The beyond is great and an impressive piece of tech.
But it also has its downsides, and its far beyond (badum tss) what any normal user would need or want.

Just go with frame, its gonna be the best option for both standalone and pcvr once its out

If you get the beyond, then you are basically already commited to goin past anything you actually need, and willing to take some hits in order to get better immersion

in pve do the difficulties affect the loot in raid?

Main things would be:

• Glare
• The displays emmit a lot of heat which drys out ur eyes at all times
• if you have long eye lashes, you have to clean the lenses every time you take the headset off
• its small, meaning it has less tracking surface. Often results in the need of more base stations
• the only really good controllers for it that currently exist are the index knuckles, which valve discontinued a while ago
• you have no light leakage, but that also means you cant see shit without taking it off, not even peaking over ur nose

ah. I get worse latency with link cable then I do with VD + wifi -> steamvr (config tweaked enough to lower latency as much as possible), but I have a very fast AP setup. the link cable latency is just enough to where it impacts moving my gun around as fast as I want/irritates my eyes.

Quests listed with an X under their name are not up to date!!

Quests were added to the game in the December wipe of 2024. they are story based and need more involvement. they are different to [Tasks](<https://got.miraheze.org/wiki/Tasks>) which let you repeat them however they do not give item rewarded.

When you have completed a quest for a trader and the next quest isn't appearing, that means that you have to complete Quests for different traders to unlock more.

Just asking for help I don't know where to put this is there any way to get stuff back if it's lost from a bug or crash? I lost alot of good stuff like ragnars and cards on silo because my game crashed on a ladder and I died from the drop and I just got killed then with a boss gun and a bunch of good loot because my game paused in the middle of a fight and when I came back my gun wouldn't shoot and I tried reloading it cocking it changing mags even switching safety on and off it just wouldn't shoot I then froze again and died unable to fight back
