Personally I have used it extensively and while for my current go I am not I would say it's very fun and makes gunfights not a matter of ammo but magazines and spacing. Say a suit has 4 small slots and 4 medium slots. If you add 5 small mags to your loadout, you'll take up 4/4 small slots and 1/4 medium slots.

This also means that you don't have to have the easier reload option ticked if your suit has a large slot, 'cause the extra magazine from your gun will just go in the large slot as you reload.

Yes. Mags are now a loot item which can randomly be found in stashes, on deads, in weapons, and at traders.
