Hey guys. I’ve read up on the issues with helmets and their percentages being buggy. When in debug mode the helmets show a crazy good radiation percentage but when worn it drops drastically to like low 10s. Is this also why when wearing good rad resistance helmets, no matter what, I still get hit with radiation? When before I didn’t get hit as much when wearing a good helmet, but if that changed this new patch I’ll just have to stock up on rad blockers

REMOVE MAGS REDUX MID-SAVE
This is a small little script that basically checks your save for any mag redux magazine items and deletes them.
I've personally tested it and haven't had any mags related crashes in 4 hours of trying, but I would still highly suggest to ALWAYS back up your saves, just in case.
Credits go to Luis Sandoval#8190 from the Escape from Pripyat discord for making this.

Tutorial:

MAKE SURE MAGS REDUX IS ENABLED
IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR AMMO MAKE SURE TO EMPTY ALL YOUR MAGAZINES FIRST, DO THIS BEFORE INSTALLING THE REMOVER MOD

1. Install this mod through MO2 (click the button in the top left under File)
2. Make sure it's at the bottom of your load order and enable the mod by ticking its box.
3. Start the game and load your save that has mags redux in it.
4. Save the game. You should receive a PDA message after this telling you how many magazines were deleted from your game.
5. Exit the game and disable the remove_mags_redux mod and Mags redux itself and "Mags buyable at traders" if you have that enabled. To be safe, disable any Mags redux related mods.
6. Your save should now be magazine-free and ready to play again.
