Though if you're curious in the future, the quest 3 has many features that are also worth looking into that the index doesn't have. But if you want to play steamvr then index is definitely the best, it's got the best tracking and controller. The display is a bit worse than the quest 3 but shouldn't matter much

Oh quest 3 has a much much better resolution compared to the 2. I've tried both and the quest 3 is much clearer. Tho due to it still being a standalone headset, it's not as good as pcvr, but definitely better than the 2 by lightyears. I wouldn't do pcvr with the quest 2 since the resolution is the same you'd just get more details from it

PvE is Player vs environment PvP, (which is technically PvPvE) is player vs player (vs environment).
The main difference is the lack of players, however the PvE missions are also somewhat different due to the lack of enemy players so you can expect some differences there, however basically everything else is the same

That screen is basically when something goes wrong. You get that if you exfilled but then raid time ended as you had end screen open. Really means that connection was lost in some way.
One reason could be getting killed the moment he exfilled, before data was saved. But really it's a bunch of things that could have happened.

since servers are unstable lately, could be that you exfilled faster as host and then the server dropped connection for client 🤷‍♂️

Quick guide for "Tracked and Hunted", Jiri's quest.

Objective:

1. Locate the container in Labs on Island of Tabor. Place all required items; 3 Phones, 3 USB Chargers and the tracking device inside, then close the container (Look for the X on it).

Details:

Guide:
Gather the items, buy tracking device from Shiro in Tabor Market under Bunker Resources tab.
You only need to deliver the items to the box, place them inside, close the lid, so you can do it with minimal equipment as well. Note though that all entrances to labs are guarded by NPCs and labs are very active with enemy players. Best chance is to succeed it is to spawn nearby and then just rush to the room.
To get to the room with chest, you need to go to second level of the labs building, head into the big room with several chests. At the back of it you will see collapsed floor leading down. Go down it, crouch to get through a hole in the wall and you will find wooden chest with X on it. Place your items there and close the lid.
Quest objective should update right away if you did everything correctly, you can check it in your active quests on menu.
Once that's done, you are free to play normally. Go check those purple card spawns!

the pixel density thing is in tabor settings when you hold the crouch button (the analog on the left controller)

also ALVR only works if you have a quest, pico and a couple of android based headsets, if you have those then its not as hard to install just do it yourself

i have these settings in the Foveated encoding section, it makes your game look worse on the edges for a performance increase

theres also reducing your FOV in quest link using oculus-debug and changing the FOV-Tangent setting to about 0.8 for each

it will give you a disadventage because you will be able to see less but your framerate is going to be greatly increased

It's not entirely clear how to level them up. What we know right now:

1. It's not the lowest level trader. I have Nuclear Night, all my trader were level 2 yet Marek and MoD tasks were level 1
2. It's not the highest level trader. MoD and Marek were level 4 or 5 (also not clear) before I got my spectre to level 4
3. It does not seem to be tied to player level, as I advanced my player level to 15 without doing tasks/quest and Marek / MoD remained the same level.

It could be tied to quest progression. Or maybe quest and level progression. Or maybe amount of money spent or amount of money in the vault. All theories for now, I need to get back on PvE to keep testing.

Either way their display level is always 2 yet there are at least 4 task tiers for Marek and MoD.

allways go for legs when you have anything lower than 5.56, and even with 5.56 it dosent penetrate higher level armor as easily. if you are using anything 5.56 and above, lower body or head is always your safest option.
