Because normally oculusvr will still run underneath when it's installed on your pc
That's why it's not recommended to use steamvr with oculus devices normally

However you can uninstall meta software and not bother with any of it if you're using steamlink or VD anyways

Tabor is a bit more hardcore and tactical- it is very survival based and milsimish.

Contractor's exfil zone is more arcadey and bright, more gamey.

In my opinion, it is like comparing Airsoft and paintball. Tabor is more like Airsoft, exfilzone is more like paintball. You could also make a PUBG vs Fortnite comparison, but it would be a bit more extreme

Scott's plan is to slowly increase scav difficulty to condition everyone to scavs being an actual threat. This is a reaction to initial timmy outrage on day 1 of this wipe, having too much skill issue.
M16 scavs being accurate and VSS scavs having full auto is probably part of the larger plan and the slow rollout of changes, bringin scavs back to day 1 level.

I still say that this along with some other changes, like gun jamming and more difficult healing system, will just annihilate large playerbase who came and stayed for the more casual game. But it's Scott's game and he can do whatever he wants with it 🤷‍♂️

It's setup the way it is so you can unlink at any time without having to reset your account if you ever wanna unlink again

Linking won't merge the accounts, they will still both exist, you're just telling the game to access what you set as primary on both accounts
So for example if you link with meta as primary then it's just a redirect so the game accesses your meta account when playing on steam

its not great, but its not terrible. good for taking out targets up close but useless beyond that. Its got a fast Rate of Fire (RoF) so youll burn thru ammo quick. reccomend taking multiple mags. Also near useless against armor since its pistol calibre. so if the target is wearing armor, aim for the spots not covered by it

try to clear the map of hostile players first, then you want to lure out him and his gaurds one by one to make them easier to take down. For his gaurds aim for their face and their legs. For krtek, especially if you dont have ap or a big gun, aim for his thighs. Alternatively if you are good with grenades, blast his ass. lure them out one by by and kill them quick and try to use walls as cover to reduce the amount of incoming fire. You need to be quick tho bc they are aggressive and will chase you

it is reccomended to have a plan to fallback as you take out him and his gaurds to give you time to reload behind cover before they get on top of you

anyhow, when dealing with scavs you want to engage from greater distances. their aim is severly worse the farther you get. Also stick to things like rocks, walls, cars, etc... that stop bullets but allows you to lean or peak out to shoot from. Aim for their pelvis or head as when scavs shoot at you they bring up their arms and they will soak up a ton of damage instead of being hit in the chest

yeah lol. when moving in tighter areas like inside of structures, its important to listen to their movement and be quick on the draw. one scav is an easy kill but several can be overwhelming. When you do engage, like before, put something between you and them. otherwise aim for the head (usually easier to hit since within 10m) and pace your fire. It can also help to learn how to "pie the room" and check your corners if you ever decide to fight players. its easier to see a diagram so i reccomend looking it up but pieing the room is a tried and tested technique in room clearing
