Moddb has made some changes that have "broken" the launcher, meaning, you can try to download and install, but there’s absolutely no guarantee it will work = the launcher doesn't work as it should

efp is more combat oriented than GAMMA and you can get really good gear in 1-2 hours

Modlists get big because of redundancy. BAS is one of the largest mods in the list, but a lot of it ends up being overwritten by other mods, but you can't run the list without it due to dependancies.

3DSS, similarly, is almost all overwrites of other mods in the list. But it can't replace them 1 to 1 since A) it doesn't cover 100% of every mod and B) that would raise mod piracy concerns.

Usually, I don't use fast travel in my playthroughs UNTIL I get to Zaton and Jupiter
I hate those areas so fucking much that I either use fast travel or just drop the playthrough

My personal house rule for fast travel is that I'm allow to fast travel from my base (Wherever it is) to a friendly outpost, and vice versa.

This is mostly to avoid the annoyance of having to up sticks and move an entire base at least twice during the game, and to give more base location variety without restricting the routes I can take to explore the zone.

The rules tend to relax, later on in the run, especially when I reach the North. After spending 15 minutes running through the almost empty expanse that is Zaton/Jupiter to clear quests/grab stashes, I'll often just fast travel back to the hub to save myself another few minutes of running through empty terrain.

Rules also sometimes relax in the swamp, since that map is also larger than it needs to be without much in it (Apart from mutants which aren't worth the ammo early game and can just be cheesed by running into the water).
