Each caliber is given an AP Value, which is displayed in the Stats Card
(Base BR% * 0.2) + (BRC * 1.3) + Attachments = Total BR%
In the case the shot does penetrate, it just uses Base BR% + Attachments

NPC Armor works differently, as the """Bone""" (Body Part) is given Armor value.
Armor is divided in 3 sections, like so:
Legs
Torso + Arms
Head + Neck

If the AP exceeds the Armor value, then it'd deal full Damage
If the AP is lower than the Armor value, then it'd deal heavily reduced Damage but the Armor value will be reduced. Once Armor is broken, you can start dealing Full Damage
