no no change the game to use dx11 rather than 12
Open Steam and go to your library.
Right-click on TOF and select "Properties".
Under the "General" tab, find the "Launch Options" box.
In the text field, type -dx11
Click "OK" to save your changes.

So I just downloaded the new launcher and I did the transfer a while back so now I logged in with my email?,out of all the options given It sent a code to my email and I logged in but I don’t see my old server Stardust or anything of my old account what am I doing wrong?
yes PWG email is right method!
you can scroll down the server list
It looks like Stardust is a “southeast asia” server so try checking there

when did you do transfer btw? if after march 10th, your acct won’t be transferred yet
sometimes we suggest people look through all servers in their region 1 by 1 just in case

it’s not a true “transfer” in the sense that data goes away as soon as it is moved to PWG
rather, your LI data is just copied over to PWG
so you can retransfer

Not the PWG/LI. I'm referring to the original account that I used to login before the whole server transfers and stuff.
I've bound my gmail that contained the emails from the game a few years ago to PWG. This gmail has the verification prompts and what-not. However, when I tried logging in with the PWG that was bound to it, the server I'm supposed to have my account wasn't there. 16001 was the starting 5 digits of my UID so I should have my account in Phantasia but it didn't happen.
I don't really want to wait for another 8 days to try another email so is there no other way? From my past experience, CS hasn't been helpful too
okay, so first of all you can make unlimited PWG accts
so, log out of the transfer page and log back in with a different email, connect to a new PWG acct
Do this for every email/third party login you have
Facebook seems to be working now for the transfer but I'd have to delete the current existing PWG accounts I have because it's empty. That and I stil have to wait for another week, maybe even more just to get my account transferred
but if have old emails in your gmail acct then yeah it is most likely that one

That gmail account's PWG account led to the character selection cutscene. The PWG IDs also match up so it isn't a mistake
okay, so next step is what I call the “dummy acct” method
- make a new acct (new email/FB/google) on your region
- make new char
- search for old char name in friends add
I'd really rather not make burner accounts just to try and get my account transferred. It's a huge inconvenience

that’s why I advise checking as much as you can on your own, to make it easier and faster when they do respond

okay! there are a couple things we can look at. first of all, does the PWG ID on that screenshot match your in-game ID (in the user center)?
also as for overwriting, the old char will overwrite the new one, so don’t worry if you did make a new char
yup go to the account center (in settings) and you can add a password if you like

in the mean time, you can check your PWG login if you like
how do i do that?
first look at the “PWG ID” on the transfer webpage (right side)
then open the game and log in using the email method
make sure your in-game ID (in the account center in settings) matches the webpage one. The “00” that you see first is just a placeholder, actually click on the acct center
you can also set a password if you want

Problem Report:
Will try to contact CS at later date again 2, although my experiences for the past 5+ months is TOF crashing after loading and playing in the world 4 around 5~10 minutes, then crashes with no prompt, tried contacting TOF CS multiple times about the issue with no solution found. TwT
Things I've tried: verify game files, changes DX12 to DX11 in launcher settings, clear game cache n data in appdata, clear game data in registry, re-install game, re-install GPU n CPU drivers, check anti-virus n firewall rules(event went as far as disabling em), re-install win10 OS, and upgraded to a fresh version of win11. >w>
Temp solution found: Install android emulator(MuMuPlayer) that runs Vulcan GPU pipeline dat my GTX 1080 Ti seem 2 work fine with(IDK why Vulcan works fine with nu issues but game seems 2 have serious beef with both DX12 and DX11). >w>
Still would like 2 have the PC client fixed again because the emulator luvs 2 hog my poor 16GB RAM. >w<

You tried both steam and the pc client? Someone had a crashing issue using the steam version and had them try the client instead and that worked so perhaps try the steam version?

Do you have another way to sign in? There is currently a Huge issue with FB and many players are waiting for a fix.

So next is to check your server. Are you certain it’s the right one? If not certain, check the others on your region
If so, you need to contact CS and send them 3 screenshots:
- transfer webpage
- in-game matching ID
- transfer request confirmation email with date (to show them you were in a previous batch)
I can also help you check if it’s a transfer issue or an acct link/login issue, lmk if you’d like me to walk you through it. If so you should also include this detail in your email to CS

Because I had a crashing problem on Steam Client and when I switched over 2 Perfect World PC Client nu new problems with launcher or client haz arised yet. ^w^

ok, you’ll need to contact CS then
if you want, you can check if your data had transferred and just hasn’t synced to your acct
or if it hasn’t transferred yet

okay, this is the “dummy account” method:
- log out of your in-game acct and make a new one (with new email/google/fb/whatever). PWG ID will be different
- start a new game on a server in your region, make a new char
- after intro cutscene, go to “social networking” (friends add) and search for old char’s name
if char there = data transferred, but not mapped correctly
if char not there = did not transfer, could be an LI acct issue or may need a retransfer
afterwards you can delete this acct login if you want

if it’s just mapping issue, CS can usually fix it quickly
if it’s transfer issue, it may be an issue on your side (some people have linked the wrong LI acct, like if they made a bunch of old reroll accts)

No it doesn’t have to be
So I would recommend contacting CS, include your screenshots and ask them to verify the LI ID that you transferred
In the meantime, if you have any other emails/3rd party logins, try connecting them to a PWG acct too
(you can log out of the transfer website and sign in with other emails)
then wait for next batch to see if they transfer
I also advise looking through all your email accts for old emails from ToF/LI (sometimes they would send old marketing emails)
I’ve never received any marketing mails that’s the problem I have no proof that I’ve linked my acc to that specific mail

but what you can do is try to brute force it through making a new PWG acct for every email/3rd party login you have (except FB cause that’s still not working)

My email is a Google email but I signed in through LI.
The strange part is in the email I sent them it has screenshots of when I pulled Asuka and Rei and they both have my UID. I thought that would be enough information for them to help me.

you may have to close out of the game and reopen it first
you’ll know because the transfer page will refresh to the start when it’s fully deleted ^

then log into the game and it will match again
then just gotta wait for the batch 4 transfer

did you delete completely or do you still have the recover option?
recover option is that you can log into the game within 7 days after deletion and recover the account
if you deleted completely, the transfer page on the website will refresh (may have to log out/clear cache whatever)
then you can go through the process again and it’ll generate a new PWG ID
that looks like the previous PWG ID, so you used the recover option
Now you can choose:
- Delete again (will delete completely) and restart transfer process from scratch
or - do nothing, wait to see if it transfers next batch
I would pick 1 and Clara would pick 2
so it is your choice xD

well, try logging in just via email first. see if you get the ID matching the webpage
if you keep getting the google ID then the google ID is interfering and you will need to log out -> log back into Google acct -> delete Google acct in the account center

oh, you logged into the game via FB? then it will create a new account with a separate PWG ID
you shouldn’t need to delete it unless you linked it to the email that you wanna use for the PWG transfer
third party logins are a little finnicky in that they will sometimes auto-log-you-in and if you can’t switch accounts to your email login, you have to delete it
but it isn’t always an issue

nah, it’s a free for all here xD
their replies will come from a no-reply email, but you can reply to your previous email chain that you sent to them and they will see it
just include as much info as you can (email address, IDs, char name/server, transfer date etc)
as I mentioned above, it is also helpful to do the “dummy acct” method (or ask your old crew to check) since then you can tell CS you know it was either a transfer issue or mapping issue
they typically reply in 1-2 days and during day in CN timezone
some also theorize that sending proof of past purchases on the game make them help you faster. lol

i did get a level infinite email sent to me when i tried to use my email on the website to log in but it said i didnt exist, only twitter login worked

so I guess it means that JP players choose servers in this region, inc. the Nova server
they usually use APAC to designate such servers but I think it means the same thing here

you’ve checked that your data is already transferred through the “dummy account”. so now that PWG has the data, it is easy enough for them to connect it to your login
they may ask you to make a video showing your login attempt as I mentioned above

yeah basically games store your login as email (+password if you set it up), but for third party logins, it relies on the third party to verify you

I keep having an issue with a missing account. LiPass changed my Apple email to @icloud.com due to a previous account. It was thru email only login on Asia server that was using @mac.com email. Right before the transfer LiPass made me prove my Apple account. Now only the Asian server one is on PWG. The Apple login was also on North America. I’ve tried looking for them via friends but Apple isn’t there.
Also, I made a new chara ac and add friends in game to see if my ac successfully transferred. And yes, it is there.
