To recruit random stalkers as companions:

1. Talk to the leader of the squad.
2. The size of the squad must be within your limit (by default you can't have more than one companion at the time).
3. Your rank value must be at least 1.5 times higher than that of the squad leader.
4. Squad leader must consider you friendly (depends on your rank, reputation, faction relations and more).

Requirements 3 and 4 don't apply to paid companions, but they are rarer overall and can only be found among Loners, Bandits, Mercenaries and Freedom.
If you wish to be able to recruit more stalkers, in-game, open Mod Configuration Menu > Custom Companion Squad Size, and drag the sliders found within to the right.

bruh, im starting to notice a drop in fps (big one, from 50 to 20) in zones with high ammount of plants, so before going to the red forest i want to change my settings from DX9 enhanced to DX9 basic, but each time i change the engine in settings, i let the game save things, close it, then open again mf goes back to DX9 enhanced

Going to the RADAR. Man, am I ever getting tired of the enemies PERFECT aim and silent footsteps. Shooting me in the head through the gaps of stacked concrete slabs while I'm crouched. Yeah right. I love G.A.M.M.A but damn, the AI in this game is so aggravating. It's not good, it's broken. They all act like they have ESP, see for 1000m through fog and through walls and have super hearing. Nine times out of ten, as soon as you have your crosshairs on their head, they shoot you or strafe to the side as soon as you pull the trigger. The AI needs to be nerfed.

I really love the way gunplay feels in gamma...but sometimes, I'm not looking for the heavy grind of gamma. Can anyone point me in the direction on which mods or mod section in MO2, I might be able to start at, where I could try adding some extra mods ontop of other modpacks to get a similar feel to GAMMA? For the MCM go to the tab "Drop condition" where u can modify most of the loot from the NPCs u fight in the zone

in that tab u can change max and min condition of npcs armor and guns drops

It’s crazy how I never knew what a poltergeist actually mean in real life dictionary and in a paranormal sense. If you don't have the latest launcher, use !v6 in #🤖bot-commands and follow instructions.

2. Temporarily disable your antivirus if you have Avast, AVG, Norton or Malwarebytes
3. Close Mod Organizer 2
4. Open the GAMMA Launcher
5. (optional) Disable "force git download" and "force zip extraction". This will make it go quicker.
6. Click "Install / Update" and wait for it to finish completely.
7. Re-open Mod Organizer 2.
