So far I really like the OSW as it's accurate and packs a punch ( both thanks to its stats and to 7.62x51 ) but its recoil is a thing ngl.
The BRN is also cool; good all-round stats, 7.62x39 is slightly better than 5.56/ 5.45, medium rifle ammo.
The RD-74N ISG T I kind of love from previous playthroughs but I honestly don't see how it could be better than the BRN considering its stats and the fact it uses 5.45x39.

Reduction of weight at the cost of reliability and sleek design. I know. I just dislike it because outside of competetion shooting in a clear, not dusty range it serves no purpose. Maybe home defence if you keep your house clean, but seriously you would not want that stuff in the Zone, where everything can end up in those holes and your typical 5 to 10 minute gun clean would turn into an hour long slog just to get the dirt, water droplets and dust from those cutouts.

Have your companions selected individually. Have them fight offensively/defensively depending on the circumstances
Allowing them to gather loot (gotta turn off mod 311 for it tho) and even setting the damn pace. You can tell them to hurry tf up and get tf outta your way! Neat set of features making them somewhat more intuitive, even if they will steal your cover anyways if you're in a gunfight without any extra xD
Even adds a easily usable UI with backlit buttons instead of the companion wheel, and if you wish to you can still use the numpad for control over them no problem
Another clever feature is the relax mechanic. You wanna go solo even if you have those dummies along for a ride? Just tell them to sit on their asses while you go stabby stab on the monolith suckers in the middle of the night, and unless you die and have to reload a save they'll still be waiting for you where you left them
