Presumably if both the chimera hide and the artefact are scaled from the same value, having a higher % hide than the % of the artefact will stop you from taking damage

but since the arte is 99%, that will be difficult

If your body armor has an upgrade that gives +1 or +2 HP regen, I'd recommend that to solve your problem
