How do you die there? Walk through the forest and up the road, you can even sneak into BS by crawling most of the way once at the walls, if it's night. Just take the long way near the antennas, but don't get too close.

By far the most popular "fix" recently for microstutters/microfreezes is messing with the lua garbage collection value

Go to Settings > Modded Exes > Optimization > Lua Garbage Collector and up it just a little bit at a time till they go away (default value is 300, some find 750-800 to be the sweet spot)

other than that... the classic list of potential fixes:

1. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
2. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
3. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no AVX)
4. Activate the Turn this on if you stutter mod to alleviate some stuttering from NPCs getting loaded into the player online a-life radius (hit or miss, this one sometimes makes it worse)
5. Activate the Meatchunk's prefetcher for G.A.M.M.A (needs 12Gb of Free RAM) (12GB on top of what GAMMA already uses, preferably 32GB RAM total) mod to reduce freezes whenever NPCs, objects, mutants or items are spawned into the map.
   The last one doesn't work if you're using custom weapons, custom textures or models but for base gamma modlist it's perfectly fine

There's only so much you can do, especially with the default game executables that GAMMA comes with

Hi guys, I had a lost signal quest in wild territory....then I found some bodies around the merc sniper nest (near level transistion to rostok) but a merc had already claimed them....I am an Egghead so I couldn't just kill him. But luckily I looked around and there was no other merc nearby so I killed him quickly. Then I searched through all the bodies and all I got was some loot and the lost signal quest still hasn't completed on PDA. Like am I supposed to find something on these bodies like a PDA or an RF receiver thing or something? I went through and checked all locations, red marks where I found bodies and blue marks where there were no bodies

Like how do I complete the quest now? this is my first time doing lost signal

Yeah you need to take a PDA from their bodies

Quest sfx will play if you take the right one

Then you bring that PDA back to the quest giver

if I use left alt key to take all the useful loot from their bodies.....it wouldn't have disassembled the PDA, right? cuz I don't see any PDA in my inventory besdies my own and I can't find any other bodies on the Map

could this have something to do with the fact that this merc had claimed the bodies before I got there?

yantar side and I checked with rf receiver there too and there was no beeping there/quiet signal very noisy but as I got closer to the rostok side it started beeping and I kept finding the bodies

Honestly I've not played the game for a while so I'm not so sure which body around the tower has the PDA. You probably have the bug that doesn't spawn the body with PDA

Normally it's best to reload the entire map when you just enter to do lost signal but you already moved to other map and return back to WT then there is not much you can do

If that's the case, you should find the quest giver and cancer the quest to get a new one, less headache

If you're unlucky the "corpses" don't even spawn as corpses but as alive NPC and wander around, even leaving the map. I still did not manage to reproduce it on point, but it happens from time to time.
