Expansions are also per platform. Its unfortunate, but its a gaming standard.

The point of having the cloud save is, as you pointed out, having the ability to transfer between platforms. Thats still what it exists for, and its functioning as expected in this case.

there are 18 ingredients you can use to cook. note does not use coal and you can eat the food you make in there to get energy. You can't bring stuff in or leave with it.

not unless you buy the deluxe edition with everything in it. If you are only getting WBR then you only get WBR content.

Wishblossom does not automatically give you access to the others. You have to specifically buy them. As for the extras, I'm not sure they're available anymore as they were specific to certain editions.

If you unlocked the potions with Merlin it is just a digging potion at the crafting table. You do need to progress the story a bit to unlock the vitalys mines

I'm having difficulty completing "Capture The Sun", because Vanellope has a tendency to despawn at all times. Mostly, shell appear when required for a quest, but in this case, when I go into the Dream Castle, she's not with the other participants. Because of this tendency, I'm also unable to complete the Star Path duty to hang out with her for 20 minutes. Please help.

How to upgrade the friendship level

by doing any activity like Fishing, forageing, farming, mining, digging with them.

They will get slightly more xp from the role you assign them (gardening, mining, foraging, fishing, digging )

Villagers will show up in the resturant, and if you give them the meal they request they will get xp from that.

Also doing daily discussions and gifing them their favorites of the day give xp.

When you're viewing an item there's a button to Pin it/save it somewhere on the screen. It'll then save to your Saved items on the shop page. You can only pin two items at a time but they will stay there until you decide to buy it or unpin it

Sadly PS4 is an older platform itself so more prone to crashes itself, best options are to make sure you do have extra storage space then the console fully off every now and then and even unplug it for a bit from time to time to help clear any residual caches that may be tying up any memory.

Eve's house unlocks early. To unlock Raps and Gaston's houses you have to do their friendship quests. Once you can move the house, they will visit the valley. If you cannot move their houses, you are not far enough.

You have to approach slowly, if you run too close to them they will run. You have to stop as soon as they alert, so you need to approach them slowly so you can stop as soon as they alert.

I know the expected way to do this and to approach slowly the issue is it’s not working as intended, and if I try to approach anyway they run

You need to stand still and let the croc come to you, when it gets near you it will alert. Don't run toward it. Then stand still and wait for it's up and down to start. The timing is different, they hold for two instead of one, so you have to wait longer.

Can't do Valley Visits on PS without PS Plus unfourtanatly, you can make money by growing other things, use a gardening buddy and critters if you can to get best results, these are the most profitable seeds from each biome:

Best way to get rich soil is to plant and harvest Wheat, it only takes a minute to grow so if you plant a garden of about 25 and harvest it a dozen times you should get what you need.

It should - if it's not your companion, it will say "approach". If it says "pet", that is YOUR critter that you tamed. You can't feed those.

hey y'all, is it normal for the event tab to disappear when people are visiting and for visitors to not be able to drop items if your furniture limit is over? I also couldnt open furniture mode or chests (which I know now is totally normal for multiplater mode) and almost had a stroke on the spot thinking my game went kaput LOL

the visit made my game also glitch visually like CRAZY. to be fair I am playing on switch which is sorely due for an upgrade, cant wait for the switch 2 version

If a dreamstyle appears in the premium shop rotation you would have to buy it to unlock it.

If the dreamstyle is from a star path, you need to have done the star path to unlock it. Sometimes these will appear in the premium shop after the path is done - same rules as the first piece apply.

I think there's something wrong with Pixie Acres and Glamour Gulch. I think the RNG for blue and gold ripples is really low, and they don't have special rock spots for the jasper and honeycomb stone. The pyrite does in the mountains, though. Edit for clarification: By 'special rock spots' I mean the ones with the colourful rocks sticking out that show you're guaranteed to get a gem.

I do, but what I was talking about is more about how the expansion pack seems to have something incomplete about it than issues getting Jasper or Honeycomb Stone. The blue and gold fishing spots are rarer in both Biomes and they don't have the special gem rock spots that guarantee gem drops, making them the only ones to not have them, which makes their gemstones the rarest in the whole game despite the fact you need them for a lot of things and thatg price-wise, they're not TOO remarkable.

Or to put it simply, I don't think they're missing on purpose.

The dunes is the entire region on the left side of the side of the map, the different areas you unlocked with the mist are the biomes. Two biomes in there which are the wastes and the oasis in English are where the petals you need, you need to make sure you are searching in those two exact biomes,

Make sure you have no mods installed, even for other games and verify the game files or uninstall and reinstall the game, sometimes the updates mess up your installation and a reinstall is the best way to fix it, make sure there is at least 20G of free space left after installation on the drive, if none of that works try a clean install by carefully following these instructions:

If you're running any mods with the game, i would recommend disabling them and trying again. You'll likely want to go empty your pack into chests before doing so

It should have spawned in the same area as the page but has a nasty habit of ending up under things so you may have to shuffle around looking carefully for a "pick up" prompt, that might be it - try dropping several small items as near that spot as you can, then use the hold to pickup, hopefully you will get it as well.

If this is for the quest "A Fishy Dispute" you don't actually catch a catfish, you need to fish the red/gold bubble where he said he found a catfish on Dazzle beach to catch a time capsule, near the dock if my memory is correct and you may need to wear the green waders he gave you and be tracking the quest to get the bubble to appear.

And then for the wardrobe or clothing, it also has to have some type of gloves, and then for the furniture it has to have the tag utility.

That first one is the Dreamsnaps tags. It is possible, sometimes, to be able to do your dreamsnap in Daisy's while doing a boutique challenge. Now that there is no longer "clothing" and "decor" challenges but it's just tags, you'll see that pop up. You, however, are only looking at the box for Daisy's challenge specifically - she doesn't care about dreamsnap tags

I know the seasonal ones (st Patrick's, Easter, Halloween and christmas) are every year so far with maybe an additional task added. But I'm wondering if I'll ever be able to finish 'Jungle Bungles' 'Clean your room' etc or 'Get nostalgic' 'expert treasure hunter'

That said, its in 1 biome per day at random across all maps you own (except the floating islands). There isnt a way to force one specific biome.

Has anyone had issues receiving purchased moonstones???
To be more specific, I play on Mac, so the purchase goes through the App Store. I’ve never had an issue before, but this time was different.

First, I made the purchase on Feb. 28th and it was “pending” for 3-4 days. Finally got it to go through, but had already opened a ticket with Gameloft, who said it was an issue with App Store.

I waited a day or so after the transaction cleared and still hadn’t received the moonstones in-game. I’ve now been back and forth with Gameloft support — they have sent them to my account multiple times, but I don’t receive them. Last I heard, they are “looking into my case”.

Just curious if anyone else has had this or anything similar?!

I’ve had issues with them randomly taking money from my account, but I’m a console player and have never paid for an in game currency. Following the help they received:

Check your hidden items and make sure it didn't accidentally end up there. If it's not there, that means you've placed it somewhere and you need to go find it.

(Also as a point of reference: Disney doesn't answer anything, as they don't run the game. Gameloft does. And they do answer tickets, you just need to word in a way that tells them what you need)

They say my ticket is resolved i dont know how to see my ticket there is nothing in my email saying how it was resolved. You can find out such things by reading your quest log and seeing which characters are required for your active quests. Active quests often put characters in specific locations for certain parts of the quests, which can be seen in most cases by looking at the quest steps for the name of the character you cannot find.

Yeah, for sure. It's much easier if you don't level every character at the same time and accept all their quests simultaneously. Instead concentrate on finishing your open quests and don't accept new ones until the log is empty, then you can level up a character to start their next quest one or two at a time. You unlock the Basic versions of the machines fairly early, but I believe you'll need to upgrade them to Advanced to collect event items, and you won't be able to do that until your hourglass is level 3.

The fragments are entirely random which it will be, so if there is any you cannot seem to ever get, you could always go to #multiplayer-chat and see if anyone has the ones you are missing that could help finish off your collection. you just have to check collection tab to see which ones you have avablie that day they change daily

If you sent an email into support, you probably will not be able to reclaim it successfully, but you can reply to it to simply "Cancel" it and let them know it was opened by mistake. Usually reclaiming messages only works if both people are using the same email servers but for a ticketing system, once it's in there it's in there.

I’m on Xbox and using Scuf Controller. This is extremely disappointing because I want to play the game and can’t. I move my character one direction and it doesn’t respond correctly it’ll go the complete opposite sometimes, it’s very janky and the input delay is insane. Those are the leftover books from Olaf's cave, you can't sell the "Conspicuous book" needed to open the second part of Mickey's secret room, it is either still on the floor in there or in storage somewhere, many stash it in one of the chests in the room.

Yes, that's the room, if you have access to both rooms you no longer have the "Conspicuous Book", it will have a quest symbol in storage and can't be sold, ate, given away or dropped.

NOPE! 😂 I have purchased all three DLC‘s and I still have not gotten through the first one! I keep thinking about how those vacuums would be very useful or the watering system. Just curious if I did get the ancient vacuum, do you have to be logged onto the game for them to be collected or for them to be harvested every 90 minutes even though you don’t have to go through “the round” because I know the system collects all the items on the ground for you

You've got to go and collect them from the vacuums, so you've still got to do the 'round' you can select all items or just select the clovers, costs a little mist. Think they have to be the advanced vacuum to pick up event spawns

Over the past...5 hours or so...I've checked regularly for clovers (maybe every 30-45 min), using vacuums in all biomes. I've found over 40 three leaf clovers and ZERO four leaf clovers. There was one four leaf about six hours ago, and none since. So much for the every 45/90 minute spawn (I've seen claims of both). If I remember last year...was it actually only one per day until the 17th, when they spawn more regularly?

I remember last year it was very brutal and a tiny bit better on the last day with the chance of the four leaf.

You could collect every 45 minutes, pick up the 3 leaf and then every other time collect a 4 leaf along with more 3 leaf. I have them in each of the valley biomes and probably takes about 5 minutes, if that to wizz round each vacuum. Much, much quicker then having to search the biome for them.

You can. The pillar for Frosted is part of Olaf's quest for that biome, and has nothing to do with the herring.

Olaf's quest is outside, not in Elsa's cave to be clear. The pillars you place the items on for Elsa are in her cave, the pillar for Frosted Heights is outside, like the other pillars you restore by putting the orbs into them. You need to do that Olaf quest, not the Elsa quest. Just to be clear.

So this may be a complete fluke, but I'd been leaving DDV running in the background because I was checking it semi-regularly. After the last post I actually shut the game down and then after about 5 minutes turned it back on. Low and behind a four leaf clover appeared. Additionally, another flower (a regular one but of the rarest spawn rate) I'd been waiting for for over the same five hours also appeared. Again, maybe it was a fluke, but I wonder if leaving the game open actually is suppressing rarer spawns for some reason. I'm going to leave the game off in between checks now and see if the four leaf clover rate improves a little.

Sorry to ping you about this so late. Do you mean that when you equipped the critter again, the item came back?

Yes. so what happened was, when the item appeared in my inventory, it was when i had a specific critter equipped. but when i took off the critter, the item disappeared from my inventory because the critter was still holding that item in its own inventory

Hi! Sorry if anyone else has had this problem and has asked this, but I am playing on Xbox, and I cannot get my extra item limit to toggle over. I am not exceeding the limits either so I don’t know why I can’t get it to toggle.😅

You have to be on current generation Xbox Series S or X to enable the expanded limits.

If the crafting station can't locate the potion in your storage it must be in realm/castle storage or in one of the EI chests, I haven't heard of support being able to replace them.

This is impossible, critters do not have inventories, they just give you additional inventory based on their level. They cannot and do not hold items themselves. When you unequip a critter the item in the critter inventory rows is moved to your normal inventory rows. If there is not room in your normal inventory, you get an error message saying you cannot unequip the critter due to insufficient space, because the critters cannot store items.

well that is not what happened in this case. don’t know if it was a glitch but when i unequipped the companion, the items did not move to my inventory.. it wasn’t until i re-added the companion that my items appeared.

Where exactly in your inventory did the items appear? The very bottom or the top?

the bottom. so when i unequipped the companion, it did not move to my inventory. when i equipped the companion, it came back. may have been a glitch cause that usually does not happen.

It shouldn't even be a glitch, because since critters are not coded to maintain items there is no way they can glitch into doing so. At best all I can figure is it was a UI glitch that was resolved by refreshing the UI by equipping a critter. Glad you found the items either way, just want to be clear for everyone that critters do not store items and that is not a mechanic in the game.

You may want to report that as thats not the way its intended to function. Critters don't have persistent storage and the game is supposed to prompt you to warn you that you don't have room in your inventory to absorb the items in their storage rows

No one is jumping on your back friend, part of what we do here is help figure out glitches and why they might happen. We were surprised by your issue because it shouldn't be possible. That is in no way saying that you are lying or anything, just that we cannot understand why it happened and we love to understand.

They won't be stuck no, you can move them back at any time and they will still visit if enabled on the map for the area you want them to visit. However, we recommend you don't move any houses there that you still have quests left for, as it can mess them up.

Trades are done in #multiplayer-chat - did you walk around the plaza with a flower pet? Look carefully for the blue paw to appear behind things etc so you can see if one is stuck somewhere the pet can't get to, though they can reach most places when you can't.

Hey guys, I'm having some problems loading my mom's cloud save. She's been playing on Nintendo switch since the game released, and we just got the game on Xbox due to gamepass. I've logged into the cloud save/gameloft account on her switch and uploaded the file to the cloud, but when I log onto the Xbox game and go to log into the account, I get an error saying that the account is already logged in so it can't be logged into. Do I have to log out of the switch then log into Xbox? That seems tedious. I don't personally see a reason why I wouldn't be able to be logged into the account on both profiles...how else do I access the cloud save??

It means that a different game of DDV has already been started by that Xbox user profile/Gamertag and you would need to put in a support ticket to have it removed or create a new user profile for her to use on the Xbox with her Switch game.

You needed to log into the Gameloft cloud save account before hitting "New Game", it creates another User ID at that point and there is no end user fix other than to try another account.

I have just created a FRESH Xbox profile, logged into dreamlight for the very first time and log in and get the same error "failed to log in with this email address because there is another account registered to it already"

I have no idea where I'm going wrong. Didn't touch the new game button, just created this profile 3 minutes ago but it still gives me this error

Another possibility is that your mom has had her save loaded on a Xbox platform before, either console or PC, either herself or letting someone else do it. In which case you must log in to the exact same Xbox account that was used for that.

Support can remove the other Xbox Gamertag from her game, they have gotten pretty good at fixing these problems but it may take several days.

Depends on what time you want it to be visually in the game. You can move up to twelve hours forward or twelve hours backwards, night starts at 6pm morning starts at 6am
