Are any of ground zeros reachable on any of the maps? I’m so tired of losing my backpack and I know it goes to Ground Zero (0.0.0) because it doesn’t know where it’s at so it teleports there but if I could just know where that is so I can get my stuff whenever the spawns off of me I could then just get it easily

here’s another question, why don’t they just grab the whole map and move it so that all ground zeros are reachable? I know that’s not exactly a huge update, but it makes players able to grab their loot since for some reason they’re taking forever on the backpack fix

It dose, in any engine a game runs at stuff like this that disappears does it for a few reasons but the reason the backpacks do is because for some reason, they don’t know where they’re at even though they’re supposed to be in your hands so they teleport away, they don’t just teleport to a random generated number because there’s no software to tell them to do that so they resort to default (0.0.0)

Guns have different models. Guns in this game are modeled after real life guns. It was developer's decision, for balance purposes, to add a gun model without rails. So it does not have rails.

That said. if you want a collector set - a couple mags of BAR inside collector would be a good trade. If you have one - a couple mags inside other player's bodies and a nade under your feet would be a sensible trade.

I have confirmed that the scav inside cathedral, that patrols (not the one that's standing) also can have a bizon.
There are 2 at cathedral military tent that spawn with every other weapon that table usually has, but have no personally seen them spawn with bizon 🤷‍♂️

yeah, the spawns for stuff are not well balanced. Also that quest was written before wipe and on day 1 wipe the scavs spawned with bizons like crazy. They got nerfed because everyone was crying.
That said the quest at first was asking for SKS. Honestly would have been better to just leave it because at least the Cathedral scav outside it half the time spawns with SKS, even if he is the only one who spawns with SKS.

The learning curve in this game for new players is beyond shit

Hmmm, well, one thing to consider is that the guns are not hitscan, there are actual physical bullets that use a curve for trajectory.
The irons should be zeroed to 50 meters, the scopes - for 100 meters.

With that, bullets also have travel time, that needs to be considered.
If you want to see your bullets, load up Tracer rounds inside your gun and go to Island night map on training and shoot some rounds.

what I did in september was just run naked runs (no guns, no anything) till I learned to extract and take down other players when starting with nothing.
That said, Fenix have been buffed now and it's a bit harder to do that. Still possible on Island of Tabor though. What wasn't there before however was PvE mode where you can train freely.

knowing your guns and knowing the map well is main part of being good at this game, yes. With that PvE gives you like 50% of what you need to be successful. Other 50% is the tactics that other players use. Once you can comfortably extract from a map every time, then switch to PvP and learn the tactics other players use and use them against them.

why not? Scavs are there to emulate thread that other players pose. Due to constant crying from Timmies, their danger level has been severely reduced. Any player could shoot at you from the distance the scavs do and do it with more accuracy than the scavs do.

No, that is not true at all. Their aim starts to deteriorate at anything above 20 meters and even below that it's not really 100%.

it's important to learn their positions, they always spawn in the same places with little variability, and learn to head-tap them before they can make a single shot

If you are the type to learn from punishment, you can go PvE and run A22 with Ruger only. That will make you learn to head-tap scavs quickly.

To be fair, it's not that hard at all. Common retort to that would be Skill Issue. Just gotta learn and practice.
That said, it is indeed not a game meant for all the casuals. It's slightly harder than your average shooter game and will force you to learn some things and use tactical approach to stuff. If you can't manage that, just might not be the game for you and other genres in VR might be more your pace 🤷‍♂️

Honestly though, generally that would be a valid strat if you need the Krtek helmet or gun, but it's a stupid strat right now. For one, too many bug exploiters. If you do end up doing that, record your run and report the bug exploiter once you die to them so they can get banned. That aside, many people use nades on silo and collector kit is very much vulnerable to that, so really you are just asking for the kit to be taken from you.

Again, that said, running Silo in general is just stupid, there are no real benefits from running silo, unless you absolutel need player kills for a quest. I don't give a fuck what anyone else tells you, if you are not after player kills, running silo is inherently stupid whatever your gear is.
