if you follow #📋・wipe-information and #📢・announcements recently there was activity there and we are literally in wipe event that results in a wipe. Wipe event usually lasts 3-4 days but can also last much longer, no idea of exact wipe day unless you decipher the message in #📋・wipe-information

I mean, they have not been down.
some squad combos have issues getting into raids, some still work and solo absolutely works.
If your squad combo does not work, you can try hitting reset ping if extremely lucky or you can try VPN to force the game to choose a different default server, but no proven methods to 100% work as far as I know. It's being worked on. It's essentially a server issue with the new provider.

Since the new weapons are not confirmed, we have no idea what level spec they will be.

M249 might be a possibility to be one of the two, since the top GoT leaker Scott Albright did imply that person, who wanted m249, will have something to grind for this wipe, but there is no straight confirmation yet.

@flint bay since you are interested in rumours and leaks, these are the wepaons that Scott confirmed during AMA that he was working on and that they will come to game at some point:
mp5k, MDR 5.56, HK 416, M1 Garand, FN FAL, MG42

initially they should have been a part of 10 weapons released till the end of January but plans got shifted hard and that never came to be, so we now wait till they all are ready.
Initial list was 10 weapons, these are only the ones he personally worked on.

Well, true that they were better than most players at shooting, but they still did not have 100% accuracy so with decent enough aim and good gun you could survive them. Other than that, they were pretty stupid and always spawn in same places, so once you know their spawn locations, you can just take them out before they even make a shot. Wasn't that impossible to deal with it.

That's a double-edged sword because you will be very disappointed with normal loot spawns after wipe.

It's the whole premise why gacha games are ruining current gaming landscape - they use the same addiction mechanics in people's brain's to get them hooked and it no only makes people addicted to that one more gacha pull, but also permanently reduces their enjoyment with any other games (and probably some other IRL stuff as well).

Not consuming tabor content on youtube. Just thoughts.
Youtube does not do that well with the usual "I killed this many guys and earned this amount" content, neither does it do well with twitch stuff where you set up penalties and challenges on yourself. Educational content with tutorials and shit does fairly well in short term, you can just sit in here and #🌐・wiki-commands and see what people talk about and ask about to see what needs videos for people to search up, but that is a bit more work to put in and really works short time and you will have to keep churning out videos about it.
That said, also channel about single game is bad, you need to cover several.

What does good reallly is drama. That gets a lot of clicks. You can do speculations and rumours about Tabor a lot, easy to make videos, just make some flashy thumbnails and go. However that's really cheap content that does not generate very loyal community and will get very little recognition from devs. Also harder to monetize.

on island it really depends on what kind of raid you spawned into , in general I'd say light house , or the back of prison , people rarely go there and if they do you can see them coming and should have the advantage , the junk yard/ garage is also good but usually later in wipe since the beginning missions lead you there

other than that I'd also say behind church can work depending on how tactical the players play that you have on the map with you.

my main tip would be , if they didnt see you let them run past you , it works wonders and they dont expect you behind them since they came from there and nothing happened

my best suggestion is to work with it , before you start running somewhere grab the gun with both hands and use the front grip to hold on to it ( i know very controversial but then if you grab the back and trigger it doesnt move the gun )

i dont have any idea on how to avoid that so currently only tipps on how to work with it , kinda the adapt overcome strategy .
i generally recommend having the gun in a low ready position at all time and for you plan some extra time to adjust the angle before you go into a fight
