They are currently implementing:
• New vest and equipment systems.
• Structured, purposeful missions.
• PMC Artificial Intelligence (AI) that acts and responds with human-like tactics.
Meanwhile, in Ghosts of Tabor, the PvE community remains stagnant, waiting for improvements that never arrive, feeling like the studio simply doesn't care about them.
💔 A Personal Disappointment
Ghosts of Tabor was the game that introduced me to the VR Extraction Shooter genre. Precisely because of the appreciation I have for it, it is extremely frustrating to see how the competition is actively striving to build the decent PvE mode that the Tabor community has been begging for over the last few months, without getting any response.
To those who try to invalidate these complaints by claiming it's just "advertising for the competition," I say this: the fact that describing another game's updates sounds like an ad is the greatest proof that the competition is doing things much better. If recounting Exfil Zone's progress feels like a marketing campaign, it's simply because they are actually working, innovating, and taking care of their PvE player base, while Ghosts of Tabor has chosen to look the other way.
