Quests were added to the game in the December wipe of 2024. they are story based and need more involvement. they are different to [Tasks](<https://got.miraheze.org/wiki/Tasks>) which let you repeat them however they do not give item rewarded.

Yeah getting your aim good takes a little while, especially if it’s your first vr shooter

9mm, 10mm, and 45acp are decent pistol rounds, but at no point have they ever been able to reliably defeat decent body armor. Theyre good for cqc against lightly armored opponents or for trying to get a lucky headshot. rifle calibers will always be more successful in defeating body armor and striking targets at close to medium ranges

smg isnt bad, youre just trying to use it in cases that is was never meant to be used. If you have the jump on a guy from close range with a sub gun, dump his face and neck and youll stack his body. many such cases on silo and mall where ive done that. if you get nothing but body armor, its the equivalent of a bunch of body blows from a pro wrestler. its gonna hurt but you wont die.

also Tabor is not russia. Its an island that had a heavy NATO and soviet presence prior to its fall. That is why there is a large amount of western gear

Rifles and Carbines are a general purpose weapon platform that excels at medium range and have been designed with body armor in mind

The vector is a bullet hose where its primary use case is to put as much 9mm as possible down range as fast as possible. point it and keep it at someones head, and youre bound to get a head shot and kill them, hopefully, before theyve hit you 3 or more times witha rifle

my fault, that was a joke. the reason some smgs are more expensive than others, is because they perform better than other smgs. the mp7 and both vectors are better than most other sub guns because of their high ROF and (comparative) damage stat.

a high ROF means more damage over a shorter period of time, especially if you only need to do 100 damage.

There is a reason most, if not all, modern militaries standard service weapon is a rifle or carbine. it does most jobs well. intermediate calibers like 5.56 or 7.62 are just good at most things

The sub gun was developed during a time that called for close ranges and no armor where most soldiers just wanted rounds down range more than anything

carbines (like the m4 or aks74u) bridge the gap between short & fast while maintaining the capability of defeating armor.

So yeah, the sks is gonna do really well in most circumstances and in more circumstances than any smg

because the smg was designed for a very particular task and got phased out really quick

theyre not bad or useless, just not as useful as they once were

and with how armor behaves in tabor, even intermediate fmj struggles with armor

smgs dont need a buff, just remember, they arent rifles
