btw the recoil on bolt action snipers is so massive that if you shoot it with one hand and hold the bolt with another you have a chance to automatically rack the bolt

The difference between M856 and M856A1 on tarkov was pretty significant iirc, though I haven't played in over a year now I think, that's a pretty small example of being too complex but it just gets bigger the more "realistic" elements you add into the game

If this helps, just had an airdrop land between the sniper tower and 2 barracks on island in the prison/military base. Had about 30-32min left in raid and knew of at least 2 other players when I heard the plane. Also took a few minutes to land. Once it landed it produced red smoke for a few min after.

we need to make a tutorial video or guide on how to do the testing. i'm sure everyone is competent but if we're not using the same method, the data is less useful. unless someone challenges me on it, each division is 2 hp. so not really possible to measure an odd number unless you're shooting a hand or foot and you are taking the average of the multiple shots. there's 46 pips visible and 4 hidden. we may want to rely on screenshots or video because it's easy to second guess yourself. there are tricks you can do to help yourself out. and if you're expecting the gun to 1 shot kill you, shoot a foot. killing yourself in one shot doesn't give us a value to work off of.
