So to paint a picture for you guys. I'm in Outskirts. Just spoke to Strelok, went and took care of an assassination job on a random Monolith Elder, came back to Laundromat with a decent hall of gun parts and other stuff to sell off. As I'm talking to Cashier I start hearing Chimera noises. I figure "eh, some random stalker's gotten on the wrong side of one. Time to yoink the leftovers like the loot goblin I am". I start hearing more Chimera noises. Another trio? Surely not. That hadn't happened before in my entire run, no way it happens twice in two days.

Oh, how naive I was.

So I run outside and round the corner, and see with my thermal scope, the silhouette of someone disappear behind a building. Behind them not one, not two. Six Chimeras lunging after them.

Then I realise my companion's HP bar is visible, and depleting. My companion, Hip, who I left in Jupiter so she wouldn't get friendly-fire'd during the underground segment had somehow, on her own, while being told to stay put, followed me all the way to the Laundromat and aggro'd a pack of SIX Chimeras.

Well. I USED to have HP rounds. Don't anymore lol.

Most maps are kinda small

from first hand experience, .30-06 outperforms .308 in all ways but weight, and it generally does pierce armor better, both AP and FMJ
