My suggestion is to actually look at something before pulling it down as inappropriate. A lot of the pictures I’ve seen very briefly before they were pulled would hardly meet the definition of sexually explicit content or even mildly nsfw.
In all fairness here if they watch anime on streaming video or something or use the internet. it’s pretty much guaranteed they have seen and downloaded content that would make you blush.

This might be a big suggestion but you could make general channels for each server, which you can access by applying for a role. this could help ppl on their server interact and talk not just in game but outside it. this could also help when the server transfers happen and ppl want to know what servers to change to (if they are going to) it also means if anything is happening on that server, ppl not in game or in loading screams or just got on, can see whats happening. (like raids, etc) I know there is world chat whilst your in game but it feels a bit oofs to use. I feel like this could bring everyone on certain servers, a better experience with each other. (could also make guild/ crew recruiting easier for ppl. (it also means ppl not in a crew can still interact with others easier for that server)

Start by finding ways to actually promote the game by fostering an active community of players. Your mods over-police the chat and alienate some of its most active players/members over non-issues that do not even cause disturbances. I'm not talking about toxic content, spam, or NSFW posts. For example, on #standard-chat, even if on topic with the game (eg. game mechanics, collaborations, RNG-related comparison), any mention or reference to other titles often lead to mods completely stopping the conversation, deleting messages, and issuing warnings/mute. From personal experience, saying "G." game in reference to a popular gacha game, led to an hour-long mute even if the conversation was a productive discussion about TOF as the primary topic. It seems mods become overzealous about (hiding behind the) rules and are incapable of making their own judgement based on context.

Coupled with that, you have also removed the function of expiring warnings. What better way to eventually ban active members by having moderators that issue warnings over minor non-issues that just rack up over time?

Let's face it, this game's active player base isn't exactly flourishing. If you had any appreciation for its fans, at the very least, be grateful we still have a good community here that actively wants to discuss the game. Reevaluating your goal might help because it seems that lately, your primary purpose is to use this discord to satisfy your power-tripping needs/hobby instead of actually promoting the game.

As a new player I want that sense of community and trying to type in the discord whilst playing is a lot harder than talking whilst playing! Hi just want to say thank you to the staff and mods efforts for opening and running the 2.4 feedback thread . I think it was a great idea and did notice some of the things mentioned inside implemented quickly after being posted. Whether they were planned anyway or not it does feel like communication and attempts to look into community concerns is improving. It would be great if feedback threads/forums like this can become a regular thing and to have one of these every patch rotation please. While the ingame survey does exist for feedback it doesn't contain a general suggestion field, whereas the discord thread can do this and also allows for attachments like pictures that can be used to help illustrate peoples points.

It has so much history, from the beginning of the game to our current day, PvP channel is pretty much a whole part of Tower of Fantasy.

Channel for team forming would be nice. Example in that channel we have certain format, like:

• Looking for Team (LFT) or Looking for Member (LFM)
• Server (Example: APAC - Eden)
• Instance (Example: OoW Stage xx)
• Goals (Example: Buff farming or clearing stages)

• Details (Example: May send buff list if OoW or send tech buff list if VA)

As for the reasons why i suggest this:

PlayStation 5 NA global quality of life improvements suggestions :

This discord server needs a PlayStation 5 North America global channels separate from the other current channels. It's hard to find fellow PlayStation 5 NA gamers to play the game with and talk about the game with for PlayStation 5 experience etc. Plus people might need help and a PC player cannot help a PlayStation 5 player, especially since there will be no cross play at launch unfortunately. So until they add cross play.. it's kind of pointless to have just generalized channels as PC dominates discord activity. I suggest adjusting the on-boarding; merging both languages & region selections and creating the last question, it being:

• Which system are you playing ToF mostly on? iOS | Android | PC | Other.

Selecting Other will give the wanderer a Other role, hiding all channels and only showing one channel; explaining this Discord is associated with the global version on iOS, Android and PC. And, have nothing to do with the PlayStation or other versions, as it is handled by another publisher and redirecting the player to the correct Discord. It would greatly reduce the amount of console players coming in and asking; "Is this the PlayStation discord?" etc.

Stuff like meme competitions etc (all within boundaries of the rules, obviously). Winners would be picked by counting the amount of reactions of each participant. Everyone could then partake with one entry and potentially win.

Only problem is a "price" for winning. I'm pretty sure mods can't just spawn DC codes out of nowhere so that might need some thinking...but I like the idea of more community oriented events.

Suggestion:

Drag the voice channel back up on the list of channel, and not hide it in the lowest part of the lists. People use the VC a lot back then because they can see it. Now, you gotta look for it and people often forget it exist. The server will be more active if people can share their gameplay in vc.

So I was asking for help with account transfer and within my messages I got muted by automod for unintentionally using a word that I didn't know was not allowed in this server.

The bot deleted my message, and then proceeded to muting me for 24 hours, completely interrupting the conversation.

If automod already automatically deletes messages that include bad words, why is there a reason to additionally mute? This server already has strict rules; the word I used was the "R-word", which is not a very intensive swear word and is extremely common gamer lingo.

I do understand that this server has certain rules and I respect that, I am not suggesting to allow or disallow behaviour, I am merely making a suggestion on how the moderation to that behaviour is approached.

Suggestion:
Automod should not automute people when they swear, just delete their message - like it already does.

You guys messing too much lately with Discord channels - including where each type of information lands.
A lot of people (including me) uses the "Follow channel" integrity function, to redirect Announces considered as important/valuable to their own Discord servers; to easily keep track of them.
Without prior heads-up, it's impossible to know about any sudden change... unless someone will specifically visit this server every single day, just to verify integrity of announcement channels.

A very good example of this is moving CBT Announcements from #game-announcements to #server-news (like seriously: why other Discord servers would need to know about this server "Forum Channels" or "Duplicate Roles", when looking forward to join CBT or about other game-related updates? ).

Another issue (with pretty much the same result) happens when some channels changes its Name / Purpose / gets Recreated. Image example below:

Remove the #1248646563895705672 thread. The wall of shame channel that was requested back then was never approved but that thread was somehow made to be the official wall of shame. Also, that thread challenges the formality of the rules and always a hot pile of mess.

This is just my suggestion though, its ok if others does not like it.

readd soundboards to vc chat, its such a staple, for people who dont have mics but still want to contribute to the vc talks, and while at it you can add ur own custom sounds from tof to make the vcs more fun
